Signed up for a free trial and canceled immediately. Was not what I was looking for. I have been charged Aug - November so far and was charged twice in August on the 28th and 31st. I have called the 800 number every month. It plays a recording and hangs up. The November charge was even higher than all the other months. So far I have been charged 5 months in unauthorized charges, cancel every month through the app and use the chat and no one has been able to help. On the chat they repeatedly tell me they do not see all the charges I see on my credit card. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR WW if you may ever need to cancel or need customer assistance.Business Response

I was charged over and over again; they reassured me all my accounts were canceled. The membership fee came out of my spouse's bank account and ******** the account and has done this multiple times. After months of being charged and lied to, I was finally able to cancel his account it today. Spent hundreds of dollars after being told I am canceling correctly. This was the Worst experience I have had with any business. It makes you feel fat and shameful and your relationship with food is really bad. I became so malnourished all of my vitamins were low. my hemoglobin iron was so low due to this limited diet I almost died and had to get 2 blood transfusions. I would give the utmost of advice to not use this diet program since I got very sick and was charged so much money and lied to over and over. **** percent bad and the worse experience ever.Business Response

I've been a LIFETIME member of WW since **** when I first reached goal and went to work for the company as a lecturer from 1983-1986 - Went back in 2011, joined as a member even though I didn't have to as Lifetime.. my membership number was still in the system! I worked for WW from 2012-2014 - as *******************, but my employee legal info is ********************************I'm around 5 pounds over goal and went to the local meeting in *********, but they had NO record of my being a Lifetime member! When I called customer service, they told me I'd have to buy a $20/month package, with 6 weeks of maintenance to get my "LIFETIME" status back...THAT'S NOT TRUE! LIfetime is for LIFE! I sent a detailed email to customer service requesting either they find my old ***************, or issue me a new one, but have not received any response. Perhaps a note from BBB would help! I signed up for an initial membership on May 1, 2022 @ $22.95 for 6 month trial As I was not using the program, I went on my WW online account and canceled the account in August to which I was given the choice of paying an Early Termination fee at that time or pay the remaining $22.95 for two months, which I agreed to. The site also said that since the membership was not up for two months and I was paying it; I could continue to use it (which I hadn't used it which is why I wanted to cancel) and was assured it would be closed at the end of my trial membership. Per Pay Pal, the 1st payment was May 1 so it should have ended October 1, which it did not; was continued to be billed Nov and Dec. Today I chatted with two people and they said that they would cancel the membership today but couldn't offer a refund because I didn't have a cancellation email. Believe me, I never received an email or information that I was to get an email when I cancelled it in August; was only told it would be cancelled at the end of the 6 month trial. I would like a refund of the past two months - total of $45.90. Thank you.Business Response

Oct. 26, 2022 I am being charged for a subscription to WW IntL Digital, however when I have tried to cancel my subscription, I am directed to the login page. When I log in, it states that I do not have an active subscription. I looked for ways to cancel but there are no contact numbers or email addresses and just states do you want to renew subscription. I thought that the account was closed due to inactivity, which is what I was hoping to do (close the account). However, I am being charged yet again for another month, with no ability to use the program or cancel (which is what I want to do). I feel that we are deliberately being placed in a trap that is taking our money with no means to cancel. I have used the account under two emails in the past (different subscription at different times) and when checking both emails, I get the same message-no active account but yet I am being charged.Business Response

We regret to hear this member had so much difficulty trying to cancel, but she was actually successful in canceling her membership on 11/11/22 and at that time the system prorated her last charge and issued a partial refund. As a courtesy we have refunded a full charge on top of that.

I cancelled the weight watchers app after the free trial. I have still been charged monthly since 2020!!!Business Response

We left two voicemails for the member and have sent an email explaining this was a 9 month membership with the first 3 months at $0 (this was not a free trial) and the following 6 months at $20.95 each. All our memberships are subscriptions and per the terms agreed to upon sign up, after the 9 months, it will continue billing monthly until canceled. Had the membership been canceled any time within the initial 9 months an Early Termination Fee of $39.95 would have been charged.

I'm trying to terminate my membership yet there is no contact number, email or person. When I search "contact" on their website there is no one to contact. When I search "cancel membership" nothing comes up. I thought my membership ended as it was for a set amount of months and when I signed into my login it asked if I wanted membership again. So I thought it ended in August at the end of the promotion. I'm noticing that they are still charging me monthly yet there is no way for me to turn off my account or end the membership because I can't contact anyone to do this. I originally signed up for a 6 month commitment of 3 months free 3 months paid. I cancelled in September through the app. I no longer had any access to the app or online tools. I understood I would have to pay for three months which would put october as the last month. I noticed a charge on my account from weight watchers called to reslove. Was informed because I didnt save the email of cancellation that there is no proof of cancellation. I explained that I understood but would like to make sure that it is cancelled and that I would like this month refunded. Today Nov 14th is the date that the charge posted. They are refusing to refund the amount. I am still unable to use the services that are provided . I would like a refund of the amount from today. I will also be contacting my credit card company and did inform the service rep that I would be contacting the BBB. It is only $24.79 but I should not have to pay for these services. I have been trying to cancel/view my membership status for several days now. The website keeps directing me to a sign up page when I log in. I believe my membership is still active as I did a live chat a month or two to see when my promotion period ended. I tried multiple ways to view my account details without any avail. I also attempted to call but remain on hold a very long time when I call. It seems like they are only after money as they keep directing me to a sign up page when I log in and wont allow me to even view the details of my account. Very frustrating.Business Response

I joined WW roughly 3 weeks ago. I am not happy with the plan so I was trying to cancel my membership. I was told I am contracted in for 6 months and I could cancel then! I am unhappy with their plan/service and do not want to nor should I have to continue to pay for 6 months. I dont mind having to pay for a month but I should have to pay beyond this.Business Response

The Terms agreed to upon sign up, say "While you may cancel your subscription at any time, cancellation will not go into effect until the end of your Commitment Plan." As a one-time courtesy, this member's account was canceled effective 11/9/22.
