      I was emailed a confirmation on the Military Discount after I applied for my father who is on my account . The customer service representative never said he had to be an account manager. She told me the steps to go through to apply, which I did and received a confirmation email that it was approved. Come to find out it was never applied to my account. Now I received information to apply again. Then a representative from the **** emailed and stated that he had to be a Manager on the account and then they could apply the discount. Since being a new customer with **********************, I have had nothing but issues with billing, taking too much money, not applying proper promotions, charging in correct amounts... it has been nothing but a mess and a bunch of miscommunications. I an very disappointed with them.

      Honestly, service for fios hasnt been that bad, but with trying to get in contact with customer service is a nightmare. Make sure to have at least an hour plus so you can get a case number that doesnt guarantee anything will be fixed. Its just sad that they all transfer you to different people and wont look up solutions and try to help. Verizon needs to either pay their customer service people enough so they start caring or just get a whole new team. Their robot is so bad at detecting what you are saying or what the problem could possibly be. Internet works fine, but make sure you dont have problems (which is impossible).

      They have no process for what to do when a customer dies unexpectedly and doesnt leave account passwords behind. My father suddenly and unexpectedly died in June and I have been working to get his Verizon Fios internet account turned off. I have also been trying to get them to tell me the total remaining bill and equipment that needs to be returned so I can close everything out.I am the executor of his estate and have all of the necessary paperwork to prove that. I have called multiple times but they will not tell me anything without a PIN number. They are the only company out of dozens that I have worked with for the estate that will not let me have access to the account with the legal estate paperwork and documentation. They have refused to work with me even after sending them the death certificate or let me speak to a manager directly.They are a nightmare for grieving families to deal with and have dragged this out for months, incurring more late fees that the estate will have to pay. Do your loved ones a favor and get a different internet provider.

      asked for a call back to set up a arrangement . was told it was set up and would reflect on my account in 20 mins . checked after 30 mins and it was not on there .asked for another call back and the arrangement was never set up . got transfered to financial services and they would not work with me . made me feel like they were calling me a liar when they are the ones that LIED to me

      I wanted to cancel my service. This should be a simple request. Yet, as I write this I'm still chatting with them after more than an hour. I think this is a plan to keep customers. Frustrate people, keeping them tied up with your customer service rep for so long the customer gives up.Awful, I will never do ********************** with them again.

      terrible service . I am locked out of my account and cannot contact any kind of help. It seems Verizon does not have 24 hour service. This happens to me at least 3 times a year.

      If I could give a zero I would. Let’s start back in June moved into my new home could not get service for almost two weeks. Stayed on the phone for hours at a time on various days. I also have Verizon ******** every time I try to chat for service your reps my chats are disconnected. I call and speak to someone who can not comprehend what I am saying. I am changing my home and ******** service at the beginning of the year.

      Went to upgrade with my app which told me $135 to do so, was concerned with monthly billing, called and spoke to ***************** They ran a credit check without my knowledge or my permission. Of course it was a person whom couldnt understand my question. Called back and spoke to someone else, thats when I was informed they ran a credit check WITHOUT PERMISSION!!

      Absolute Fraud! A Verizon Rep in ***************** was told specifically to keep the multi device insurance. We had 10 accounts already and was told to create a sub account to add a watch. When insurance was declined on the watch ******* cancelled all insurance on my 10 other devices and Verizon will not turn it back on. I have over $10,000 worth of uninsured devices now. No way to reach the store by phone. Hours of time and lost wages trying to rectify the situation. Twice it has been cancelled without authorization. They will not stand behind what an employee says. No accountability!
