      18 months later and still not done. Workers high on the job and then climbing on ladders as confirmed by neighbors. Writing obscenities on our vegetables. 7 trips out and still not complete. Job done incorrectly. No longer have TV or internet. Broke new gutters on siding install. Ordered wrong materials twice. Worst company ever.

      A couple of years ago we had Universal Windows come out to replace our front windows. We were so happy with it, we decided to call them again to have a our back windows replaced. This second time has been one hassle after another going on for several months. When the installers came out in May with the new windows, they informed us that they would not have enough trim to finish and they had no idea when it would be in stock. We wrote a final check to pay for the windows even though they were not finished. Now it is August. We got a call that the trim was in, supposedly, and they wanted to schedule a time to come out. We scheduled a date in August. When the installers came out, they said they were there to replace a basement window! They had no trim with them. They said their order was for a basement window replacement. It is almost comical. The installers were nice and took pictures of the missing trim and said they'd get back to Universal. I called Universal and talked to a nice person who said that the operations department would call me back. This was about 10:00 this morning. Now is it 4:00 and I have not heard a word. So is anyone coming out again today? Do I waste my whole day waiting for someone to come? When are they coming back out? This is so frustrating. They certainly don't seem to care about their customers. What happened to good customer service.

      Complete nightmare to deal with. We understood having to wait for the long install scheduling due to Covid but the installer they sent was totally incompetent. The one day install took two days and even then it still wasn't done. The guy did a hack job. Missing screws, wrong screws, bent door handle, missing caulk, messy caulk, missing parts, glass falling out of the storm door, left a mess on our porch. The locks/door was not properly installed and we could not completely lock our back door so when the wind blew, the door opened. The glass in the back storm door repeatedly fell out.
      We spent over $10k on these doors and almost a year getting these problems handled. Any complaints my husband or I have made are met with boilerplate comments... 'we understand your frustration', 'these issues are covered under our lifetime warranty'. The company has shown no remorse, genuine sympathy or offered ways to make it up to us.
      Well you know, that's great that the company understands and has a warranty BUT I bought 4 quality doors to be properly installed in one day. I did not buy months and months of hassle and missed time off of work.
      We would have been better off installing the doors ourselves, and sure would have saved thousands of dollars and months of BS...

      PICK ANOTHER COMPANY
      Our experience has been horrible. we were quoted a 10-12 install timeframe from the date they obtained window measurements and its now been over 6 months with still no windows. We had to take a loan out and finance the window and have made 6+payments so far with nothing to show.
      There has been -0- leadership &/or basic customer service keeping me updated to the status of our purchase.

      The crew was great! UW is a ver my disappointing company. Ordered windows in March. Just received 5 out of 13. The others were the wrong size. The crew also came with the wrong finishes.
