  My walk in tub was installed on Nov. 17 ***** and when I used the next day there was a leak and a part came off. I have called the company they ordered the part but will not send anyone out to fix it I guess my next step will be to call my lawyer . I am not pleased at all with their response to my situation . When they are trying to sell the tub you have no trouble getting someone on the phone but now its like lose my number but no way am I done I am paying to much money for this tub to let it go at this.

  12-12-23 Today was AWESOME!!!....because of a father and son installation team who installed our new walk-in bath tub!!******, my soulmate wife needed a walk-in style tub, so we purchased a "Dignity model" from Independant Home.After we purchased the tub, I thought "what have we done???? Our old bath tub was a jacuzzi tub located upstairs in our master bathroom next to our bedroom. We also have a stair- lift chair that ****** uses that is installed in the stairway that leads up to our upstairs master bedroom!!!How in the world will the installers get our old tub out and the new one in which can't be cut up and weighs over 300+ lbs??The father and son installation team arrived with the new tub "on time" and instantly realized this install would be a real challenge!! The removal of the old tub was not the real challenge because it was light and they could cut it up to navigate down the stairs past the stair lift and outside.The new "walk-in tub" was too wide to fit through the three inside doorways that had to be navigated besides getting it up the stairs with the stair lift in the way!! So they made a 2x4 frame to get it over and past the stair lift. Next, they removed the three doors and widened one doorway. They rested the tub on plywood on our bed and cut a hole through the wall to move it finally into the bathroom! That hole was covered, but now provides access to the tub if ever needed in the future!! All the surroundings of the tub was finished and electrical, water and drain were connected. The tub was filled with hot water and the many functions of the controls were demonstrated. When the installers were done, they cleaned up all the debris and hauled away the old tub. I and my wife were really impressed with the installers **** and ****...they did a fantastic job!! I kept saying "WOW" over and over!!! Also, my wife and I were very impressed with *********************** who answered all our questions and gave us the confidence to move forward with the order!!

  My faucet was leaking. I called to independent home and they were straight forward about what I needed. The following weeks they made sure to send a replacement Faucet and had someone from their service team replace the necessary components.

  The company is very customer focused. I had a positive experience from beginning to end. I loved my salesperson and was glad that I moved forward on the day she came out to save the most money. Installation did a great job and finished the project in one day. I love my walk-in tub!Grace, G.

  ***************************, salesman, was wonderful. He was very knowledgeable about the walk in tub. He answered all my questions and concerns. I was on the fence about purchasing, but after hearing all the features and benefits, I was sold. I'm excited and can't wait to have it installed. ***********************

  Everyone I spoke with were awesome. **** arranged the appointment, ** showed up as scheduled and went over the tub and answered all of our questions, less than a week later the installers showed up and did a fantastic job. I have severe RA and those jets feel good on my back. I call it my therapeutic Hot Tub/Spa.

  Our salesman, *********************** was very friendly and answered all our questions. The installers, **** "The Tub Guy" and his mate were just the friendliest hardworking guys I've ever had in my home! The installation was impeccable. They worked clean and efficient and respected our home as if it was their own. We are so glad we didn't go with the 'other' guys! Thank you **** ********!

  The aggressive sales pitch promised, among other things, in-house installation. However, installation was done by a single third-party contractor who could barely move the tub about (tubs are heavy). He failed to correctly install the drain, and the tub was always left with standing water - a difficult situation when the door needs to open to leave the tub.We repeatedly attempted to reach the company but never got a call back. After repeated attempts and many weeks, the drain was never fixed.The tub itself was okay, but dimensions for the doorway were never disclosed and a heavier person cannot easily get into or out of the door.

  Fantastic salesperson and installers were THE BEST!! They had to troubleshoot our electric and also remove our old spa. They left our home immaculate. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND INDEPENDENT HOME!!!

  I have been doing research on the top four walk-in tub companies when an Independent Homes responded first to an information request on the internet. I assumed that it was one of the companies I had information on. I didnt, so just for the heck of it, I set up an appointment. ******* from Independent Home's was very pleasant to talk to and there was *******************. I went with Independent Home because they manufacture their walk in tubs, provide the installation, they provide all services, and have a lifetime warranty. Plus, the deciding factor was product quality and the price was around $15,000 cheaper than other companies. I felt so comfortable with the installation team. And I can't praise Independent ************** enough. I am very happy with the walkin tub experience.
