      Truly impossible to get ahold of anyone. It took almost a year to get my money out of their accounts. They lied about sending paperwork. We had to get attorneys involved, and it was only when we threatened legal action we finally started to get responses. They are thieves and they know it. Do not give them your business.

      I sent a certified QDRO to Mutual of America in November 2022 and it has been confirmed that it was received. I have called several times and receive the same response from customer service they an internal email will be sent to Legal and someone would call me back! I sent QDROs to reputable retirement plans and all was processed as quick as 3 weeks.Mutual of America have no ***************** I would like to withdraw my funds immediately. It should not take OVER 1 YEAR to receive communication (letter, email or phone call) about the status of my funds!I believe MOA are SCAMMERS! Its a significant amount in the mid 5 digit range.

      Actually i would rate u zero but thats not an option . I retired from my job in October after 40 years of working for nonprofit organizations. In my last role as CEO and others I have learned the importance of excellent customer service, admitting when youre wrong and apologizing. MOA does none of this plus has antiquated systems in this age of technology. I requested to have my funds withdrawn in August and still dont have my money. Just continued frustration and constant misinformation from the many many staff members i have spoken to over the last six months. Yesterday i waited on the phone for a supervisor for 45 minutes who never apologized for the wait. I had previously the same day requested twice to have a supervisor contact me immediately. Was told after I waited 45 minutes that you can only respond within 25 to 48hrs. No wonder I found myself cursing at the supervisor which I never do! Roadblocks after roadblocks; anyway to get me from having access to money which is mine not yours Requested on January 3rd with my financial planner to have the check mailed overnight at my expense as it was lost by the **** previously. Also requested an email when it went out so I could be on alert. Told couldnt do either. Every single financial institution offers this service. Its bizarre to me. If i do not receive my check by next week i will be taking further action. You have already broken the law by being past the 60 day requirement. I could go on and on with specifics but i dont want to waste another breath with you. You should be ashamed to treat people and their money in such a despicable fashion.

      I have been trying to withdraw MY FUNDS for over a month now. Little to no communication and different answers every time I call. I would not recommend this firm to anyone. Horrible experience.

      Extremely disappointed in Mutual of America customer service. A simple task of transitioning from paper checks to Electronic Funds is a 3 moth ordeal that is still ongoing. Mutual of America is stuck in the 20th century.I seriously think they are committing financial elder abuse and perhaps even outright fraud with her annuity account. I am exploring some legal ***********. Steer clear of this company!

      Your company is filled with incompetent. All of my online login credentials are incorrect and 3 different supervisors were not able to select them.My address is a private home and was put in as Apartment #2. There is no apartment number 2.I provided that in formation and it is still not corrected.I filled out withdrawal paperwork with direct deposit information on December 19th 2023 and stillon January 10th **** I still do not have my money. Only told that it is being reviewed. There is nothing to review! It's my money.

      A hardship withdrawl was intially made on 10/4/2023. Today is 12/29/2023 and I have yet to receive a response aside from "it is processing". I understand that some corrections were needed along the way (If reviewed, not sure why all the corrections weren't just requested on the same email) instead it took several emails and weeks (unorganized) BUT what really worries me is that at one point I received an email for corrections for another member. Is my information safe? Is it being sent to other members? I tried for weeks to speak to a supervisor, was supposed to receive a call within ***** hours (11/29/23). That never happened. I did speak to a supervisor on 12/21/2023 who advised me that a supervisor from the processing department had my paperwork at that moment was reviewing it. I call today, and they have no idea what I am talking about or that I even had my forms lastly submitted on 12/5/2023. They had to research to look for it. I got the same response, "In Processing". My review, this organization can not be trusted to manage our financial information. My recommendation, this organization needs to be investigated, for their lack of organization, lack of customer services, and lack of confidentiality. **************** is the support you offer your customers from the moment they first contact your business to the months and years afterward. As a customer of ***************************************************************** getting my HARDSHIP withdrawl reviewed.

      Zero current technology. Operating in the dark ages. Transactions that can be performed in hours electronically with every other financial services company will literally take weeks to months to get done through email and the US Mail. They do all they can to delay paying out any funds. When you call to check a withdrawal to rep does not look at your account to determine and verify what is going on, they ask you for the last contact you had regarding your withdrawal and then count how many days it has been since...You sent your request- prepared answer is "It will be in your account on this day" they simply count 10 days from when you say you filed a withdrawal You call and say "My money did not arrive" Prepared answer- allow 3-5 more days for processing. (it takes 24 hours to get a withdrawal everywhere else)You make a second call- still no money- prepared answer- they are busy processing and are behind, allow another 7 days.You call the third time, now you are about 22 days in- Prepared answer- there was a box not checked, left blank, etc on one page of the 14 page withdrawal request. That has slowed it down, and you may be asked to resubmit the withdrawal At this point your MofA accounts will be drained of your withdrawal request- and you will get excited anticipating that it is on its way- but no- nothing comes, your money is missing and you wait 60 days or more while they "figure it out"There are hundreds of complaints just from this year 2023 on the BBB site showing everyone going through this exact same scam by MofA. I have contacted the ** Attorney for the Central District of ***** along with the *** as this seems to be an ongoing conspiracy to keep from paying out any withdrawals. Perhaps MofA cannot cover all the withdrawals and needs new deposits to cover them?

      Antique website that provides zero help. Company lives in the ****s with snail mail, forms you fill out by hand and FAX MACHINES.Run as far and as fast as you can from them. They will not ever let you withdraw any money, even though it is yours.
