No options for negative stars. I won a bid on a $593 MSRP U-Shaped sectional couch, which is described as a 3-boxes shipment, for $470 (80% retail price). Had a hard time finding the items, with little to no help from staff, and of course the most rude and unprofessional customer service staff (should have known better not to ask by their look) I have ever came across. Asked them why I was getting the box 3/3 and the response was "says open box, sorry. Next..." To my absolute awe.The item description (open box) does not mention missing boxes nor does it specify which of the 3 boxes you get. Which leads to the assumption that you're getting a full item, reason for the higher bids.Of course the signed off and did not want to record my missing items. Proceeded to say "sorry for your luck". The website says "***REPORT YOUR MISSING ITEM TO THE REMOVAL STAFF AT THE WAREHOUSE*** They will mark your item as missing in the system. You should receive an email about the items being marked as missing once it's submitted. Make sure you receive that before leaving the location. Do not leave the warehouse without reporting your missing item to the removal staff. The Support Team cannot issue refunds for missing items not verified by the warehouse staff.".She did not want to hear my concerns, and of course not wanting to bring attention to myself, I quietly left. No managers to talk to or anything. This is a shady business, with shady practices, shady staff, no toilets, more like a well organized scam machine. I would never recommend this to my enemy. I learned my lesson In fact, I'd like to report this business instead.BEWARE OF BEING SCAMMED OUT OF YOUR HARD EARNED DIME!!!

The fees and item description definitions are posted on every auction as it's running and in the auction terms that are required to be agreed to in order to receive a bidder number.
We always recommend reading through those and getting familiar with the terms before you begin bidding.

Poor customer service...I'm an active duty soldier and wasn't able to pick up my items due to being on duty. And they are not open on the weekends. I reached out to let them know and received an email basically saying "oh well, your lost! " Pick up your items by the deadline. We will not give refunds! That's poor customer service. Especially if I can't pick them up and they are re-auctioning them. So they are getting double their money and I get screwed. I'll think twice again about using the auction. I would rather pay for shipping and be done.

The warehouses are on strict inbound and removal schedules and do not hold anything beyond their posted removal days.
Removal dates are stated on every auction as it’s running and also on the receipts you receive once it’s charged out. They are not a surprise and we always recommend paying attention to them so you can plan your schedule around picking up.
We cannot issue refunds for items not picked up on time.
The First line in our Auction Terms reads “This is an ONLINE ONLY AUCTION PLEASE DO NOT BID IF YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO PICK UP YOUR ITEMS during the scheduled removal times NO refunds or chargeback will be granted due to a lack of removal at the designated times. After the scheduled removal, items will be considered abandoned and you will be charged a removal fee for disposal of your items”
It takes a significant amount of time, money and man-power to re-lot items that have not been picked up. The item must be pulled, re-lotted, placed into another auction, re-posted, re-sold, re-staged and picked up. We actually lose money on items that have to be re-lotted. While we are not charging re-stocking fees to bidders who miss removal, we are not refunding the items.

I bought a large safe and paid nearly retail on it being a "open box". Everything evidently was in the box EXCEPT the paperwork, codes and keys are all locked up in the safe and it is completely unopenable. A complete rip off. Their excuse is that I was suppose to come to the warehouse, lay in the floor of their active ware house, drag around a safe box somewhere and totally destroy the box and pull it out and go through everything and just leave it laying there I guess. Most decent folks would just tell you, this is just a piece of worthless, unusable junk. Suckers beware.

      CUSTOMER RESPONSE

In response to all the below blather concerning why its my fault that these people are selling worthless junk.1. Ya'll took my money before I could inspect it there 2. I asked the ware house guy there something to the effect, "can i just come in here and drag a large safe out into somewhere in this ware house and then start cutting off all the tape and shrinkwrap and then take this item out of the box and then possibly destroy the box searching for a key or something wrote on the inside of the box concerning how to open the safe? And then if I determind after destroying this box are you people going to but the box back together, retape it and re shrink wrap it and give me my money back if it is a worthless, unopenable, piece of junk (like it is)? And of course the answer was NO and NO and No refund. Even if I spend the money to get this safe open, who knows if the paper work, keys or codes or are in the inside. Furthermore, they or no one else can even provide any manufacturer information as this company has no representatives in the US. It doesn't matter who got ripped off on this, anyone would be ****** off b y such crappy auctions selling worthless junk. This item isnt one of your "pallet deals" where someone can come in there and look at the junk that is shrinkwrapped and included on the pallet. Of course there also, they arent going to let you cut the shrinkwrap, pull the junk out, open those boxes and see if that junk works... either. But in this case I am bidding and spending nearly $200 on what should be a functional item, maybe has a scratch or dent or a weird color or something. Not a completely worthless pile of junk that you want to blame the customer on over bogus reasons such as that I might have done something to it or "I could come down there and inspect it." I asked one SIMPLE question before I got ripped off by you worthless junk dealers: Can I return this item if the item is locked up and inaccessible. Anyone would be PO'ed.

Our goal is for everyone to have an enjoyable experience using our website and to get some great deals as well. In order to do that, you will want to familiarize yourself with our item descriptions and how items are lotted. We deal in secondary market items. Secondary market means, these could come from customer returns, overstock, shelf pulls or display/floor models. We have no way of knowing if a customer used the item prior to returning the item or if the supplier simply had too many and sold them to us as overstock. We state clearly in writing throughout the website, the terms and conditions and even signs in our warehouses that we do not test items, we do not assemble items, and we dont verify part lists to confirm completeness. We use 6 different kinds of descriptions when lotting items:Brand New, Appears New, Open Box, please Use Preview, Unverified Condition and Damaged. The following are the definitions for each that are posted in the terms of our auctions: Condition of Brand New: Brand New items are new and unused merchandise. It may not be in its original packaging. They should perform as expected. If you pick up your item and it is not new, or does not work, you can return that item before you leave the pickup location. These items are guaranteed for functionality and completeness. A bidder must examine the item thoroughly when picking up. If the item is not brand new the bidder MUST report this at the warehouse prior to leaving the premises. Once the bidder has left the premises with the item, BidFTA.com cannot issue any refund for issues arising with the item Condition notation of "Appears new": these are items that appear to be in a new condition or have never been used previously. These items are not tested for functionality or completeness -for items that are marked "appears new" a bidder must examine the item thoroughly when picking up. If the item does not appear new or unused or if there is an issue, the bidder MUST report this to the removal staff. prior to leaving the premises. Once the bidder has left the premises with the item, BidFTA.com cannot issue any refund for issues arising with the item. Keep in mind that an item can be listed as Appears New and still be incomplete if the parts available are in Appears New condition. Condition Notation of "Open Box" "Please Use Preview" or "Unverified Condition": Items marked "Open Box" "Please Use Preview" or "Unverified Condition" indicate that they could come from a multitude of circumstances - shelf pulls, overstock, returns. These items could be incomplete and have not been tested for functionality. Taking advantage of the listed inspection days is strongly recommended for these items. BidFTA.com. cannot issue refunds on these items if there are issues arising. Condition notation of "Damaged": Items marked "Damaged" could be new or used, but are noted to have certain damage. If possible, items will have secondary photos that display the damage, but are not still not tested for completeness and functionality and could have more damage than found upon being inventoried by BidFTA.com. BidFTA.com. cannot issue refunds on these items. Being familiar with these terms is very important as to how the items condition is assessed. They are also important to know because they tell whether or not your item can be refunded. You'll want to inspect all of your items prior to leaving the warehouse. Plug them in, take them out of the boxes, see how they work. If they are lotted as "Brand New or Appears new" and there are any issues, you can discuss a refund with the removal staff at that time. However, if they are lotted as "Open Box", "Please Use Preview", Unverified Condition or "Damaged" and once they've left the premises, they are no longer eligible for a refund. We always recommend doing a little homework online for larger purchases. Double check to see how many boxes the item should be in. That way you'll know if your item is complete or not. An item can be listed as Appears New and still be incomplete if the parts available are in Appears New condition. All of these terms are posted in every auction and must be agreed to in order to place a bid. I would recommend contacting the manufacturer and they should be able to assist you with how to retrieve a combination for your item.

Been a customer of BidFTA for 1 1/2 years and recently bought something from Georgetown,Ky location. I have always been able to pick up my stuff for 4 days. They recently changed the Georgetown location pickup dates to 3 days with no warning or email notification. So they wouldn’t give me my stuff I paid for and didn’t care because the lady kept saying 3 days. I feel like they robbed me of my money and will never go back to the Georgetown location

Multiple emails were sent out, it was announced on our social media sites and a banner was posted on the website advising our bidders that certain locations are moving to a 3 day removal. We did everything we could to let the bidders know of the change. The removal days are listed in every auction as it's running and are also posted on the receipts you receive when you win an item. You always want to be aware of the removal days when bidding. The warehouses do not hold anything beyond the posted removal days.

Our pallets are non-refundable. This is posted several times in different parts of the website and on the pallet listings. We always recommend taking advantage of the inspection days and times to go to the warehouses and preview any items you are interested in. While you cannot open the pallets, you can get a good idea of what is in it when you see it in person.

I've been a loyal customer to Bidfta ****** for quite some time. Usually they are polite&help out.But to my surprise in my last visit on 9/28.As I casually collected all my items and headed to leave. I passed by staff members just standing in the checkout area. I proceeded to inspect all SIX Items I had for any damage, in to which 2 of my items were severely damaged (1 electric desk was split in half through all 4 boards & 1 broken lamp)(side note: both ones 'APPEAR NEW') After inspection, one of the staff members that were leisurely standing by comes up to me and says 'your not allowed to return anything after inspection, you should've checked out first !He waited for me to inspect all SIX items before he came and told me that! I told him you're both standing there, why didn't you inform me before I went through all my items ?!? He just shrugged his shoulders & left.I asked to speak to the so called 'Manager' named Andreas, so he comes along after 15 mins of me just standing & waiting. He says sorry there's nothing we can do. I told him 'Andreas, I was here just last week, and you checked me out AFTER I had inspected my items, why didn't you inform me then that this is not allowed and that these are not your policies?? He also shrugged his shoulders and says to me 'OOPS my mistake and you have to take it with you don't leave it here'. I tried explaining to him for 15 minutes to please give me a pass as I was going to get home and throw it directly into the trash bc he saw how broken in half all the boards were. He wouldn't accept whatsoever. So having paid 50$ for a broken desk that 'Appears New' & a 15$ totally bent lamp 'Appears New' that I had to take home to throw in the trash. All because I inspected my items before checkout and 2 members just stood watching me without telling me and bc of oops a mistake from the 'manager' and neither one even bothered himself to just call out and say ma'am that's not allowed. That is so low of them and they purposely did it.

All bidders are advised and welcome to inspect their items before they leave the locations. When inspecting items, it is asked that you do so after check out and in the testing areas. This eliminates any traffic flow or theft issues with boxes being opened in the areas of the warehouses where the auctions are staged. This is posted on signs at the warehouses.

This rating is strictly for handicapped friendly business. Id give it a negative if I could. Ills so cluttered most of the time you cant walk down them. If you happen to find someone to ask to help you, one youll be lucky if they understand you, two youll be lucky if they will help you. Most will tell you there not allowed to help you.

If you are a bidder of ours with a disability and are having issues navigating the warehouses in order to find your items, please go to the removal staff (where you check out) and let them know you need assistance and they will be able to find someone who can assist you. There are many different staff members in our warehouses with many different roles- some for assisting bidders and some for loading and unloading the auctions. If you come across anyone where there may be a language barrier, they will usually find someone who can assist you.

Hoping I can help at least one person before they bid. We were in KY. My daughter talked about this online auction. We went online, bidded on some stuff, quite a few things actually. First being a shelf, sink, steamer, cabinets, faucet handles. A total of 20 items, out of that six were completely broken, not working with all parts there and/or shattered. Example we opened up the fan, all components were there. We got home, and my electrician husband went to install. It wouldn't turn on. He took it down and unscrewed to look inside. There was a wire cut. $56 down the drain. Second item was Rigid shop vac. I turned on to vacuum around home. Smell of rubber filled the air as well as overheating. It wasn't on for a minute. Again husband unscrewed the rop and motor was cracked. $36 wasted. Same trip picked up 5 shelf cabinet said Brand New. Opened it at home since IT SAID BRAND NEW. There was a ladder inside, waste of $54. All said either Brand New or appears new. All in all, I lost $206. If you are getting big items, I know it's super hard to open all but please do it.. Take your own dolly, box cutter and one or two helpers. Open ALL packing there, leave empty boxes there. Once you take it home you cannot return. I also don't want to get their spiel "We use 6 different kinds of descriptions when lotting items: Brand New, Appears New, Open Box, please Use Preview, Unverified Condition and Damaged" sick to my stomach for these hard working individuals. Hope they are all shut down!

We do not believe that this is for our location as there are several other locations closer to this individual. We cannot find any auction info for our location. We are an online auction that deals with reverse logistics that come from a wide array of conditions and if a brand new or appears new item is inspected prior to leaving and is not in the condition it was graded as- the customer is able to take the item(s) to customer service prior to leaving for a full refund, If an item is graded open box or preview- these items are given 7 days a week to be inspected prior to bidding. If all the rules and policies are followed, people can get amazing deals on items below retail. We have a testing station set up for access to all customers to inspect any electronic/powered item.

BidFTA seems to have a good working premise to purchase returned, broken, overstock, unwanted, half items, subpar, expired, and all other varieties of goods, to then resell online. There is a great difference to how the item is described as to how it is received. Most of the items are broken in some way or used and many can be fixed. However there will likely be an item eventually that will be a breaking point to further purchases. Arriving at their warehouses and for hours scouring stickers and isles to find your one piece over and over loses its allure quickly. After hours of searching, then packing your vehicle the last thing youre wanting to do is stay any longer than you must. The item that finally made this business model obsolete as a consumer was drebeats earphones, looking as though they were just a return they were in every way broken, literally the ends of the earphones ripped off, just like me, ripped off for buying them. They were useless, dirty, broken beyond repair, missing the charging cord, and do not turn on. Their serial number void. The cost was almost 100 bucks for nothing. If selling electronics it would be thought the item was in working order as a minimum or else whats the point of even selling it? The point in this case and many cases is that eventually in this business model you as a consumer will get ripped off period, it will only be a matter of time. I did bring this to the attention of their contact forum and they said, yea we sell junk, and broken junk, oh well basically, no refunds no credit. My only issue is spent money for zero service or working product. Do not trust their descriptions or products or them as a company, save your money for actual working products from a company that holds its products accountable to work, or have some value. This company has zero standards for what it sells, putting all consumers at risk both in being ripped off but also in seriously defect products and probability for accidents resulting.
