    This company is a complete rip off! DO NOT BOOK with them! We paid $297 for 2 days / 3 people and due to bus issues were only able to ride the bus for a total of 30 minutes. We wasted over an hour waiting for a bus and ended up having to take an Uber, paying $50, just so we could get to our destination appointment in time when we had allowed plenty of time if the buses had been running! The bus was dirty and we were forced to sit up top in the freezing cold because the bottom level windows were so foggy you could not see any sites. This company is a complete scam!

    A TOTAL RIP-OFF! GOT WHIPLASH FROM DRIVER JERKING THE BUS!! NIGHT TOUR WAS A JOKE... DIDN'T GET TO SEE HARDLY ANY OF THE SIGHTS... WAS EITHER STOPPED IN GRIDLOCK OR FLYING THROUGH THE STREETS TO MAKE UP LOST TIME!!! NIGHT TOUR WAS SUPPOSED TO INCLUDE ENTERTAINMENT...WE GOT NOTHING!!! OTHER BUSES HAD CHARACTERS LEADING *******... WE GOT NOTHING!!! OTHER BUSES HAD LIGHTS AND DECORATIONS... WE GOT NOTHING!!! LAST YEAR WE SAID WE WOULDN'T DO IT AGAIN, BUT DECIDED ON ONE MORE TRY... WON'T MAKE THAT MISTAKE EVER AGAIN!!!

    *** TopView Sightseeing made misleading claims and provided a tour that was not in accordance with the Night Tour (******** Light tour) they advertised. The tour was supposed to include live entertainment via a tour guide, audio narration, and a designated route. They provided none of those items. We were sold tickets with the promise of a 15-minute wait. The actual wait was an hour and a half. They also refused to provide a refund in line. We boarded Bus 340 around 8 pm and embarked on a journey that can only be described as a tragic comedy in motion. The only entertainment our guide provided was that of a magician. The guide vanished before the bus departed. We didnt even realize there was a vanishing act until 15 minutes in, as there was no notification or communication. We banded together as passengers and found headphones for the built-in audio, only to find out the advertised audio narration was only an eclectic mix of music. Then, they added an unplanned route to the mix. We were told they were only permitted to stop at designated areas and would not let any passengers off the bus. This was a problem for a 2-hour bus ride with no bathroom. It was as if we were in the Twilight Zone, where the rules were made up, and the destinations didn't matter. I appreciate our friendship with our other kidnapped passengers, but *** never seen so many people so relieved to be off a bus. After we escaped, we sought solace from customer service, only to be met with a response colder than a snowman's embrace. Their response was verbatim: After carefully reviewing your request, we regret to inform you that, according to our refund policy, we do not provide refunds for issues such as the absence of a live guide, lack of narration with headphones, or deviations from the planned route.

    Scam. I would like to leave 0 stars. I wish I had read the BBB reviews prior to spending $884.00 on TopView bus tours for a 1-day pass in *** for 12/02/23. We were not able to ride any bus the entire day, this company is not organized and over sell tickets, then refuse to do what is right and reimburse you for the tickets you were not able to use. I was told tickets were final sale, no refunds for cancellations....I advised the rep we didn't cancel the tickets and tried to use their services to no success due to lack of space/oversold tickets. We waited over an hour and half at one stop and close to an hour at another. The rep at the first stop assured us his supervisor was sending an empty bus for the 40+ people in line (some were there over 2 hours). It's sad a company will not reimburse you for the money you spent on their business knowing they could not accommodate you. I called and emailed this business several times to come to a resolution, I was offered tickets for a cruise around Manhattan to use within a year, after I told the rep 3x on the same call I would not be in *** within the next year. They simply do not care for customers or about doing what is right.

    Absolutely awful. Worst experience ever had. The fact that the major or ************* lets this company operate is telling of the citys view of its guests. They just want to rip people off where and when ever possible.

    My mother and I paid for the evening Holiday Lights Tour with a host. Firstly there was no host and we were taken on a bus ride for the first half. A number of guests politely complained part way through and the driver explained he was given the wrong instructions from head office and he was trying to get us back on the holiday tour. He took us up 6th avenue, and with every stop in traffic, more and more upset guests got off the bus. Shortly after the drive up 6th Ave, the driver abruptly ended the tour. We only saw a few of the holiday lights that were advertised and when I wrote to customer service, they replied to say that all sales are final and offered me a free tour next year, which is not feasible as I will not be travelling to *** within the next year. What could have been a lovely experience was pretty awful and made worse by their terrible customer service.

    SCAM! Do not book with this company. Bought three 2 day hop on hop off tickets for $127.00 pp at ************ in ********. Were told bus comes every 20 mins. WRONG! Waited 1 hour after 1st stop and ended up taking an Uber. Next time waited 1 hour and 15 mins. Narration is terrible. Mostly bad music playing. No refunds whatsoever. They need to be shutdown!

    Do not book from this tour company! Purchased 2 tickets for a dinner cruise online because they offered a 40 % off deal. Only receiving one ticket just a few minutes after booking, I tried to contact their customer service line and was told since you booked online, we can only assume you booked for one person and not two (even though the amount charged on my account obviously reflects the price for two people)! When I asked to cancel since I'm cancelling the same day I booked the tickets and the cruise itself is not until after a few months from today, they told me I could cancel but they will charge me 85% of the total cost of what I paid for! Not to mention the customer rep ****** get her name) was extremely rude! If I could give this company a zero I would! Despite me being charged, I will not even bother to go on their cruise! I'm also not going to even bother disputing them at this point. However I will research and put this review out there in other platforms so that people will become aware of how this company operates!Please save your hard earn money and book elsewhere. (The dinner cruise was booked under Liberty Cruises which is operated by topview).

    DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY with TopView hop-on hop-off bus company! Many problems!! You'll find their reps at many intersections in midtown ***, and they will negotiate on price (NEVER PAY FULL PRICE!). That's the good news. Bad news is that they'll charge your credit card in excess of what they quote! For example, our rep quoted us $49/pp (for a one-day hop-on hop-off ticket for the downtown bus). There were four of us, so total credit card should have been $196. To our total surprise, the amount charged to our credit card was $276!!! Instead of $49/pp, they charged us $59/pp. On top of that, they charged us an additional $10/pp ($40 total), which was labeled a "FEE" on our credit card receipt and NEVER disclosed during the price negotiations. We still have no idea what this fee was for. We called customer service, and they could have cared less. Typical *** rude behavior and arrogance. No interest in customer satisfaction. Basically, they got their money, and that's all they cared about. Next problem with TopView bus company . . . waiting, waiting, and more waiting! First off, they don't have a daily quota for tickets, so they'll sell as many tickets as possible. However, there are only a limited number of buses. On more than one occasion during our hop-on hop-off day, we had seemingly endless wait times on the street to get a seat on a bus. For example, when the first bus arrived, there were only a few seats available, which went to those in front of us in line. We had to wait for the next bus. Guess what? When the second bus arrived, we had the same situation. We had to wait for a third bus before we were able to board. Our experience showed there was ~***** minutes between buses, which means we waited ***** min to finally board a bus. Totally unacceptable! Our advice . . . STAY AWAY FROM TOPVIEW BUS COMPANY.

    I purchased two tickets for the *************** bus tour in Manhattan. Due to the State of Emergency imposed by the Governor of ******** that day for excessive rain, flash floods, and dangerous driving conditions, we were physically unable to get into Manhattan as the railroads and subways were shut down. I was told that I would need to pay an additional rescheduling fee of 50% of the tickets. I stated that it was impossible to get into the city even if we wanted to. The company then offered to negotiate the rescheduling fee. I stated I was not paying a rescheduling fee due to the fact that I couldn't get into the city. I sent numerous emails and was completely ignored. THE WORST BUSINESS IN ***. Don't take any of their tours. It's one big SCAM. Do not, DO NOT, do business with them. CROOKS!!!!!
