  This trash service likes to mess up your address and then refuse to fix it. I called to have new trash bins delivered to my house since I just moved. I was told they would be delivered today. I never got them and when I called to see why they told me the address was put in wrong. They said I could either pick them up from the address they had or they could contact the truck center and have them pick them up and take them. I chose the latter since I have no way to transport them. They still never brought them to me. I called again and they said they would not bring them to me and my only options were to either pick them up myself or wait another 15 to 20 days to get new ones. I told them I just built a house and need my trash cans because I have trash. They gave me the option to set 5 plastic trashbags on the corner but I would have to wait ANOTHER WEEK FOR THEM TO BE PICKED UP. This is unacceptable customer service especially since it wasn't my fault.

  Seems like many people are having the same issues my wife and I are having. The customer service is HORRIBLE!!! Ive been given the runaround multiple times since ive started service with them in June 2022. I feel like I've called them about once a month about some billing issue or them not picking up our trash. As of November 1st, 2022, the past 4 weeks, ive had my trash picked up 1 time!!! 1 TIME!!!! We now have 2 weeks worth of garbage sitting at the end of our driveway that STILL needs to be picked up. The folks I talk to at their "Customer Care" center claim the driver keeps saying "No cart has been put out", even though its been sitting out there almost 2 weeks now. The same people keep telling me that I will be receiving a phone call from the Supervisor, but i have yet to receive anything from them, other than a bill. If you live outside of City or Town limits and are considering using Rumpke as your trash service, please look elsewhere. Even if it means you will pat a little more per month, just do it. It isnt worth the frustration, time, or money to even try this company. Be forewarned.

  This morning I had an encounter with Bill, the trash man from rumpke on ******** *** Court at approximately 8:00. I'm an amputee missing an arm and his demeanor and also attitude were through the roof he was a delight to deal with. I'm so glad we have people like him in the world. Thanks again Bill. I hope that's actually your name. I can't quite remember but I wanted to reach out and say thank you for going above and beyond. Your attitude is infectious. Thank you one last time

  Rumpke is a disaster. We registered for their recycling on Aug 31 in Huntington, WV. They took the money from our bank account within minutes. The service was supposed to start on October 7. They never delivered the bin to us and since October 7 we have called them four times, to have our money transferred back to us. It still has not arrived back. Today, October 26, 2022, we are reporting them to the AG of West Virginia, the Consumer Protection Agency.

  Excluding a time the driver saw us running down our driveways with trash / recycling bins and kept driving....Rumpke has been an excellent waste and recycling company. I've moved many times in several states and their service is the best. When I arrived at this location, I coordinated several bulk trash pick ups, and they were reliable and took everything that I set out. Their cost for services is reasonable and I appreciate the service that they provide.

  I missed putting my trash out because I was sick, called service was told “nothing I can do.” Guess that’s understandable.
  Separate date:
  I put the trash out, driver did not pick up. Have doorbell footage of trash out and driver passing my house. Their customer service said “the driver marked it as not being out, so it wasn’t out” then promptly told me I couldn’t do anything and said have a nice day to me before hanging up.

  I think Rumpke is poor at resolving customer problems
  I have called at several times to resolve there audit billing mistake to my home. They are trying to charge me for a extra trash can that I never had. Every time I have called the have said oh yes I believe we did make the mistake, we run it up to are supervisor and have them take a look and take it off your bill and call you back. No phone call back. That was August. Sept I get bill saying I am late on the bill I call tell them the same as above about there mistake the lady said the same as the last lady did. No phone call back
  Here it is October same issues now the letter said my trash will be terminated if I don't pay that money I don't owe and never owe for something I didn't have. I call the the the lady is rude and give me the same run around as before. Now I must wait on and see if they call I am not holding my breath. frustrated ?? getting nowhere..........

  less than one star. Service for trash is good. But now, I have closed the service and let them pick my bins up. But they keep saying I can't find your bins and everytime they charge me $50 as a trip fee. I put one trash bin and recycle bin but they said we found trash bin not recycle bin and keep charging fee. Ridiculous service. Customer service keep saying the same words.

  Rumpke waste removal is really great. They are always efficient, on-time and do not spill garbage on street or yards. Very professional.
