      This company is the worst I have ever dealt with. When Quarles was bought out or merged with Superior Plus Energy I was hoping things would improve but sadly not the case. They do not follow through on scheduling deliveries or leak checks, They claim to send emails that we never receive.

      I called for propane when my tank was at 25 percent. I stayed proactive on getting propane before we ran out. The company never showed up. I called back multiple times, and talked to many people who promised that we were on the list and they would come.
      Finally, as it does, my propane ran out. I called and "Amanda" told me I basically should have called sooner.
      I would suggest that any people who move to this area not to pick this company. They are not helpful.

      We tried to get them to come out and fill our propane tank for three months. If you call, you'll be on hold for at least 30 mins. Once you do get on the phone with someone, they will transfer you from call center to call center. They don't reply to emails or the contact form on their website. We finally gave up and asked them to come pick up the tank so that we could switch to a different propane company. Again, they wouldn't respond. Finally, we had to get our lawyer to write a letter to them requesting it removed from the property and low and behold they were able to pick it up the next day. Now they've sent us a bill for picking up the tank. When I've tried to call them to dispute the bill, I'm again put on hold for eternity or don't receive a response at all. This company is incredibly frustrating to work with.

      This is the worst company. They sent techs out to ‘fix’ my elderly mother’s insert. When mom asked if she needed a new one, they told her no. Tech number 3 finally spent the time to find the problem and it ends up being that we need to get her a new insert. Meanwhile we’ve been using space heaters to keep my elderly parents warm and racking up the electric bill. They refuse to accept any responsibility for anything.

      We had an order for delivery by the VA scheduled for Thursday. Mid-day Thursday we were notified there was an issue with the driver and it would be delivered on Friday. By 3:30 on Friday it still had not been delivered, we were told “Don’t worry it will be there by the end of today”. We did not get a delivery on Friday. At this point down to 3-4% and not enough to run furnace and cook holiday dinner for family from out of town. Called after hours number and we were told we could get the delivery on Saturday for an additional $250 charge even though it was previously scheduled for the Thursday and Friday. It was not their concern. After a pointless back and forth with a CSR asked to speak to a manager and was told they will call back. Currently it is scheduled for Monday and they are still stating an expedited charge to now get it on Monday since they have a 7-10 day window. This is the type of service you get when your household has had service with a company for over 20 years, I would not recommend. Take your business elsewhere.I guess this is what happens when a large out of state company buys several local companies, customer service takes a backseat to the dollar. Quite sad!!

      Awful company! Does not care about their customers at all. Smelled gas in the house, called and made them aware and I let them know there’s someone in the house that uses oxygen. I also asked for a refill since the tank was now empty. They said they would send someone out immediately. Someone came, alright…to unhooked the tank. That’s it. Been without hot water for 5 days. Was just told today, after being told someone was coming out soon because we were marked as an emergency, that it would now take another 1-3 business days. I will be switching companies.

      12//10/24 The average gas price per gallon of propane in New Hampshire is 3.50a gallon
      Yet I'm being charged 5.769 a gallon

      As others have mentioned, Superior Plus Energy Services bought out the propane delivery company (Q******) in my area. Today I discovered they were trying to blatantly rip me off.
      My wife works from home. The dog started barking and a SPES propane truck pulled into the driveway. My wife texted me to ask if I had ordered a propane refill. I said no.
      She went out an met the driver as he was climbing down from the truck cab. My wife asked why he was there, and the driver indicated our account was on auto-refill. My wife assured the driver we never signed up for auto-refill, and that both our tanks were close-to or full. The driver understood and drove away. As my wife was texting me, a text arrived on my phone from SPES claiming that they delivered 133.7 gallons of propane to my tank #2. Hmmm....
      My wife called SPES earlier today, and SPES confirmed they hadn't delivered propane, and that our account had been moved to 'will call'. I wasn't satisfied, so I called to ask why we were placed on auto-fill without our consent. The answer I received was: "oh, don't worry, we moved your account to 'will call'." I asked how could they explain the text message I'd received that the driver had delivered 133.7 gallons to our tank #2. Similar answer: "Oh, don't worry about that sir, we didn't deliver any propane." I said, you didn't answer my question. Why did the driver send a confirmation that he delivered 133.7 gallons?? I submit, had my wife had not been home and stopped the driver, I'm willing to bet I would have been billed for 133.7 gallons of propane knowing full well our tank was already full. The bottom line is: Superior Plus Energy Services got caught trying to do to us, what they've likely done to hundreds of other customers. Bottom line is: Beware about unethical business tactics on the part of Superior Plus Energy Services.

      Canceled service yesterday because of bad service! We asked that they not let our tanks go under 50%, as we are on a fixed income. They would not listen. Yesterday they said they would call before picking up tanks. They came today, never called or even knocked on the door. If I hadn't heard the truck outside, I would never have known they took the tanks! There was approx. 79 gallons left in tanks at a cost of $290. We now have no heat or way of cooking til the new service company comes! DO NOT use this company as it is not the company that it use to be!

      They called to tell me I missed a payment. I was asking questions because they bought our other company. All she could do is overtalk me and tell me to go online and make a payment when I started talking again she hung up on me. Not looking forward to dealing with this company. First impressions!!
