    I couldnt leaves review without clicking a star review. I would give Wix zero stars. The worst customer service. Our customers have been unable to access our site for 10 days. Everything we talk to a rep, the file starts over again. We cannot speak to someone in the escalation department, email only. It takes hours for them to respond, and we only get half answers. We have been going back and forth for 10 days. We have an event coming up in a few days. We have lost sponsorship dollars. We have lost potential attendees because they cannot access our site. We cannot get volunteers because the site is down. We cannot sell event merchandise because our site is down. Our press release had not been picked up because the press cannot S or site. Very angry about this lack of customer service!!!

    I am writing to file a formal complaint against Wix.com regarding their billing practices and customer service. I have encountered a significant issue with an automatic payment charged to my account without prior notice, and despite cancelling the service immediately and requesting a refund, I have yet to receive any response or reimbursement from Wix.com. This lack of communication and failure to provide a resolution is deeply disappointing and reflects poorly on Wix.com's commitment to customer satisfaction. As a consumer, I feel misled and mistreated by Wix.com's billing practices and inadequate customer service.

    What the h*** happened to WIX? I have been a Wix customer for several years and operate 2 websites on Wix. One website, the one I am writing about, offers online courses which by the way are a feature available at all the pay levels for Wix. I purchased a Business website in April of 2023, with the renewal due on April 10 of 2024. I have been marketing my online courses since the 4th of March. 2 weeks to the day, I receive an email that says all participants of my online course have been denied access to the course until and unless I upgrade immediately to the new Premium plan. Mind you, I am not due for renewal until April 10, and ALL the paid plans include online course access. So basically, *** held me and my participants who paid for the course hostage until I upgraded. After more than a day of talking to 4 different "experts" and being told my situation was being elevated to the highest-level experts, ***** All I have gotten thus far is the run around. Let me also explain that I chose to upgrade since I was being held hostage. There was no other choice in plans, I either upgraded to the more expensive plan or nothing. To add insult to injury, I did not have the option to subscribe for another year.. nooooo.. I was forced to upgrade for 2 years. As much as I have demanded to speak to someone in authority or contact the corporate office at least in the U.S, ... crickets. Don't bother calling the 800 number posted here for Wix.. it's just one more dead end. I intend to file a formal complaint.

    I used Wix.com services to create a website. After a month or so I forgot all about it. One year later (today) I see that my credit card was charged a $350 renewal fee. I called customer service to cancel my account and for a refund, but they stated it will have to be reviewed by their billing team which may take 12 days. A quick ****** search revealed that Wix.com engages in practices to take advantage of people through the auto-renewal process and not reimburse their money. So now I'm waiting 12 days to review for a refund that is most likely going to be rejected. This company does not care about customer service.

    Everything was going great with the website. Loved it. Then came the payouts. The first one was flagged for High-Dollar. $12,900. The next two, $15,100 and $15,000 are now being held for "compliance reasons" with no clear reason as to why they're being held. It's been 10 days since the customer paid. I'm still getting the same generic emails, "the compliance team is working diligently to resolve this and will be in contact with you."The initial reason was because they were run back to back, as advised from Wix customer support to deal with the initial $20k transaction limit. I did as was advised, and now my payout is being held. I can't ship the product until I receive payment. So now I have a customer questioning the legitimacy of my business. Anyone have any luck with high-dollar payouts? What did you do to resolve it? Is there someone on the inside you can talk to? This is a lot of money to be holding onto with no explanation.

    Absolutely terrible.They advertise as a FREE web-site. Once you get in, it's a rabbit-hole of various paid options. Once you sort through that, it's AI produces a generic web-site with images that you can't change (I'm sure you can, but I couldn't figure it out). Their entire purpose is to lead you to other options where you need to pay subscriptions.When I chatted with them to cancel, they told me it would take 12 BUSINESS DAYS. In 2024, there is absolutely no reason that anything online should take 12 business days.Run. Do not walk. Run from Wix.

    Wix had good reviews in Jan 2023. Wix.com - 2 Year Jan 28, 2023 - Jan 28, ***** $67.80 then other charges Feb $192.00, as I did not use the account or make a blog, I thought things were done....I tried to find a human being to opt out, and could not find how to unsubscribe at that time. Suprise !! Then in Jan 2024 got a withdrawal from my bank for $384.00. I did not authorize anything. and filed for a dispute with my bank, and they just responded "Unfortunately, these charges were authorized, and the merchant completed the service requested, so we are unable to pursue recovery on your behalf. The provisional credit that was previously applied to your account will be adjusted. An amount of $384.00 will be reversed on 03/22/2024. You will have full use of the funds until the reversal. This notice serves as final resolution of your dispute." Well the folks at my local Bank will put a stop to it, and I finally logged into the Wix account "We suspended your account when you disputed the charge in Feb" I still have a small LLC for local work and sad that we got conned out of "$643.80" by Wix a big international corporation. No humans pick up on the phone and I have done a lot of business development in the US and even Internationally, and I will not be able to give them a single star. "Buyer Beware" Likely used as elder click bait :-) And if BBB finds a human contact at Wix that would refund any or all, would change to add a star or two. More shall be reveal. No one died and grateful for that , carry on!

    I have been a loyal customer of Wix for a number of years. I was recently charged $324.00 for a renewal. I missed cancelling my account by one day. **************** would only repeat their 'policy'. He said there was simply no other action that could be taken. I do not have this kind of money and was simply asking for a refund and asked for options - he had none and said there would be no refund. This company's policy takes no human decency approach and I will no longer recommend them.

    Im conflicted. Ive used Wix for e-commerce in the past and had no problems. I have another site, was approved for payouts, shipped items and to find out 3 days later they locked my funds and recommended me to not ship out items, but I already did.Generic email responses, no timeframes.It stinks because I really like the platform as its easy and has a lot to offer. Ill gladly change my review if we can get this worked out!
