      Trying to get my money out for 6 months; can't get anyone to answer the phone; the worst customer service I have ever experienced!!! zero stars

      If I didn’t have to leave a star I wouldn’t! It’s been a three month process, so many phone calls, wait times are off the chart, asking for assistance getting access to my funds have been a pain in the rear. Any employer looking for a good investment place for them and their employees should definitely look at ****** *****. They are easily accessible, have folks that you can talk to, both in person and on the phone! I have been on hold three different times today and now looks like I need legal advice in order to get my funds transferred.

      Terrible customer service. I have been trying for months to roll over my 401k. I wait on hold for a half hour until someone picks up. I ask her the status of my rollover request after she takes all my verification info. She says she can't tell me and she has to transfer me to another line which has over an hour wait. I ask for that direct line. She says there is no direct line to them. So, you always have to call the main line and wait on hold to then get transferred and wait on hold again. I still have not succeeded in getting through to anybody that can tell me the status of my request. This company has the worst service I have ever see.

      I wish I could give ZERO stars. I tried for almost a week every day on the phone holding all day long and nobody ever answers the phones. I can't believe this company is actually in business. Terrible customer service.

      No one answers the phone. If they do, it's after one hour of being on hold and then they place you on hold again, only for no one to ever pick up. Loan submission forms are "never received" or processed. AWFUL, AWFUL company to deal with.

      Total frustration! On hold for hours. Gave up. Trying to withdraw some funds for house crisis. Finally got a form, but I cant log on to see amounts of money in accounts. I put in user and pw and the message is Account cant be accessed. Tried numerous times. Trying to get help logging on and Im on hold forever. Something seriously wrong SEC better investigate.

      They make it impossible to roll funds to another institution, placed me on hold for over an hour in the past before hanging up, sent me a letter threatening to report me to the *** 3 days after the letter arrived for a 401k loan they will not let me pay. No email to contact, phones appear to be disconnected. Im not sure how theyre going to report me to the *** if no one even works there. If your employer switches to Mutual of America, seek alternate employment.

      I have been trying to reach this company by phone since November 4, 2022 and have waited on hold for hours. I looked and looked on website and there is no chat or email address. Finally called the company office and got an answer sort of, only that someone would call me. They haven't. They withdrew funds for the *** but I had already taken care of it earlier in the year. I need them to reverse this unauthorized withdrawal. They get an "F" for customer service and accuracy on their bookwork. I will get my funds out of there as soon as possible!

      Worst company ever. I have been a client for 20 years. Due to the receiving the absolute worst customer service every time I deal with them, I have requested my money to be sent for a rollover to a new company. It has been months of calling daily, being on hold for hours and even speaking to agents that have promised they would escalate my case. Nothing has been done and I still have not received my money.

      I spent over a hr. today trying to get through to M of A. The phone prompt took 7 minutes to complete. Then on hold for 19 min. This was a call to the local office. Tried the 800#. Finally got through to a receptionist. She advised to call between 5 and 8 PM. The web site has changed' All my balances show $0.00. A deposit was deposited to my bank account. I think it is my RMD but I never received any email or regular mail about the deposit. Awful customer service. I should say no customer service.
