I started using Curex on May 25th of 2022, I was given a blood test which pointed that I tested positive for grey alder allergens only, I was then provided a treatment which was sublingual immunotherapy, the treatment is for (Pacific Northwest - Mite - Mold - Cockroach) of which I tested positive for none of those allergens so I have been in treatment since May and spent over $600 to which has been a complete waste. On 2/9/2023 I visited a ****** Permanente Allergy and Immunology Dr, I was told by this doctor the treatment I was provided by Curex is ineffective and makes no sense with the testing that I showed, I have year round allergies and the doctor informed me the testing that was done alone does not explain that. On 1/28/2023 I sent Curex a message stating I wanted to cancel my membership, 1/31/2023 I received a response back saying the message had been passed on to the clinical team, I have since tried calling them, emailing them texting back to no response at all. I am becoming increasingly concerned that I have been scammed by this company. I would like contact by this business and clarification about my ineffective treatment, my goal is to recover some of my wasted money and cancellation of this service.

    Re: ************************************************

Thank you for forwarding to us ******** concern.

We have reviewed his records and recent communications with us.

Attached please find his original prescription dated May 23, 2022 and imported communications with ********************* 28 - Feb  13, 2023.

In his message to Curex on 01/28/2023, ******* stated that he would like to cancel because he could no longer afford our prescription service:

How does it work if I'd like to cancel? I'm getting to a point where I can really afford Curex anymore and unfortunately the process to get it through the insurance seems really complicated I tried calling my insurance carrier but they didn't understand

In his message on 02/09/2023, ******* indicated that he got a second opinion from another doctor who believed that the prescription would be ineffective.

On 02/13/2023, Curex clinician *************************, NP, explained why his prescription included all of the ingredients that were prescribed.  Specifically, allergy immunotherapy prescriptions are based on test results AND medical history AND clinical consultation with the patient.

Subsequent to this response, ******* still wanted to cancel.  Curex cancelled his subscription and has made no charges on his account after December 28, 2022.

Unfortunately, we cannot refund Gabriels payments for the services already provided because they relate to prescription pharmacy transactions, which are not refundable (a prescription cannot be returned into the pharmacy after dispensation due to pharmacy regulations).

We believe we have answered all of ******** questions and canceled his subscription. It is unfortunate that sometimes medicine does not work for some patients and some patients may stop treatment before the benefits become apparent.

Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to resolve this unfortunate case.

    Thank you,
    Curex ****************

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[It seems that Curex ignored the fact several times that a third party Doctor reviewed my treatment and mentioned it was not consistent with what I was experiencing, I believe I was taken advantage of by this company]

In order for the BBB to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

    Sincerely,
