I scheduled a free window quote, then upon discussing with my partner we decided to prioritize other things right now. I called to cancel the quote appointment. The man I spoke to was disrespectful and kept pressuring me to keep the appointment. I said multiple times that I still want to cancel and that he needs to respect my wishes and my boundaries. He would not stop. It was EXTREMELY unprofessional and turned me away completely from ever using this company for future projects.Universal Windows Direct

I just met with Jake from Universal Windows Direct. He was a super nice guy and very informative. I most appreciated that he was candid about a couple of windows, something that other sales men wouldn't say so that they could get a bigger sale. I already knew before meeting with him that I would be choosing a good energy efficient option, so he told me about all the positive outcomes I will see after they are installed. He was nicely detailed about both the products and the company he works for. When it came to pricing he was explanatory about all the available options. You can see that he truly likes the company he works for and that speaks volumes about the product and it's quality. I can't wait to get my new windows!!Universal Windows Direct

Jake was a wonderful sales man he explained everything about the windows how they are made all about the company he explained all about the super saver that is in between the glass for the thermal reinforcement.

I purchased a large bow window in October 2020. Due to manufacturing delays the window was installed in January 2021 within a year of the install we noticed that the window was dropping. The company came back out in April 2022 and said that the window needed to be re-ordered. Estimate was approximately 12 weeks at that time. In September 2022 I had yet to hear any updates on the replacement window and with the credit card promotion coming to an end and payment due in full to avoid interest charges. I contacted the company. After weeks of trying to figure out why we were still waiting on parts. The window was again re-ordered in November 2022 with additional weight time and no urgency at all from the company. There was obvious air flow during the cold winter months, which made this process even more frustrating. Again, there were multiple extensions in the anticipated arrival of the new install. Finally, the parts were in, and the new window was installed this May. However, after the window was put in, I was informed that the trim kit was not available. A new trim kit had to be ordered and that was another six weeks. Proximately six weeks later I received a call that the trim kit was in and someone was out within a week to install. However, all of the trim kit was not available and I am west still waiting for a window that was purchased in October 2020. I contacted the company today with questions which prompted more frustration and I was told that my frustrations were appreciate it yet my my questions cannot be answered. Extremely frustrated with the customer service with universal windows direct. With paying over $7000 for a single window, you would think there would be more attention to detail. Would not recommend this company to anyone.Universal Windows Direct

Terrible company, zero integrity, can not be trusted.
Multiple problems with our salesman. Either a liar, incompetent or both. Lied to about when financing would start, pricing mistakes on the original contract, window measurer hour late to an appointment after my wife left work early to work with their schedule.
Our salesman Ricky either didn’t count our windows right or straight up lied to us to close the sale. 3 windows he told us were included in the quote didn’t get replaced and now they want to charge $3,600 for three 12x16 windows. Thankfully we didn’t agree as they were trying to screw us again. Magically they came down to $2,500 which is still way over priced. Not the point anyway.
One of their employees, who come to find out was no longer with the company very shortly after we signed (likely due to incompetence/lies) made made a major mistake/lie and the company refuses to do anything about it. We never would have signed if we were quoted correctly. When things go wrong with this company, which they will, they will not make it right. I don’t have enough bad things to say about my experience with universal windows.
The area sales manager Jason can not be trusted either.
I talked to a lady named Shannon from customer service on the phone who I feel like slipped and implied that if the salesman had put the three windows in the original contract then the price would have been lower than what they are offering to complete the project now.Universal Windows Direct

Great service! From the sale with Jake at the beginning all the way to the install today with I believe Dale? And a couple other fantastic guys! Very clean and got installed in a fraction of time! I am a homeowner who is also a single woman. I recently called Universal windows direct to schedule an appointment for an estimate. The company agent who answered my call assumed that I am married; ask if my husband would present at the time of the appointment, and when I stated that I am unmarried, they proceeded to ask about my significant other and borderline demanded that a man be present in order to help me make a decision. I am a homeowner that cannot get an appointment for window replacement because I’m not in a marital /?partner relationship. Is this really possible in 2023? I posted a review on this company’s site and it was deleted. How can I get the word out about this issue and change this situation for all of us single, woman homeowners? The sales person spoke English. I Purchased the windows. First windows were measured wrong. Waited another month and the new windows came in. They sent two installers that could not speak English. There was a problem and of course they couldn’t tell me what the problem was. When I asked a question, I received a shoulder shrug. They spent 3/4 of the day and I could not communicate at all. I called and Apparently Universal Windows Direct thinks that’s OK. As a customer, I would not use them again. We are in the United States. English is the language of choice.Universal Windows Direct
