      I scheduled a charter bus for over 40 people in August 2023. 2 days prior to the event (in late October 2023), I was told the bus was having mechanical difficulties and they could not accommodate my request. They would not work with me to use smaller vehicles to accommodate the group. I was told my payment (made in August 2023) would be refunded within 45 days. I never received the refund and my charter agent stopped responding to my emails and I could not get through on their customer service line. Will NEVER use again and would have given less than 1 star if it was allowed.

      We booked 3 buses for Nov. 15 well in advance. The pickup was for 4:30 p.m. and at 1 p.m. they called and said "we have a problem" and nothing else. It took almost another hour to figure out they supposedly told the drivers Dec. 15 rather than Nov. 15 so they couldn't do our trip. We had hardly any time to find a replacement and ended up having to pay double due to the last minute booking. They said they would refund us and gave us 10% off for a future booking. We definitely won't be using that coupon. It's now Dec. 4 and they still haven't processed the refund. I emailed about it and haven't heard back of when it will be refunded. Stay FAR, FAR, FAR away from this company. Pay more for someone else to have piece of mind. This is beyond unprofessional.

      I was a customer who had booked a bus/driver weeks before the event. The day before at 3:40 pm they called and said the bus is having mechanical problems and they would not be able to **************. I understand maintence and breakdowns, but to recieve the call that late the day before the event seemed to be very unprofessional. We ended up finding a different solution that actually saved us money, so it worked out better for us in the end. But it was handled very unprofessionally both with the delayed call and the conversation "rudeness" that the customer service lady had when I was asking for alternative options. I don't usually write a review, and I let it simmer for a few weeks so this isn't an impulsive review because I was mad. I will never plan to try to use this company for charter busses ever again.

      Worst experience of my chartering career. Booked 8 months in advance for 3 coaches in ****** and on to ***. Was to have been 7 days. First day? They cancelled one bus for an airport pick-up and dispatch offered no assistance. Second day, 2 of 3 busses cancelled with 50 minute notice. Dispatched outright lied and said they, their affiliate, double-book. Offered no assistance to move our 150 kids. A little digging I learned that US Coachways hadnt been paying their bills to these companies and they refused to work out trip.The buses that were sent were old and beat-up, and nowhere nears the quality inferred and promised. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY and their salesperson ****. The stress they caused us in not recoverable from, ever.I fired them day two and under the most stressful of situations, found dependable drivers to complete the trip, WITH NO ASSISTANCE OF US COACHWAYS.They have $38,000 of our money now that I will have to fight to get back. STAY AWAY!!

      I am a vendor providing services for US Coachways. This company refuses to pay their invoices and iqnore calls and emails. Their business practices are below standards. I stop doing business with this company a year ago, but I was promised things have changed and resumed providing services, sadly they have not changed. It is my recommendation that all vendors stay clear of US Coachways or request your payment upfront.

      Do not under any circumstances book with this company. I can't even believe that they still exist.I booked a charter bus on 8/28 for an event on 10/14. I was charged a deposit fee of $212.02 at the time of booking and was then charged the balance of $1,908.18 on 9/10 and was sent a booking confirmation.The company reached out to me on 10/11 (3 days before my event) canceling the charter with the same nonsense that others have mentioned about the bus being in for repairs. They said that I would receive a full refund. Today is 11/11 and I still have not received any refund and can't get any response from anyone. Hopefully, my credit card company can take care of this on my behalf.

      Horrible experience! They showed up late. Bus broke down. Took an hour to repair. Would not accommodate our requests to make up for lost time.

      My group trip ** to ** was devastated when the bus showed up over 45 minutes late. Then it got worse! The bus could not go full speed because it had a mechanical problem. The third problem was the 40 minutes the driver had to STOP COMPLETELY to fix the bus. Think US Coachways couldnt fail us more? OMG! they are aspiring to lower lows! Now we requested a closer drop off to attend our event before it ends and they are actually NOT COOPERATING to change the drop off! They claim they must honor the original plan which was never available because of the late arrival added to the broken bus they gave us.Im sitting on a bus hoping they see their way clear not to reduce my four hour plan to drive to ** into a joyride.Wish me luck! If they cannot change the drop off they should be liable to return the money with damages for having cost *********************************************************** ** that was critical for **. I will keep you posted.

      This seems to be a common theme but we reserved a charter only for it to be cancelled at the last minute, like so many other scenarios covered in the reviews for this company. 90 minutes before departure we were notified that the charter was cancelled because of mechanical problems with the bus and that there was nothing they could do. DO NOT use this company, and if already booked, make sure to have a back-up plan ready.

      We are a school which has chartered several buses for sports events. 3 out of 5 of these trips were cancelled very last minute, citing both mechanical issues and scheduling conflicts. The conflicting cancellation notifications came from different departments, leading us to believe that they were false and, likely, they were able to rebook the bus for more lucrative jobs. These buses were more than $2000 each. Further, we were left scrambling to try and find transportation for 50+/- student athletes.Very unreliable, very unprofessional.I wish I had checked with BBB before booking this company.There is no option for a 0 star rating, so we are forced to apply 1 star.
