Our goal is for everyone to have an enjoyable experience using our website and to get some great deals as well. In order to do that, you will want to familiarize yourself with our item descriptions and how items are lotted. We deal in secondary market items. Secondary market means, these could come from customer returns, overstock, shelf pulls or display/floor models. We state clearly in writing throughout the website, the terms and conditions and even signs in our warehouses that we do not test items, we do not assemble items, and we dont verify part lists to confirm completeness. We use 5 item classifications to describe the items listed on our website: Brand New: Item is complete and in original packaging. Brand New items often originate from shelf pulls or overstock. Good Condition: Item is free of major damage or defects. The item may or may not be in the original packaging, packaging may be less than perfect, hardware may be missing, or product may have been opened previously. Minor scrapes, scuffs, chips, or dents may be present. Good Condition items often originate from customer returns, shelf pulls, overstock, or in-store display units. Working Condition Verified: Item has been turned on and appears to have power. This grade is typically reserved for liquidated restaurant equipment, high value electronics, or high value appliances. Working Condition Verified items often originate from customer returns, restaurant *********************** or business closings. As Is: Item has not been thoroughly inspected. Item could show signs of use, could be incomplete, or could have obvious damage or defects. There are no guarantees to the condition, quality, or functionality of As Is items. Although we have made our best attempt to accurately identify and describe the item, please be aware the actual item specifics such as brand, size, color, or model number may differ from the auction listing. As Is items often originate from customer returns, shelf pulls, refurbished goods, or store liquidations. Preview for Condition: Please visit the auction location during the designated preview times to personally inspect this item before bidding. This item could have unique specifications, patterns, or wood grains that are difficult to capture in photos. Item may have been used or have defects. Preview for Condition items often originate from restaurant liquidations, customer returns, overstock, store ***********************, shelf pulls, store displays, or refurbished goods. Refund Policy: All sales are final. No refunds, partial refunds, returns, or exchanges will be considered unless the item has been misidentified, or product condition is incorrect. It is the bidders responsibility to understand the defined product conditions and to thoroughly read all product descriptions and notes before bidding. Sometimes, despite our best efforts, we may inadvertently misidentify or mis-condition an item. Should you discover an error in the identification or condition of the item you won, please see an associate AFTER checking out and before leaving the building so the issue can be addressed. No refunds will be issued once you have left the building. Being familiar with these terms is very important as to how the items condition is assessed. We always recommend doing a little homework online for larger purchases. Double check to see how many boxes the item should be in. That way you'll know if your item is complete or not. All of these terms are posted in every auction and must be agreed to in order to place a bid.E. D.

I won an auction for $50 MSRP was $600. The auction listed "as-is." Auction had a stock photo of the item and 3 pics of the boxes to bid on. I won the auction. Went to retrieve the auction at BidFTA, and only one box was in the location provided for the item. I informed the person who claim to be the warehouse manager, and she stated "it's an as-is item, so that means it can be damaged, incomplete, missing pieces, etc." I responded, "I understand if the content of the boxes are damaged, incomplete, missing pieces, but to have an auction with photos and the number of items I bid on aren't complete", she then stated, "it can be any type of incomplete, even if boxes are missing." I was taken back after her just telling an auction winner "I can't find your item, I'll put in a missing item request to get your money back", immediately before handling my situation. I told her, "There is only one of my 3 boxes here, wouldn't that be deemed as missing item?" she stated "No, it's incomplete." to which I replied 'So, if someone stole/misplaced all 3 boxes, not just the 2 then I would be eligible for a missing item refund?" She then says, "I'm not going to do this with you, its listed as-is, it can be missing boxes!"I contacted corporate via e-mail (prior to going to pick up the items) because email is the only form of communication (no number). I stated too corporate that I had won an item that did not state it had missing parts, yet the boxes in the description were not available to retrieve. The lady D******, kept returning me the verbiage of the policies, not addressing the matter that was outside of standard policy limits. After 3 e-mails, she begins sending me screenshots of the auction I won. The issue is, the description had been altered, the details as well. I screenshot her the original receipt and where they had altered the auction, at that very point corporate communication ghosted me. That is why i ended up going to the facility in person (30 min away).BidFTA

We do not change the item descriptions once an auction has been posted and has bids on it. If, for some reason an item description needs to be changed, it will be pulled from the auction, corrected and then posted into another auction. Or if it's early in the auction, the item will be updated and all bids will be deleted. Because of the nature of the business, we understand the scrutiny we are under and using deceptive tactics to try to sell an item certainly wouldn't result in a long-running business with a solid bidder base.Review fromPremraj N

This website has a very idiotic and absurd return policy. The customer service is also the worst. Its like talking to a bot. I won a **** set in auction. The description for the product did not mention any missing pieces or damage to the product box. I picked up the product and opened it in the testing area. All the bricks were loose inside the main package. The staff said, they didnt find any missing pieces. I took the product home and found lot of pieces missing. I contacted the BidFTA customer service and they said you should have checked it there in the testing area. But how humanely is it possible to check 1633 pieces of bricks at the testing area? And how do I know which piece is missing before I assemble the product ? They have now declined a return citing policy. This is absolutely cheating and dishonest practice and such businesses should be banned.BidFTA

In looking into your item, I am seeing that it is listed with an "As-Is" description. As-Is items are defined as this in our auctions: As Is: Item has not been thoroughly inspected. As-Is items are simply that- As-Is. They are non-refundable. We always recommend taking advantage of the preview days and times to inspect anything you are interested in that is As-Is description.Review fromD. C.

Your reply is irrelevant to the fact that you fraudulently try to pass items off as “brand new” when in fact they are far from it because either your employees don’t care, are trained to deceive, or not trained at all. All I have stated is facts. You can either better your business by improving or you can not care about your customers and continue to get horrible reviews across many online platforms.Review fromRobert M

Live and learn.I did end up with a garage storage cabinet allegedly valued at $210 for only $50.However, I noticed that stuff I really wanted, when I was watching the auction time countdown, I placed a presumably high bid with under 60 seconds, as soon as I placed it, the time re-set to another 3 minutes.BidFTA
Date: 05/27/2025
Our auctions close using a "Staggered Closing". In it, once the closing time is reached, the first 5 items will close the first minute, then the next 5 items will close the next minute, then the next 5 will close the 3rd minute. So if your item is towards the end of the auction, it could be ***** minutes before the item you are bidding on closes. You should be able to see an accurate countdown clock per item. Also, we utilize a platform called "Dynamic Closing". With that, if a bid is placed during the last minute that an item is set to close, it will extend the bidding on that item for 3 minutes. If someone places a bid during that last minute, it will extend it another 3 minutes. This helps to eliminate any robo-bidding.Review fromJ. D.

Item: ********** Auction: ********** Invoice: ******** Bidder: ****** Item was described as Brand New "******y swing set ************* deck with Hut" however, it does not come with the swing set and nowhere in the description or summary is that clarified. False information. I paid more for an item for what it was described. I hope this is an error and not a purposeful practice by the business to make more money. The non-stock photos of this item were of another similar item, unlike mine that had been torn. Misleading information.I opened every box at the check station to see if anything had been cracked or damaged. The idea that i should have to look through the hundreds of pieces of wood and accessories to verify everything is there is bad business practice. I would recommend this be addressed for large, heavy items with many pieces.BidFTA

BAIT AND SWITCH OPERATION. They re-use pictures of brand new items for used, dirty items, then slap on the good condition description, which has become their get out of jail free card, because it allows them to decline refunds for the majority of items. If they want to use this massive umbrella of a policy behind good condition, then they cant re-use old pictures for those listings. I won an item that had pictures showing that it was new, still in the manufacturer packaging and protective plastic. When I opened the box, the item was just loosely thrown in the box, no packaging, used, and dirty. The manager of the location was snarky, told me to go read the policy and refused me a refund just because the item still turned on. They said they dont go off pictures, they go off description. So what are the pictures for then? Are they there just to mislead the bidders? Why even have pictures if the bidder shouldnt pay any attention to them? Well the ***** AND CONDITIONS state that its the bidders responsibility to inspect the photos before bidding so which is it? Pictures or description? Seems to me that its whichever is the most beneficial for the company at the time! This is baiting and switching, which is ILLEGAL. If they want to use the same brand new pictures for multiple listings, they need to make sure they are all brand new, or if they dont want to bother checking them all, they need to be listed AS IS. I dont care that it takes a little longer, god forbid they do their JOB that they are paid to do. Their customer service is no better, it think its just an automated response system because it doesnt address any issues you bring up. all they did is repeat their policy to me which is irrelevant to this issue, and say my item is ineligible for a refund since it has left the building, (I guarentee this will be their response to this review) even though I already said I TRIED to get a refund before leaving, and the manager refused. Place is a JOKE.BidFTA
