They need to be more precise with their condition description. "Open Box" does not mean completely broken and not functional. At the minimum there should have been a note addressing this. I arrived to pick up a wood burning stove and it was literally shattered.

We deal in secondary market items. Secondary market means that items could come from customer returns, overstock, shelf pulls or display/floor models. We have no way of knowing if a customer used the item prior to returning the item or if the supplier simply had too many and sold them to us as overstock. We state clearly in writing throughout the website, the terms and conditions and even signs in our warehouses that we do not test items, we do not assemble items, and we dont verify part lists to confirm completeness. We use 4 different kinds of descriptions when lotting items: Brand New, Appears New, Open Box (Please Use Preview, Unverified Condition) and Damaged. The following are the definitions for each that are posted in the terms of our auctions:Condition of Brand New: Brand New items are new and unused merchandise. It may not be in its original packaging. They should perform as expected. If you pick up your item and it is not new, or does not work, you can return that item before you leave the pickup location. These items are guaranteed for functionality and completeness. A bidder must examine the item thoroughly when picking up. If the item is not brand new the bidder MUST report this at the warehouse prior to leaving the premises. Once the bidder has left the premises with the item, Fast Track It cannot issue any refund for issues arising with the item Condition notation of "Appears new": these are items that appear to be in a new condition or have never been used previously. These items are not tested for functionality or completeness -for items that are marked "appears new" a bidder must examine the item thoroughly when picking up. If the item does not appear new or unused or if there is an issue, the bidder MUST report this to 2MC Management, Inc. prior to leaving the premises. Once the bidder has left the premises with the item, 2MC Management, Inc. cannot issue any refund for issues arising with the item.Condition Notation of "Open Box" "Please Use Preview" or "Unverified Condition": Items marked "Open Box" "Please Use Preview" or "Unverified Condition" indicate that they could come from a multitude of circumstances - shelf pulls, overstock, returns. An open box item could be incomplete and has not been tested for functionality. Taking advantage of the listed inspection days is strongly recommended for these items. 2MC Management, Inc. cannot issue refunds on these items if there are issues arising.Condition notation of "Damaged": Items marked "Damaged" could be new or used, but are noted to have certain damage. If possible, items will have secondary photos that display the damage, but are not still not tested for completeness and functionality and could have more damage than found upon being inventoried by 2MC. 2MC Management, Inc. cannot issue refunds on these items.Being familiar with these terms is very important as to how the items condition is assessed. They are also important to know because they tell whether or not the item can be refunded. They are also required to be agreed to in order to receive a bidder number to participate in our auctions. We understand that many people simply do not read the auction terms so we offer all bidders one, 1-time courtesy refund. Its kind of a get out of jail free card. So, if bidders place bids on an item, pick up and take it home without inspecting it and its damaged, they are given their courtesy refund and told that they need to be familiar with all of the auction terms going forward. It gives us an opportunity to educate the bidder on how our auctions work.

I purchased an item from bidFTA. I have done quiet a bid of buying from them so I pay close attention to the labels when it says “new” or “open box” or “incomplete” I picked up my “open box” ice machine that I spent more than $200 on. The item was packaged different than what the pictures had shown. I took the item home to find an ice machine that didn’t have the ice bin to collect the ice. This item should of been listed as “incomplete” rather than “open box” I contacted their customer support team asking for a refund and was told because they had returned 1 item to me before they could not do it again. The one item they returned in the last was a “new” treadmill that was ripped to shreds with pieces all over the warehouse. They wouldn’t give me a phone number or address for me to file in small claims to see how the courts would perceive boxing garbage and deceptively selling it as good. This place is a scam. I don’t recommend anyone purchasing items off this site.

The employees work hard to keep the action going. The management is questionable to say the least. This business is definitely BUYER BEWARE!There are so many potholes to be fallen into. You fall into one and six more appear. Here is a perfect example: a cookware set listed as "Brand New" with a manufacturer's retail price listed as $399.00. I paid $105 for it on line. I picked it up and the box was slightly larger than a container for a pair of hiking boots. Inside were the cheapest, smallest set of tin pots and plastic handles unattached. There was a bag of screws. This item would have trouble qualifying as a child's play time gift. True retail value closer to $22.50 at a local toy store. 1. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE. OPEN YOUR PURCHASES BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE *** TRAP WAREHOUSE YOU END UP IN RISKING YOUR LIFE IN ORDER TO RETRIEVE YOUR "TREASURES"!2. IF THERE'S NO MANUFACTURER LISTED, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME EVEN LOOKING. NO DOUBT THE **** IS GARBAGE FROM THE FAR EAST MADE FROM RECYCLED CANS OF PEAS AND BEETS.3. THERE WAS TEFLON PICTURED BUT ONLY ONE OF THE MANY TOY POTS ACTUALLY HAD SOMETHING THAT LOOKED LIKE ****** PAINTED ON THE INSIDE.4. FOOD "SEALED" ** ORIGINAL WRAPPING? MAKE SURE YOUR MEDICAL COVERAGE IS UP TO DATE BEFORE AN AMBULANCE FERRIES YOU TO THE ***** GENERAL HOSPITAL FOR FOOD POISONING.Other problems, buy something that isn't marked as "brand new" and there is a good chance some or most of the listed contents aren't even there. And that useless pile unwanted salvage is now all yours, no matter what. If it's marked "brand new," chances are you can get a refund if you don't leave their teardown of a building. Buying a technical electronic item? Make sure it isn't a demo from another country. I paid for a ******* ipad from *******. Permanently installed on it was sales software to be demo'd instore at ******* telephone sales offices. It couldn't be removed and the tablet was completely useless. BUYER BEWARE! BIDFTA? BUYER BEWARE! BUYER BEWARE!

ZERO STARS I wish I would have read reviews about this site and/or locations before I spent one red cent. I also wish there was a more widespread way to spread the word of how unprofessional and unfriendly they really are. I have been to a few but I mainly frequent the Cincinnati areas (School Road, Seymour, and Amelia). I have filed a few complaints through the site before about the staff mainly at the School Rd location. Of course that gets you no where because whoever the idiots are that are responding really don’t care at all. One day I was there and a young male employee walked up to the other young male employee who was scanning my items and was talking about an Xbox that didn’t get picked up that day and they were discussing which one of them were going to keep it. So it makes perfect sense at to why they don’t help you beca They profit from the things you don’t pick up or can’t find. This last experience takes the cake for me though. I had taken some days off for the holiday and had planned on picking up items I purchased through the site. I got an email saying they closed due to the weather (which I understood). So the next business day they we’re scheduled to be opened, I took the day off work to go search for my items. I get to each location (Seymour and Amelia) and they both had signs saying they were still closed. An email came out later that day after I had already made the trips saying they will be closed. The next day I had to work late so I went Thursday and of course the items were NOT there. I emailed support to see if it was poss To pick the items up, if I could get refunded, or asked who I could speak with. She responded and just said I should have just picked the items up that Wednesday as that was the next day. The closure email did not specify that and how was I supposed to guess that information. If I took 2 days off work and they were closed BOTH days, they should have given some extra time as most people work and have to make arrangement.

This auction company is very dishonest, they advertise what u get with a product, but when you receive it, there is nothing. Empty case, n they say you can’t get a refund. I bought a Johnson rotating lazer, it showed a picture n explained everything that was included. Took forever to find it in warehouse, I didn’t know about the inspection of item before you left the building until I seen it later, got home my husband opened it up, it was in the box sealed, and the case was new, but had dirty water spots on it, opened the case n there was nothing in it, I paid almost $200.00 for this, n contacted them n they said I should have checked it before leaving, i still believe this is fraud, and should be against the law. Something should be done about this dishonest company.

Im not sure I can even give them a star at the ****** location. I was a first time bidder, just signed up the day before. Bided and won a Minolta camera I had been wanting for a long time. I was so excited, couldnt wait to pick it up. At the place I work I am a Quality Auditor. So when I walk in a place Im observing everything. Could not believe my eyes. What a mess inside and workers are not friendly. When I tried to ask one of the employees for help, cause I had no idea where to find my camera, she said Im busy with another customer. So I asked a customer and she told me the location of the item. Should be in location 30. I found 30 and spent 20 minutes before giving up. I again asked a customer for help. Customer said since its electronics it might be in the secured area up front. Sure enough I could see it from the outside of the caged area that said only authorized people only. I looked around it was a mad house no one had time to assist. When I tried to summon one lady, again Im busy with another customer. I went in and got it myself. Then had to get in a line a mile long. I finally got checked out and couldnt wait to check it out and it was about closing time. I decided to wait till I got home. At home I opened the box only to find the item listed as like new wasnt even in the box. Only a manual and sd card, guess manual gave it some weight. So I called, it rang and rang and finally said everyone is to busy, call back. So I emailed support. I could tell right away where it was going by there response. The response didnt say Im sorry but instead did you have one of the employees check the box before you left. Course my answer is No. so now I have two card board boxes for $200. When I replied I told them I would spread the word to make sure people check boxes before leaving. They replied yes please spread the word. Not one sorry. First time customer, bidder, I drove 30 minutes both ways and I have nothing. I do not recommend them or trust them.

I would give them a no star if I could. Save your time and money and buy elsewhere. You may pay more but won't have to deal with the shady employees and shady online practices. I have 2 valid credit cards on file and no invoices but I conveniently got locked out from bidding and lost everything I was bidding on. Half the time items are different than pictures and everything is crammed together and broken. Pretty bad when the franchises are better than the places owned by the company. Although The manager and employees at chantry Dr are in the parking lot drinking and the rats there are a health concern. The app is slow and good luck with customer support..there is none.

There's lots to unpack in your complaint, but looking into your correspondence with the Support Team, I am seeing there was an issue with your card on your account. You emailed in about it and were assisted with your open invoice being charged out right away. All bidders must keep a valid card on file so their won auction item can be charged after the auction ends. If the payment fails, the bidder's account is locked and any active bids are deleted.

This is a auction bidding site and when I first starting doing auctions almost two years ago this was one of the better locations. Now, it has turned into bidder beware. Recently, my son ask me to bid on a bed which was advertised as a complete unit (Queen new) well after winning the bid ( paid $193.00 after fees and taxes) I sent my son who rented a truck to pick up. On the day of pick up this location was totally unorganized and staff was not helpful. He picked up the item number which is placed on the one box. He also, picked up a few items for his sister since he did have a truck that day, however, he was unable to find one of her items. Well, once he got home and opened the box he quickly discovered there were several pieces missing (Boxes). The next day I went to this location to see if I could find the missing boxes needless to say I wasn't successful.I ask the manager who told me to contact support. I contacted BidFTA via email (support) and was told since he removed it from the building they will not refund my money. I told them I would make yet another trip to return the one box we did have. This is totally false advertisement and misleading to the customer in order to **** up bids. Poor business practice and shame on this location for doing SO. I paid almost $200 for part of a bed which wasn't posted as NOT COMPLETE OR PARTS. I know I'm only one person but they have lost me as a bidder.BidFTA (Fast Track) *************************************************************** (POOR BUSINESS PRACTICE)

Bidfta did take my money for product they didn't give me. I missed the pick up date because I had an emergency trip out of state and couldn't pick up the dates that I had to. When I went and explained the situation to them they said they don't care and that I have lost my money which is around $100. They resold all my items and made double the money, they told me that I could had have some family members to go pick up my items, I also explained to them that I don't have family in *******, so nobody could have pick up items for me. I don't think it is fair specially this days how the economy is for them to take money from anybody and expect that that's okay. I want my money back or they will be loosing my business for good.
