    This coming is offering a product they are not supporting.. Wix charged our business for a two year subscription and did not publish our website. We ask for a refund and the refused. We feel Wix has defrauded us out of ******. We attempted several times to get help from Wix customer service, which is non existent, without success. Beware of this company as their business practices are legally questionable.

    This website wont let me close my account until my domain name expires in October 6th. I just wanted to close my account out and forget I ever used the website hosting platform. I will never use this website again.

    Wow. Im scrolling through and realizing that this company already has horrible reviews so mine is just another drop in a very very large bucket. Why is the BBB not doing anything about this if we know this company is a problem??Anyway, here is my experience, for what its worth. I bought TWO domains through Wix: ghostlygazette.org and ghostlygazette.com. I combined them and thought it would be a good idea to use these sites as a blog to discuss horror movies with fellow members and post reviews, etc. I admit, in retrospect, this was a horrible idea. One of the worst Ive ever had. After creating my site, I began posting and following the *** recommendations only to realize traffic to my site was virtually non-existent. So I watched some WIX videos and tried again. And again. And I tried to post movie reviews on other websites like Letterboxd that link back to my site. Now there are either one of two possibilities here for why my traffic is basically non-existent: one, my site isnt working right on Wix, or two, people are so terrified that going to my site might generate me money (even though I have no ads on it yet!) that they are avoiding it like it was a link to Death itself. Either way, with virtually no visitors coming into the site Im losing money on it. The site is completely useless to me. And I went to BBB to get my money back and was redirected to this review page where we can complain about it, which is like talking to a wall, because apparently the BBB is just sitting back and not doing a thing about it when they should be setting out lawsuits against these crooks and bringing them to justice.

    I did not renew my subscription to wix but I noticed money was taken from my credit card in the amount of $23.Why is it so difficult to cancel a subscription. I asked that my subscription be cancelled.Do not take any more money from my credit card and return the money you took out as soon as possible. Do not do any business with wix. They are fraudulent. Be warned!!!!This business do not deserve a star.

    Worst. I used wix many years ago and I recommended it to others but now it has become an upcharge nightmare with endless costs and demands to upgrade even though I already have upgraded to Primium Unlimited... the customer service tells me that since I have signed up, their packages have changed and now they dont offer the same things I signed up for and that their services are limited even though I have the premium unlimited subscription. I have spent so many days wasting my time trying to get things to work. I now would not recommend wix to anyone. It is an awful experience and I am unfortunately stuck with them.

    I received a charge on my business credit card and am quite sure its from an account setup by someone at my company who retired a few years ago. Any WIX access has been nil for years. I called the # on the descriptor to try to find out why I as charged. Phone is answered by a recording that says to go to the website wix.com/contact which I did. Was stuck in a circle of a bot that couldnt answer my questions. Finally figured out how to get a call back. Someone called me and said he had no access to help me so was going to send a link to my email from which I could resolve it. I never got an email (checked spam / nothing) so went back onto the site and got stuck in another circle. Will be disputing the charge with my credit card company.

    Do not purchase!!!! The accounting practices are terrible. You think you have canceled and then it's not. So basically I paid for a year that I am not using. There is several places that you have to cancel.

    The company does not allow you to close your account until your subscription ends and they don't allow you to cancel your subscription until it expires. I will have to remember to come back in year to close my account!!! Terrible service.

    I have had a WIX website for years. Somehow it got upgraded to premium. I spoke to a salesperson and said it was a mistake. I still got charged over 3 times the amount. I chatted with customer service. She said I would get a refund and sent me the steps to address it. I followed her direction but she closed the chat before I could finish and the refund was denied. I have $30 of overcharges and will have to find another website hosting site as customer service at WIX is horrible.
