    I had the understanding that I could sign up for free. Not far in the process I was asked to pay $342. In order to go further. Then at another step I was asked to pay an additional amount. I thought perhaps I missed something, so I started over. I couldn't find what I paid for. It kept wanting a Domain name and or to get a domain name for $$ addition cost. I was so confused. I got out. After a few days looking at other possibilities on line I went back to Wix . I became so confused again with so many areas that had to be completed. I still couldn't find what I paid for. After a few more days of attempts I found a way to contact in an area to apply for my refund. They denied a refund complete and totally. I see how they make their money now. It's by withholding anything and everything that goes thru their system. I wasn't provided with anything that I can see to help me. This might be one of the most significant scammers on line. With such a coverage how can it be proven. I suggest if people want to use the Wix site DON'T pay for anything. I'm 73 yrs old caregiver to my disabled ******* Veteran husband. I've lost a chunk of income for absolutely nothing.

    Every time my business starts doing well. Wix ask me to verify getting paid. Then they hold the payment & each time keep changing how I can verify my account. This makes me look *********** to my clients. Then the agent is rude & short with me

    There is no working phone number on the wix site for customer service. I have a charge on my debit card that I need to contact someone about but no one is available by phone. Ill try the number on the bbb website again tomorrow during business hours. Anyone who is capable of accepting payments by credit card should by law have a phone number available to contact someone at the business.

    These people are horrible. I will be going down to the ************* and filing a false advertisement lawsuit. ****** is a scam, they hired a robot that does not work. It looks as if they pay people to make ******* vids etc. they need to be stopped. Horrible, ****************

    Wix is THE WORST COMPANY EVER!!! Their business ethics are nothing short of poor. I had a 5k paid to me through the app. on or around June *****. It posted payment successful June 21, 2023. I waoted for about a week for the payment to hit my account. It never did. After communicating with them via email and a call you must request through the site it got.me no where. They kept telling me I'd hear from the compliance team. Well, I didn't here from the compliance team about a date or time I would receive my payment until around the 5th of July after i posted a bad review on them. Warning people letting them know my experience. I was then sent an email that they couldn't verify my information and closed my payment account and would be holding my payment for 60 days. They also said that they are counting from July 4, 2023, which happen to be the day the review was written. So, today is July 18, 2023 and I still don't have my payment. I feel like it's a scam...** ***** **** ***** ** ** ***** **** * ***** **** **** * **** *** ****** **** * ***** **** * ***** So, be careful, if you don't you'll be sitting around waiting 6 most for your money to be released. And I'm sure it won't have interest I have abandoned *************** started back to collecting my monies, where the fees are cheaper and you don't have to wait 60 days to get monies you worked for. To bad you can't rate them a zero

    DON'T USE WIX! I had a premium business account that I ended up cancelling and going back to the free plan but instead they charged me and rejected my request for a refund. So essentially, I had to PAY FOR A FREE PLAN. What a joke

    July 5, 2023 was taken through a number of needless extraneous situations because my network server (Wix) erroneously did not withdraw money from account for services rendered; though the money was in the account. Wix has attempted to suggest I switch to the yearly premium plan which I did not prefer to presently select; however the pressure of needing a venue to sell my music and t-shirts from tomorrow and Friday, finalized my decision to choose that plan to obtain my open for business status once again with Wix.Not thinking that after purchasing that website for a year I would need to connect with the Wix server since they just cancelled my domain July 3, 2023. Nevertheless, there is a possibility that I shall need to spend more money than is needed.I hope your organization can intercede on my corporations behalf to offset Wix from suggesting more money is paid to establish a working environment within my website again.Best regards,********************* aka ******** C

    they are charging me for an upgrade $360 annually to update any "free"' site, no customer service when the url is going premium for the wrong site, I split into 3, since it wasn't allowing updates, and then it charges for all 3 and then won't update. no email, no phone number, no support, deleted email for help and info, no human just endless chatbot that loops and answers nothing, just asks repeatedly, I've spent thousands of dollars and hours and they hold your work and career ****** and hostage, just like a denial of service, but 'legal' ransomeware.

    I hired someone to work on my web site and she changed my service provider to Wix. When I tried to switch back, wix wanted to make me wait 2 months unless I purchased a premium plan. These people are absolute crooks. You don't want to spend money with them. They will tell you its a third party policy but the third party denies this.

    Ive been trying to close my account and its impossible. I continue to find ways to reach out but theres no customer service number, chat , or a way to connect. This company continues to charged my credit card and Ive reached out them as well. This has not been resolved and renewal is approaching for another year.
