      Half hour on hold! Missed the delivery appointment once already, refuses to let me contact my local branch directly, instead, have to call Canada? WTH. Waiting to BECOME a new customer. Not a good sign. Beware. Imagine the service if I actually become a customer? Wow. Very cruddy company.

      Sadly service is in the gutter now. I after almost a month of reaching out I was just told by someone per "Chris" that the company decided to raise minimum use fees and not notify anyone nor update contract to include the fees. The company increased fees over 100%. I was charged 75 then this year 180 while using more fuel. Looks like a classic company who has to fix the accounting balance from acquisitions and stealing money from customers.

      I have an past due balance with this company.

      I have tried to make payment arrangements to clear up this balance with two payments in November. My husband and I are struggling to keep our heads above water with our social security checks twice month.
      I have asked this company for a 100 gallon emergency delivery and have told them I will pay for it COD but they refuse to even talk to me and told me to contact Vermont Fuel Assistance before hanging up on me. Times are tough for us right now and I am quickly running out of propane. I will try to contact
      another company to make a COD drop of 100 gallons. What happened to customer assistance.

      I am done with this company. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because they gave me a pretty decent deal on the original tank installation. I have only used them for propane deliveries, with a small tank used for a fireplace insert. Originally was told all I needed to do was fill it once a year, and there'd be no ongoing charge to rent the tank. A while back, I got a service charge. After investigating, they told me it had to be once between Oct and Sept of the following year. So, I've made sure to have at least one fill-up in that time frame since. Now, suddenly I have a service charge, even though I filled it in March. I called them and was told - oh - yes - we changed the policy to a minimum # of gallons a year now. Thanks for telling me that before you charged me 90 bucks.... I know I use a relatively small amount of propane a year, but they charge nearly double what propane is going for at a given time. And the mystery fees that keep going up are very annoying as well. I'm now looking into one of the BBB Accredited (and highly rated) companies to switch to.

      Terrible customer service! They don't respond when they say they will. And when I did talk with someone, he tried to tell me our home used more energy to heat when we were on vacation because we weren't in it. This is even after we used our Nest to preset the lower temp, have a tankless water heater, and were not here to use our gas stove. If you have a choice, use another supplier.

      We had ******** Energy for years until they were bought by Superior a few years ago. Service deteriorated to the point that our oil tank nearly ran dry and my husband had to put 20 gallons of diesel in until the delivery came. Last year prices went through the roof, and I thought it was due to the worldwide oil shortages. But no - it turns out Superior charges $1-2 more than other local companies. Also, they timed their delivery to when the prices were maximum. Very unreliable and unethical company. We switched to ****** Oil who is reasonably priced, prompt and professional.

      Superior Plus is one of the most frustrating companies I have dealt with as a home owning adult. I have never felt that I am a valued customer by the larger company. The most recent frustration is their inclusion of a Fuel Recovery Fee on accounts. This new item on my bill came with no clear justification / explanation. I was also not responded to through their online customer service program on multiple occasions. Whenever I have called an office to talk to some, there is no good explanation for their decision making process or reasons for why I am paying significantly more each year.

      Forgot to turn my tanks back on after filling it. Feels zero remorse for leaving me without heat/stove/oven for over a year, and still making me wait another 4days to come turn them on and light the pilots. Awful customer service!

      My account was over charged $392 due to them reading the meter wrong & the money charged from my bank account due to me being on auto pay. I was told it was there mistake & a refund check would be sent back to me minus the correct bill. Then I was charged another $105 from my bank the next day. When I called again they said the $392 was being sent to me in a check which I still have not received. A week later I called again & was told it was put as a credit to my account which didnt make sense if they supposedly added the $392 as a credit on my account then why was another $105 charged to my bank. They have no answer for that, a month later I am still waiting on my refund check & every time I speak to someone I am told that it was already issued out or being reviewed to be issued. I have tried multiple times to speak to the suppose manager Peter but have not received a call back from him or have not been able to get this issue rectified. I have had a account with Osterman for almost 12yrs & never had a problem till the company got bought out. Very unprofessional & absolutely to clue on what they are doing. If you have another option for propane go with them.

      Terrible company. I signed up for their autopay 4 times and still get bills in the mail. They asked me to fill out a contract and FAX it back to them. I did it right away. I still got bills in the mail. I calked them again and got some weird bumbo jumbo about stuff I needed to do. I gave them what they asked for. I still got bills in the mail. I called them again and they assured me the problem with billing was finally fixed. I still got bills in the mail. I called them today and got their call message. The message repeated 3 times and then hung up on me. I called 3 more times and all 3 times the same thing happened. I got hung up on. I wish I could switch services, but they own my tank.
