      Sales agent at airport fraudulently claimed I would get one year free with my Amex card via a rebate in 6-8 weeks, but it turned out that my card was ineligible. Once I discovered that a rebate would not be forthcoming after the waiting period, Clear refused to offer me a refund.

      They should stop promoting their service with salesmen until they find a secure way for duplicate accounts to not be made with the same email or train their workers to check for that. I somehow have multiple subscriptions with the same email made at the airport. I canceled one long ago and received an email confirmation of that. I was not charged twice so I would not have known it was a double subscription. I have not used the service again and that is why I canceled. Their customer member excuse was that they inform you of this at the airport in the clear lines. Which I have not used because I thought I already cancelled it. They attempted to charge me again after disputing the issue and my bank automatically blocked it because it was suspicious. They would not give a reimbursement because when I called it was past the 90 day initial subscription. They keep mentioning that policy but they have broken their own policy that you are initially charged for the membership. If I had two accounts with the subscription then I should have been charged twice to see that issue. I would have also seen two about signing up to my new account in my email but I am not seeing duplicates. It is no longer about the charge. It is about the fraudulent act that they could be making multiple accounts with the same email from the promoters in person. My account was charged before I cancelled. They reimbursed my family after a month but I was too late to see that I was not reimbursed.

      I have been trying for over a year to get verified on ******** because I am getting penalized for not being verified. I have been a ******** member for over 15 years. Have had the same phone number for the same time, with a contract where I get the bill on the plan at the end of each month and I pay on time, same phone company for 9 years, same email for over 15 years, Nexus card and all for over 10 years. No change in name either.But Clear can't verify me. No explanations, no way to know what the real issue is, let alone address the issue. Takes me through the phone number confirmation, then a selfie, and then it can't verify me. How??? I hear that it verifies only those who use specific phone companies. If that's the case, can't imagine why it's legal. If Clear is in the business of verification, it can't penalize those who don't use specific phone companies - that has nothing to do with verification.

      Minus stars terrible upsetting experience caused me and my wife to miss our flight 11/26 on allegiant airlines from FLL to ATW.We checked our bag an hour before departure time headed to CLEAR as long term members many years Only to be treated unprofessionally and rudely..I checked in with clear without incident, my wife wasnt so lucky after Many tries with eyes, fingers finally came up and low and behold there were 2accounts Under her name. The 2or 3 representatives there were unable to correct and put us thru.We asked for manager and that only delayed us more going thru all the motions again low and be told there are 2 accounts Again . (So apparently we are paying twice for my wife Unknown to us. )We asked for help as we are 2seniors paying xtra for the CLEAR EXPERIENCE.But NO Help this manager then told us to wait on this line next to their lanes. We waited 3or 4 people ahead. Unknown to us it was TSA LINE Which clear personal placed us. Once upto front of the line they TOLD US we had to go to general boarding line.This was now about 30 minutes plus delay. We asked for help from clear mgt only to be told we are on camera and can be arrested by ****When walking to general boarding line another manager gave us phone number to call and complain which I did while trying to get thru general boarding lineOur daughter was already on plane calling us saying plane boarding ending 2 minutes.Despite asking for help Several people let us get ahead in line. Missed plane to ***********..Horrible experience missed flight 800 + $ for 1way tickets delta airlines wife and I.CLEAR WAS RUDE UNPROFESSIONAL POOR CUSTOMER SERVICESHOULD BE SUED FOR BREACH OF CONTRACT AND DAMAGES.

      The Clear lines at many airports (****** is a huge problem) is longer than the precheck lines, you you effectively pay them for to wait longer. Don't waste your money!!! Sadly this service was wonderful for many years, but they've clearly cut their service back while adding more and more customers. What could go wrong??

      A CLEARME employee came up to me in line at ****************** in *******, ** on Sep 13Asked do I fly often. I said not really. He says I can skip the line by going to the kiosk. Said most people aren't aware of this. Proceeds to talk fast and hit answers on the screen "for me". Told me I wouldn't be charged. He asked for a credit card and told me it just for verification and I wouldn't be charged. I told him I didn't want to do it if it costs money. He said "No, and again it was for verification . A month later my card was charged $199.00

      I was approached by a gentleman who offered to help me clear security faster. I was told this would be a free trial. I was never notified that a membership fee would be billed to my account. Several weeks later $199 was billed to my account. I can't believe the airport allows these people to carry out their scandalous schemes on airport property. These people are scam artists eagerly awaiting their next victims. After reading all these complaints, I can't believe they have not been shut down yet. Why doesn't the government or the airport industry do something about it. I did contact them and demand a refund. Will update this post when/if I receive it. If I don't receive it, I will file a dispute with my cc company.
