      I signed up for an Annual WW(weight watchers) plan on 03/18/2025, that was to include dietary and meal support along with online clinician support and the promise of a weight loss drug. In the first 12 hours I downloaded all requested info, drivers license front and back, insurance card front and back, 10+ pages of current bloodwork, my PCP information **** requesting I get on prescription plan). WW then started my intake process and informed me I would wait no less than 30 days to see a clinician for an hr. Long one on one consultation. This timing was followed by their apology that they were dealing with/ staffing issues and were working on getting more people. The only long term success in their prescriptions and keeping off the weight, is in the support. Due to this, I cancelled within 24 hours of signing up. I called the number they provided to cancel **************, but they said I could not cancel, and would still have to fulfill my 1 year contract. They said I could leave a message at their clinic (24 hr. Reply time) or login into account to cancel, but regardless would be billed for my 12 month contract. I have spoken to no less than 5 people by phone, chat, or message all refusing my ability to cancel, when right in the contract (Section 3, E, (1)) it plainly says you may cancel within (3) days for a full refund. One WW customer service rep. **** said they have no refund/cancellation clause, and Im now seeing on BBB that WW looks to have a systemic and predatory subscription service. Further looking into the contract, they are promising almost nothing and reserving the right to change terms without notice etc. I have reached out to my ******************* and stopped/reversed their initial charge as they of course refused, and are telling me they will continue billing me. I hope this can also be elevated to the NY states level for investigation, as Im sure I am not alone here.

      I signed up for 1 yr, beginning 3/1/25. I was on the Clinical Wt Watchers program, seeking injections for weight loss for $189/month.I had many many many many many frustrating text messages ************ with my care team. I spent additional hours communicating with my drs office trying to get the info Wt Watchers was requesting. The responses from my care team coordinator were redundant, gaslighting, condescending, artificial, and useless. After a month, we are no closer to getting meds for me to start. I asked for a new care team. By this time Im so frustrated. My *** believes this is a cherry picking scam, which hes dealt with before. Meanwhile, Wt Watchers is saying they will continue to charge my credit card for another 11 months, while I get nothing.Wt Watchers also said I can change my plan. I assume this means I could possibly downgrade out of the Clinical program to a more traditional tracking & meeting plan. Ive spent another hour of my life Ill never get back trying to figure out how to do that. The only options they seem to offer are how to upgrade your plan. Im already at the top ********, I can no longer access my care team through the app.This is a complete SCAM. I have received nothing for my 1st months payment, except many many hours of my life LOST!!! And massive frustration!

      When I signed up for this I was under the assumption that it was an offer of $10 a month plus cost of medication and that I could cancel at anytime. I found I could not take the medication so I logged in and submitted a cancellation request. I received confirmation that it was canceled. Now Im being told that I signed up for a long term plan and it cannot be canceled. I have asked for proof but to my satisfaction have not seen anything to prove that. I have explained that I am on a fixed income and would have never agreed to such an outrageous amount.

      I remember seeing that I could cancel at anytime however I do not remember reading that I would still have to pay until such time that the membership ended  I actually dont remember seeing or reading anything regarding the duration of the membership  further more I was under the impression that I signed up for a membership at a promotional rate that was much smaller than $94 per month!! Again if that was clear I would never have agreed to that!

      I created an account to see the cost for both the membership and the GLP-1 medication. I was in a part of the screen that said checkout and when I click it to view the total cost it automatically signed me up for a full year contract. I never had a chance to review before accepting. I tried reaching out to WW and was on hold for over an hour then I was hung up on. Searched and searched trying to chat but couldnt find it until I downloaded the app 6 hours later. Chatting in speaking to a manager they told me theres nothing they can do and I have to pay for a full year of service Ill never use. I explained how deceptive the process was and how hard it was to get ahold of anyone to explain what happened. She told me they will no longer discuss what happened in. The conversation is over.

      As you see in the screenshot, the option after is checkout which gives the illusion you are going to a cart to review BEFORE proceeding with a purchase. This is not the case, you are committing and signing up at that point. There is zero review or chance to back out. I made an immediate effort (same day) to communicate this with the company 1) was never my intention to sign up for anything only to view the pricing for both medication and membership cost (which can very expensive) 2) the option checkout is very misleading. They are essentially trapping customers into long-term commitments in a deceptive way. At all levels (including manager) refused to rectify this situation knowing this is wrong.

      I signed up with weight watchers clinic seeking GLP 1 medication as well as dietary support on 3/24/25. At their website, it appeared that fee was $49 per month. I did not see the fine print. As it turns out it is only $49 first month and $74 thereafter. In addition, with their encouragement, I signed up with nutritional counseling. However, on this particular day, Our WiFi provider, ******** had outage which I found out on the day and was not able to connect. I did try to reach out, but due to this technical issue, I was not able to until I drove to ********* and let them know. Weight watchers changed me $99 for this. I explained to them what happened, however, they were completely unwilling to work with me. I expressed my issue with them and told them that I felt mislead, and wanted to cancel, however, their response was that I could cancel but they will continue to withdraw $74 per month for a year even though they will not be providing services. I feel that WW mislead me and not willing to work with their clients regarding the services . $74 does not include medication, nutritional counseling, nor medical review. They are billed separately to the insurance or one needs to pay out of pockets. I can receive the same services through my primary doctor without additional cost to me. If I have known this, I would have never signed up and especially knowing their unwillingness to work with a client for cancellation is really terrible as people often find out what program is about by experience.

      On March 11th 2025 I ******* ***** signed up for weight watchers semigutide program. My mom and I have researched this medication and believe it is the one for me so we went ahead with a 1 year commitment without doubt knowing that I would be happy with my medication of choice. Semiglutide is a widely used medication for weight loss its brand name is wegovy. There are a great number of clinics doing these same programs but I decided to go with weight watchers because it is a large name thinking it would be trustworthy. After going back and forth with weight watchers for a few days they said I was ineligible for the medication I signed up for and they could offer me something else to which I declined. They are not refunding the first month of medication or letting me out of the one year contract for $189 a month the price for semiglutide.

      I was already a member of weight watchers, but I decided to try their clinic as I wanted to try a weight loss medication and I kept seeing the ads. I thought I had purchased a plan to receive the medication and have access to a provider. After I paid for this subscription, I learned it was not for the medication, but rather a year subscription to the provider and whatever other services were on their website, but the medications were not covered by that. I would have to wait to see if my insurance covered them or pay the staggering price for them out of pocket. I live a very busy lifestyle, and so it took me a couple of weeks to do my research and really figure out that this was not going to be the right thing. At that point, I had not done anything with the provider. I had linked my insurance information, but no medication had been sent to me, and I never did a consultation. I asked via the app for cancellation on 3/26/2025. I was told via chat that they could not help me and I had to message the clinic provider for cancellation. I then messaged the clinic that I wanted to cancel my membership. I was seemingly able to cancel it online, but then when I got the chat message back, I was told that I was not eligible to cancel it. How can I not cancel something that I never even used?? They also tried to tell me I signed up back in February when I know for a fact I enrolled on 3/16/2025 based on the messages and data on my account and billing statement. Their website is deceptive and misleading. I did not know that the fees for joining the clinic did not cover the medication and it was not clear anywhere on the plan information that is was no refunds. They advertise join for 12 months and get a cheaper monthly price, but they don't tell you that there is a commitment with that and there is no way out. Now they refuse to refund my money and want to continue to charge me for something I have never used.

      I wanted to join weight watchers to have access to their new GLP-1. I thought I was signing up to check for insurance coverage. I was immediately charged. I then asked via the website for cancellation after not hearing from anyone for almost a week about a consultation. I was given the run around with no results. I messaged the clinic that and was told that I had to pay for 12 months still. Their website is deceptive and they are thieves. They refuse to refund my money and want to charge me for a plan I canceled.

      The initial fee at signup covers the consultation and first month of service. Before a consultation can be scheduled, members are required to upload their medical history. This allows the clinician to review the information and request any necessary additional details to ensure patient safety, especially if medication is being considered. Following the consulation, members receive e personalized treatment plan and once a medication is chosen, our team then verifies the memebrs insurance coverage for it.

      I initially and solely signed up with Weight Watchers to get more information in regards to the weight loss medication. The consultation call was $49. I had a consultation on January 22, 2025. During the call, I was told by the care member that due to an old medical history that I was not a good candidate for the medication. Now knowing that I could not take the weight loss medication, on January 26, 2025, I canceled my subscription knowing that I will not use this program due to the information I was given by the care member. I, also deleted the app from my phone and never went back into the account until I saw the charges. On March 23, 2025, I noticed a charge for $74 from weight watchers and went back into my bank account and noticed another charge back in February for $74. I contacted customer service on March 24, 2025, to find out why I was getting charged if I canceled that account. I was told I had to speak with the care member who did the consultation. I told them that I cancelled and would like a refund for the two months I was charged. She told me I could not get a refund due to the program I signed up for. Also, there is no way to just pay for a consultation which is the $49. They make you choose a package, I explained to them that due to the information I was given by the care member that I could not use the medication due to a past medical condition and I am not going to use their services. I canceled and should not pay over $800 for the entire year for a service I am not going to use and again based on the information I was given by the care member.

      I went the clinical part of the ww trying to gather information. I filled out the form. I picked the 12 month plan. Why? I dont know. I stopped at the part where they wanted a list of my meds. In the next few days my card was charged $129. So, it is a 12 month contract and they will continue to charge $129 for 11 more months. This will be a total of $1548. So, they charged me for medication I still havent received. At that time I hadnt even given them the list of medications, and havent had a video call with *** I contacted the clinical care team. I said that I wanted to cancel this. My pcp, and psychiatrist said that it would not be the right thing for me due to my medications. They will not cancel it. I feel duped. I want to cancel the clinical part of the charge, but still have the app. I feel like they were sneaky with application.
