      I would give them a 0 start, but that is not an option. I cancelled my subscription to their service in January 2023. They claimed they couldn't refund me the fee. I January of ****, they charged me an even larger subscription fee. The account was supposed to be closed. After only email conversations for a week, they claimed I still had an account open under an email I did not know. They refused to state what the email was. After leaving several negative reviews, a spokesperson by the name of ***** called me. She was terse and kept repeating the same security reasons line even though all my information provided was correct. Eventually, she hung up on me. Stay away from this company and do not purchase their product.

      Hello, thank you for message. Customer purchased ********************** and agreed to the terms of service since 10 January 2021. A reminder email is sent each year prior to the renewal as a courtesy only and our system confirms this was sent on January 3, **** 23:24 EST. The subscription renewed on January 10, **** 19:18 EST. Customer first contacted us requesting cancellation on January 11, **** 08:37 EST therefore their subscription expires on January 10, **** 19:18 EST as per terms and conditions agreed to by both parties. As the customer contacted us after the renewal took place, we are unable to provide a refund. For security reasons, it is necessary for customers to provide the correct email address and answer all security questions when discussing an account with us.

      I would give this company ZERO stars if that was an option! This is a fraudulent company operated by one man named ****** who apparently is the manager, tech support and CEO! I cancelled my service over a year ago and yet I was still charged for a premium subscription at a location I resided two years ago! It doesn't matter where you're actually located the premium service will be charged even without a device present! That's fraud and this company is the worst! Buyers beware DO NOT purchase the premium service with Canary or you will regret it!

      Hello, thank you for bringing this to our attention. To clarify, ****** is indeed a member of our tech support team but not a member of the management team. We have searched our system for a cancellation request from you but one was not found which is why your subscription renewed on September 18, 2023 11:39 EDT. We sent you a renewal reminder email 7 days prior to the renewal on September 11, 2023 00:50 EDT but we did not hear back from you. It seems you changed your physical address and created a separate location and moved your device to that new location instead of updating your current address.

      Terrible customer service. No notifcstion of cost increases and do not send notification of upcoming annual contract costs. Very basic service. Not worth the money.

Customer first contacted us requesting cancellation on November 24, 2023 09:12 EST therefore their subscription expires on November 24, **** 08:38 EST as per terms and conditions agreed to by both parties.

      I was happy with Canary, but their service stinks. I am getting a different security system in my entire house and wanted to cancel my Canary service and get a refund for the months of no use. Ive given them all the info except for the name of my first born child. They dont have any problem taking my money, but they make it impossible to cancel service. They have so many delays and questions that arent necessary. I dont recommend getting a Canary.

      I have tried on several occasions to cancel my subscription. I have emailed every email address I can find but only get auto generated responses. I don't seem to be able to find a phone number anywhere that works. I even tried to call the number on the BBB website (It is a medical alert device scam - ********* one two one). These folks need to be in a federal penitentiary for fraud and deceptive business practices...no wonder they are not accredited by the Better Business Bureau.

      Fraudulent and unethical company. Trick you into annual auto renew subscription, and do not send reminders about the renewal. I contacted customer service the very same day it auto renewed, they were rude and refused to cancel my service or help in any way. Camera constantly goes offline and is a piece of junk anyway. Stay away.

Customer first contacted us requesting cancellation on June 2, 2023 14:02 EDT. The customers subscription was terminated at their request on October 10, 2023 06:39 EDT as per terms and conditions agreed to by both parties.

      This company has refused to refund $****** to my account. They stated there was an auto renewal however I was never notified about the auto renewal or the price increase which doubled. The price went from $67 last year June 6, 2022 to ****** that they withdrew from my account without authorization on june 6., 2023. I have went to channel 6 news *** in ************. They will be interviewing me in reference to business scams. this will be aired in all the tri state area and hopefully will alert many customers new, old and perspective to STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. CANARY can not be reached by telephone. You leave messages and they dont respond. Only emails that are prompted and all the same!

The price you paid was $49.99 for 12 months of **************** On May 6th, 2022, you also took advantage of a 50% discount offer and you paid $68.76 which included your additional Canary device and sales tax. On March 6th, you subscription renewed and you paid $137.54 usd. The reason for this is not related to a price increase but the fact the 50% discount code you were receiving for the past 2 years expired. From time to time, Canary offer promotional discounts. If you are interested in reactivating your Canary subscription, please reach out to the Canary team directly and perhaps they are running a new promotion at the time.       Another story of not being refunded 3 days after the auto renewal period. This is a pathetic business practice. I haven't used the camera since May 2022 and have been paying for it this entire time. They can see the last time I connected a camera to the service and was only asking for this one year refunded. Their customer service doesnt care and wont try to work with you at all. They just care about the money and charging you. Shame on you Canary. Ill never use your product or service again

      Canary is the worst, I bought 10 camera 4 flex and 6 pro and had them ACTIVTED AT two houses.I pay the yearly subscription on all the cameras. After, two months of having the cameras the system went out and when it came back up, I notice my subscription was no longer on any of camera. I call canary customer service and they kept giving me the run around. They kept saying that a supervisor will call me back this was in Oct of 2022. After a Fews month of no answer I told them that I was going to report them to BBB, THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS LATER MY WHOLE ACCOUNT WAS BLOCK, AS OF TODAY I HAVE 10 CAMERA THAT I CANNOT PUT ONLINE BECAUSE OF MY ACCOUNT HAS BE BLOCK. OH, I FORGOR TO MENTION THAT THEY BLOCK ME FROM CALLING THEM TOO. THEY NEED TO BE SUED FOR THE WAY THEY HANDLER THERE ******** AND JUST TAKEN PEOPLE MONEY. I DONT WISH THIS ON ANYONE .DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM NO RIGHT AT ALL.
