      We’ve been waiting on our sunroom sliding door to be complete for almost a year now. Nobody will let me talk to a supervisor or someone higher than customer service or sales representative. Every time they say they have my parts in the technician brings parts I didn’t even need.

      While I give the product 5 stars, I have to give service, communication, honesty and integrity a 1 star. Universal was paid upfront by the finance company and contract was signed in May, 2022. Windows were supposed to be installed and finished supposedly in 1 day in July, 2022. Without going into all the broken promises and damaged products, the windows were cut out and re-installed in Oct, 2022 when they received the replacements for the damaged products, the broken sash and screen. On the scheduled day of re-installation, Universal could not locate the replacement products, but they did re-install windows. I was told Universal would call and schedule when it was located. PAs usual, I had to contact them to know current disposition as no one updated us. Nov 15th apparently, "it arrived damaged" and has been reordered and it will be another 4 weeks. Again, we love product but uncertain whether it has been worth the drama. Needless to say, we will not be purchasing a new double front door from them!!

      Excellent professional service , a bit pricey but well worth it . Everything the salesman promised was true . I could not be happier.
      The installation went smoothly, the installers were very professional. The installation faster than I expected .

      If I could give negative stars I would. Horrible service, terrible product. I have more damage to my home thanks to universal. I wish I would never have considered them for my windows. Bad install, even the product they install doesn't hold up. Every window leaks, sweats, and is either warped or damaged. Run away from this company.

      Been a year with this project. Installers come, wrong size windows upstairs so they install basement windows. Basement windows start warping and can't get out of sash for cleaning. Call repair guy, orders frames, said bad material, bad install. Upstairs windows come in after several months, new installers come. New installers finish, trim and drywall damaged, get first rain and 5 of 15 windows are leaking rain inside house. Call repair guy. Repair guy shows up....sees the water intrusion, show him the trim damage and broken window install. He temporarily fixes water leak, says he wants to come back and reset windows so I don't have any further problems. Company calls to set appointment for broken window replacement. I express I want repair guy, wait 2 more weeks, they call back and confirm appointment, and the same crew that broke the window messed up trim and installed incorrectly show up to do the basement frames. Bad part is they tried to lie and say it was a different crew. Any how they"fix mis set windows" and try nailing trim back up they pushed out from setting window in to far. Meanwhile weather gets cold and windows frost and sweat up, so I show pictures and videos. I get" wow shouldn't be doing that" you'll have to call customer service again. Then they want to go downstairs and replace 5 of the 9 window frames. I was like no...not gonna happen. Not one thing has gone right since the start...bad thing is they want to keep coming back and make things worse. Originally I had 27 windows that weren't the best. Now I have 25 that leak, sweat, broke and warped. I was better off befor Universal showed up.

      Sadly the only reason this has become a "legal matter" is because I told your installation center to stop trying to schedule installs with me. That no one on your team wanted to discuss this matter or address the issues. All you wanted to do was schedule install of more product. Infact I believe my exact words were "if none wants to address the issues and make it right, then the next conversation would be with my attorney ". Sad that you operate your business like this. Also makes we wonder how many people you may have taken advantage of over the years that my not have any knowledge in construction or renovation. SAD

      Worst experience EVER with a contractor! Had an existing bay window replaced and they have completely butchered the outside of my house! Have had them back 3 times and the contractor has no clue how to fix it, not to mention his English gets worse the more we try to point out the poor installation. He is rude, and treats us like we don't know what we are talking about. We also stated that we did NOT want the same butcher back at our house and were told that he wouldn't be, but they lied and send him back anyway. Furthermore, he stated that they would have to remove the whole gutter in front to install the facia properly, which is not true. Why, so he can damage our new gutters like he did with the window installation? The soffit was dented and metal just poorly bent over with gaps EVERYWHERE! What kind of installer of windows doesn't have a break to properly bend metal in his arsenal of tools? Just plain fed up with trying to get this fixed properly! Should have went with Weather tight who did our siding even though they were more expensive! At least I know they would have done it right the first time! The outside of my house looked 100% better BEFORE this window replacement! I cringe every time I look at it! Worst workmanship I've ever seen!
