      I have been trying to rollover my retirement funds since I changed jobs, and they have me waiting for hours. Ive been trying since October 2022. I spent countless hours on wait and they dont answer. This is an evil company.

      Customer response situation at Mutual of America needs attention! Over the past several days I have waited as long as 4 hours without answer; and unless you are fortunate enough to reach the occasional competent and thoughtful person, inaccurate information is given when a person is finally reached.
      At about 9:15 this morning an automated message said I was the 3rd caller waiting. At this moment (11:20 AM) I have been waiting more than 2 hours for that 3rd in line call back. ****** ******

      Have been waiting 6 weeks to have my husband's pension changed to my name. I depend on this money for household expenses. Of course, they are withholding the pension until the forms are filled out and returned. Can't fill the forms out til I receive them. And they still haven't been mailed. Been told it will take about 3 months. I am more than frustrated. Horrible customer service, clueless people answering phones, and total incompetence. How can it take over 6 weeks to place a blank form in an envelope and mail it?

      It's a battle to get help. Still trying to get my withdraw deposited. Was told it takes 48 hours but it's been 2 weeks. I can't reach anyone because they conveniently only have hours of operation during 9 to 5, which means like most people, I am working and unable to wait 2 hrs on hold during a work day. 10 minute wait is fine but you got a minimum of an hr waiting here. It's like being run by a skeleton crew in a remote country or something. Stay away. Far, far away from them

      **************** is **** POOR! I have contacted this company several times last month (Nov 2022) for them to change my address in their system. I have even requested them to send tax documents for 2020. The representative that I spoke to stated that they would change my address to my current and send documents, THEY DID NOTHING! I called back only to find that the representative LIED. I was supposed to be transferred to another department (which she didn't do). After several attempts to get help, here I am AGAIN on the phone (ON HOLD). It is 12/19/2022 at 7;17 pm CST after a representative hung up on me, requesting yet another change of address and tax documents. I believe there needs to be a class-action lawsuit filed against this company as they do not handle financial matters in a timely manner which causes ADDITIONAL mental health concerns. It's bad enough that there are no efficient representatives to help customers when needed. After looking at customer reviews on this **********************, I would suggest a thorough investigation be conducted on this company as their business practices are in question.

      website is rubbish. It wont let me log in. The links they send to my email have error message pages. they have mysteriously changed my address and cannot be reached by any modality. Mutual of america.....YOU ****. too bad I have to give them one star because they don't even deserve that.

      I have currently been on hold for over an hour. I emailed my withdrawal form a month ago and still haven't gotten my money or an update other than "We received it." I am sure this company can afford to hire more remote workers to answer phones. Every time I call its 1-2hr hold.

      I have been trying to get the status of my husband ********'s 401K rollover that was submitted over a month ago. I have been waiting on hold on the telephone for an hour without a response. I cannot find a means of even e-mailing someone for this information. I submitted a rollover last week and would also like to know where it stands.
      Horrible Customer Service.

      Absolutely terrible customer service. Move your accounts elsewhere immediately. You can never, and I mean never, get ahold of anyone.
