March 9th my credit card received a fraudulent charge 57.00
I never authorized this charge and have no communication from SOS SELF DEFENSE.
My credit card company rejected the payment. Regardless of this, this company is charging individuals from a free knife scam and should be shut down.

On Feb 4, 2024 I responded to a free offer for a knife from SOS Science of Skill....only had to pay $5 shipping. Today, Feb 18,2024 **************** Fraud ********** called me asking if I authorized a $57/Mo subscription charge from SOS, which I did not. They blocked the charge but I did some research and this hidden subscription fee is their mode of operation to con unsuspecting people out of money. I ordered steel river midnight stealth stiletto and baton flashlight on 1-31-2024. I received the products and they were in working condition. however I was charged 57.00 on 2-14 2024 for what I don't know...until l read these complaints about the subscription scams this company orchestrated. I have called the number they listed and left messages to refund my money multiple times.i received one e-mail that said they would contact me within one business day but have not heard back from them. I responded to an unsolicited email (of which I received multiple) for the “Free” offer for only the price of the postage.
When charged to the card there was no mention of a recurring fee.
The next month, I was charged $67 to an unknown company that was NOT the company that I paid the shipping cost to. While investigating the charge at the end of the month with my banking rep, another charge was made for $67 on the first day of the month again.
Upon further investigation, I found the name of the company that was taking the payment and called the listed number. It was to a voicemail that gave zero details and never returned a call.
This company is hiding behind other names and burying their charge for no services in their fine print of their “Free” offers.
Shady business practices at best.
