      Cannot access my account due to being locked out and cannot reset because of not being able to contact someone by phone on Sunday. **************** is bad.

      Trying to leave Verizon is almost impossible. They keep hitting you up with charges upon charges upon charges. They just ate up what I "saved" by moving. When I reminded them I left 2 months ago, it didn't matter. It's pay up or let them ruin my credit. What a trashy scammy way to do business. I paid my **** in full the day I left. Oh, but this. Oh but that. They want twice what my usual monthly **** was in order to LEAVE. Is there a way to give minus star ratings?

      I have Tv, internet, and phone through verizon. I have had problems with my Tv for the past 2 months where the picture just freezes. i have been on the phone with cust. service 3 times so far for a total of almost 5 hrs on hold and resetting boxes, routers unplugging cables and unscrewing cables and each time i am told my system is now all set and everytime about an hour later it freezes again. so i told them to send a tech out to my house all the boxes and equipment are rented and all cables were installed by verizon and they tell me there might be a charge for the service call. Why? the tech will not come in the house unless i agree to pay for a service charge if there is one. So needless to say i will not agree to this and i will be cancelling verizon. I have had this trouble for months it takes minimum 20 minutes on hold before you get anyone to talk to and you go through the same thing each time and it does not fix it I pay almost $200 a month for terrible service and they do nothning to fix it. This company is terrible.

      I received my new Verizon **** via email today and learned my contract for internet, ********** expires this month and they will be charging me additional $15 in September, my **** is normally $190 plus change. At 10:30am I decided to do a live chat asking for the price of the same plan, plus they keep insisting I have 4 boxes, I only have 3 boxes & 3 tv. First rep was obnoxious and took 40 minutes to tell me I have 4 boxes and the new contact would be $268 per month..I hung up did some more browsing tried live chat aginthis time a nicer person..after about 1 hour he said he had a plan that actually had more channels, new router and updated boxes for $****** but couldn't do anything about boxes would have to send me to someone else..BY THIS TIME ITS NOW ABOUT 3:30 and getting no where..Get connected to 3rd person have to go thru everything all over again, again oh hold constantly.. this guy makes me give serial numbers of each box and then tells me one doesn't show up fir me, go back to box copy #again double check still says no good, then proceeds to tell me the offer for ****** has less channels than what I have I ended chat after a few words, call ended about 4;30pm and started at 10;30am A word to the wise STAY AWAY FROM VERIZON..ONE SCAM AFTER ANOTHER and I have been with them for 20 years

      I applied for an ACP and Lifeline discount. two months ago. I`ve been calling since June and there's always an excuse not to add on my discounts. They say they will call back and never do. How do you want happy customers if you make too many excuses and want them to pay so much on the ****.

      I called in June to notify Verizon that we are moving out of state and would like our service cancelled as of July 1st. We returned our equipment on July 2ns at 10am, as soon as the office opened and I have email confirmation. A week later receive notification of July ****. I spoke to a representative via their website who sent me email confirmation and assured me that I have no **** due for July nor any outstanding balance. A few days later I went on the account and it said 0 balance. Received a past due balance of $88 for July yesterday!!! Called Verizon and was told they reserve the right to disconnect my service whenever they want too, and whether they disconnect it or I they charge for the following month in advance regardless of when you returned the equipment and disconnected the service. They disconnected my service on July 3rd although I asked for the 1st. Now I am forced to pay $88 for 1 day of service. The representative was very nonchalant, I don't give a **** attituded. Stated I agreed to these terms when I signed up with them and I can go on their website and look at the agreement. Now i Have to pay just so they don't destroy my credit. Unreal. People are trying to make it back due to the pandemic and then you have giants like Verizon just ******** people over. Unbelievable

      I used to get internet service for about 15 years. through all this time I have never been late on a payment. you can check it yourself. 2 years ago, I have canceled it. your company send me a box and an *********** tag, so I sent it back to you, which I did. The abuse starts here, from that period on every month you send me a ****, now the total is more than $2000.00. I wrote, called and complain about it, but nobody answered. now you tried to rob me the above amount, mess up my credit, and write me a treat later every other day.

      Verizon scammed us by changing are contract with out Concent and its been over a week and no communication on there part about fixing it.

      The cancellation policy is abysmal. You have to talk to a support representative through their voice line only. Their hours are 8am-6pm Monday-Friday. For anyone that commutes, this leaves you with a very narrow window to make cancellation arrangements. Unless you talk and drive (while also reading/writing down information), which seems to be what Verizon encourages its members to do, at least the ones that won't be giving them money anymore.It feels very exploitative towards people that are not as flexible with their schedule. For all the workers with a surplus of time, or the ones that don't mind taking time out of the personal breaks throughout the day, maybe this is for you. I find it ridiculous that one of the larger monopolies in the world can't even extend its support hours for any reason other than making cancellations painful and time consuming.
