      On April 4, a driver backed into and ran over a portion of my ornamental tree, a weeping copper beech tree, approximately 20 years old. Per the pictures, he whacked out the side of the tree and put ruts in my yard adjacent to the driveway. I called Rumpke that evening and made a report, safety guy came out on April 5 and spoke with my husband. Safety did not enter this event into their system until April 11 after stating he would do so on April 8th. I spoke with ******* at Rumpke on April 19th and asked that they pick up my trash, as they did not on the approinted day and that someone contact me concerning the damage done to my tree. To this date, no one has called and I would like compensation for this tree that looks HORRIBLE when it is blooming which is now. Please note, that my spouse made to comment to safety that he didn't personally care about the tree damage, but this contract is in my name and not his.

      On February 29, 2024 I cancelled Rumpke Trash Service per phone. The lady on the phone did not mention anything about putting the recycle bin at the end of my driveway. i put my recycle bin next to my garage door to be pick up. I lived in a condo area that our private roadway and to separate from the main street. My driveway is very close to the drive thru. Rumple want to charge me $51.46 for their failure to pick up the recycle bin on their garage run. I called Rumple after 2 garage runs. the lady on the phone said I need to put it into the roadway. The recycle bin sat there over months in the roadway before they pick it up. One of kind neighbor kept put it back next my garage door. Then I would go put it back in the roadway. I'm disabled and cannot afford their prices. They charge $25.00 to keep trash bin next your garage door.

      The driver picking up my trash pulled off my driveway, damaging a concrete pad to my garage, then pulled off my driveway into my yard rutting it up. When I called rumpke I got transferred several times and left a voicemail. Customer service then told me they would deal with it at their earliest convience.

      We are a seasonal business (******** ***** ****) and have been using Rumpke for the past thirty years. For the most part, service has been good. At times we have had to call because we weren't picked up. Again for the most part, they have resolved that issue. We shut down for the winter from October thru February. Until this past winter we have not been billed during our off season. This year, without any warning, Rumpke decided to bill us a lease amount of $20.98 a month. My wife has tried numerous times to find out why after thirty years they have changed our agreement with no notice to us. We were told it was in our agreement. We don't have our agreement from 30 years ago and we haven't received a new agreement. So I doubt that is true since this is the first time we had been billed in thirty years. My wife has tried to have these "Lease" payments removed. Was told by customer service they would try. Also, was told in the future, we could have the dempster removed in October and reinstalled in March at our expense. As of today, we received a bill and was told to pay up or our service would be disconnected. So either way we end up paying even though we aren't using their service in the winter. Bottom line, It would be nice if their customer service would have handled this differently. They could have given us a refund on the amount for the winter since we feel we have never been informed of this change. But they basically ignored us. Unfortunately, we have to pay because Rumpke has almost a monopoly of waste pickup in our area.

      Rumpke is my contracted waste management and curbside recycling provider. They routinely “forget” to pick up recycling in our neighborhood development. They offer NO refunds when the issue is on their end (my bins go out the night before so they are available in early morning).

      Unfortunately, for our city, this company is the ONLY curbside recycling provider available…or else I would change providers.

      I am asking for accountability on their part to consistently pick up what we pay good money to have hauled away…and compensation when they don’t do their job properly.

      Additionally, I am unhappy with the CONSISTANTLY RISING COST FOR THEIR UNRELIABLE SERVICE. My bill has increase by $5-10 with each of at least the last 3 quarterly billing cycles.

      For further evidence of the issues going on in our neighborhood…look at ********…search Rumpke and ****** ****. There are many many mentions of the same issue I am currently happening.

      On 4/1/24 I contacted Rumpke to pick up a gas stove during their normal trash pickup day. They advise me that as long as the power cord is taped to the stove and there is no gas in the stove, they can pick it up. It was scheduled to be picked up the next day 4/2/24. On 4/2/24 in the afternoon I went to bring in my trash, I noticed that not only had the stove not been picked up, but my trash was not picked up either. Everyone else on my street had their trash picked up except mine. I called Rumpke to see why the trash was not picked up. They advised there was nothing in their notes stating why it was not picked up. They apologized and advised it would be picked up either by the end of the day or within 48 hours. The next day (4/3) I went by to see if the trash and stove were picked up. The trash had been picked up but not the stove. I called again and was advised my stove was too heavy. I said there's no way, it's an old single-oven gas stove that I could pick up myself. I complained to a supervisor and they advised me it needed to be light enough to raise 6 feet in the air. I said again, the stove is not that heavy. The supervisor advised to send in pictures of the stove and someone would get back with me. On today, 4/4 I missed the call from them but I called back and they told me the exact same thing as before - the stove is too heavy. Here are my issues: No one ever told me there was a weight limit. I have an average size stove, so if this one is too heavy, there's no way they could even pick up any kind of stove! So why tell me you can pick up my stove in the first place? Also, I complained to a supervisor and was given no further explanation for why the stove was not picked up. Is it just ONE person picking up a stove by hand or is a crane or machine of some sort used? Does it need to be picked up on a different day than normal trash day? I feel that my time was wasted and I still dont understand why my stove was not picked up.

      Multiple issues; Rumpke purchased the previous trash company that serviced our address, ***** Trash. We were told nothing would change, everything would stay as it was with ***** Trash. Not the truth, with ***** we has a 2x a week pickup, Rumpke only does once. We have dumpsters that are in an alley which was never an issue with *****, the delivery drivers constantly complaining because they have to roll the dumpsters out to dump them. Sorry the previous company had no problems dumping them. Maybe should have researched first. Previous company had just delivered a brand new dumpster, Rumpke broke it within weeks and has of yet to replace with brand new one. We have been trying for months to put both dumpsters on the same account of the building owner. Excuses as to the account rep for the area, Shaun S*******, cant locate the owners account. She was provided his name and billing address and still claims cannot locate account but yet the bill comes to the exact address I gave her. The building owner has contacted Rumpke multiple times and gets no resolution either. Now the building owner is being billed for both dumpsters, guess what, I am getting billed for ours also. Rumpke is billing and collecting double for the same dumpster. We have been dealing with this for well over a year. I refuse to pay for the dumpster until all of this is resolved. Every time I call Rumpke I get someone who has no idea what I am talking about and have to tell the story over and over and over and over and over again. Then transferred and transferred and transferred and transferred and transferred to more people who I have to tell the story over and over and over again. Is there no one there that can step up and just fix this? It truly is a very easy fix.

      Yes they did contact me.  No it was not resolved because the person who contacted me was part of the problem.  They claimed they could not find the account in question.  They were constantly trying to make it seem the issues I 

      have are petty.  The person I spoke with made sure to have 2 of her bosses supposedly with her when she called and I specifically told them I did not wasnt to speak with her and chose to let her continue anyway.  She has no business 

      being in the customer service field, she gave answers that were simply not true, such as claiming she responded to my emails when in fact she did not.  My opinion is she did this to appear to have control in front of her bosses when in

      fact nothing was settled.  The person whom I spoke with was Shawn S******* and I will not talk to her as she just doesnt follow through with anything and trys to cover it up.

      I have lived and had Rumpke service for the past 11+ years at this address. I live on a one lane rural road in ***** *****y, KY. I have 3 waste wheelers one of them belongs to Rumpke and the other two are/were my own containers and they are all the same size.
      Approximately December 2023 I noticed that after the trash had ran one of my personal containers was missing (green). I look down the road no container insight. No one would want it, bc it has a large crack down the side. I called into Rumpke & made a complaint that the can was missing. It was determined that the can was taken to the landfill. WHY? Who knows. Rumpke decided that they would give me an additional waste wheeler to use for 1 year then I would be charged after that point. I wasn't happy with that decision because my can was FREE! But whatever!
      On Friday March 22, when I left for work, after the trash had ran, my other personal can (blue) that had a broken wheel was missing (we have the new wheel to replace)! Once again, I call Rumpke! I asked to speak to a supervisor and I spoke to ******. She was very nice and polite took my complaint and said she would get with the manager and call me back. She called me back the next week and stated that the manager talked with the driver and he stated that he didn't take the can, maybe I need to look in my neighborhood. There was nothing they could do. Mind you RURAL area in 11+ years I have NEVER had anything stolen especially not a BROKEN WHEELED TRASH CAN. Who would want it! I told ****** that I did not agree and I wanted to talk to the manager. She stated that she would call and let him know to return my call. As of today I have not received a call. So now I'm out TWO cans and if I want another I will have to pay! Mine were FREE! So Rumpke makes more money off me because their trash collectors made a mistake twice? I do not feel this is okay! I realize they are trash cans but they were my fathers and he died Sept. 26, 2023.

      I had decided to use Rumpke for garbage services after my original disposal service provider went out of business. In the time that I had them (about 4 months) my garbage was only picked up 2 times without me having to call them or without me finding a way to dispose of it myself. I ask for them to cancel services and ask for a refund of all of the money spent since most of the time I didn’t actually receive their services. They told me I would get a refund within 2 weeks. I called several times during this two week period which would have ended Monday the 25th and each time they said it was processed through them and should be any day now I still have yet to receive my refund and now they are stating that it will only be for one of the $64 and some change service fees but not both. I was very unhappy with my service and find it ridiculous that we are going on 3 weeks of not being refunded for one of the payments and am extremely upset that I did their job most of the time I had service and they refuse to repay that as well. They are taking peoples money not giving a service promising it back when customers cancel then never actually paying them. I’ve been told the exact thing for weeks now about it “already being processed to my bank” but my bank has yet to receive it.
