      Our trash was not pickup up 2 weeks ago. We were told they would pick up all trash bags including those not in the trash containers last week. They only did the trash containers. We still have 2 weeks of trash to be picked up. Their service is awful. We are looking for an alternative.

      They think they own a monopoly in ********** and that it is ok to not pick up your trash. Our trash sat out on a busy street for 1 week and this was not the first time. Six calls were made and every time I was told it would be picked up. They do not want to refund money. They literally drove up to our house and stopped , they looked at our 1 bin of trash and drove away. This is one of the worst customer service experiences I have had.

      Thank you for your response. While I appreciate the sentiment, I need to point out that weve already explored your proposed solution not once, but five times and unfortunately, it has yet only caused further frustration. This isnt an isolated incident as our neighbors were treated similarly. At this point, we need a more effective resolution, as repeating the same steps isnt working. Id like to see a fresh approach to this recurring issue, one that genuinely resolves the root cause. Please advise on the next steps.

      My neighbors and I share a dumpster, and it gets full every week. This week we had a snowstorm (act of God) and they didnt pick up my trash on the scheduled day, which is understandable. We waited until the roads were clear and called Rumpke, asking when itll be picked up. We always get serviced Monday mornings around 8 am. So I assumed we would be high on the list of pickups. They said we would get serviced Wednesday or Thursday. They did not come out, so I called the office on Friday, and I get told that Rumpke send out an internal message that it wont pick anything up until the next week. And theyll pick up all trash, even if its sitting around on the ground. I live in a rural area, with wildlife that likes to eat trash, and that would just cause litter to be strung out all over the place. I kindly asked for a refund for the week, since they didnt provide the service I paid for, and they said that they dont give refunds. Im sorry. When you pay for a service and it isnt performed, its called theft! This isnt the first time they didnt come to pick up my trash, and the other times it was summer; good weather.

      I appreciate the canned response. I talked to three different employees from Rumpke and they all told me theres nothing they can do, except raise the concern to corporate.

      RUMPKE SAID THEY DIDNT PICK UP MY TRASH BECAUSE THEY THOUGHT IT WAS MY NEIGHBORS TRASH CAN, SO NOW THEY CAN ASSUME, ******* AND ***** DO SELL THE SAME TRASH CANS AND COLORS. I HAVE HAD THEM FOR MANY YAERS WITH THE SAME 2 TRASH CANS MIND YOU BUT ALL OF A SUDDEN, THEY KNOW ITS NOT MINE SO THEY DONT TAKE IT FOR 2 WEEKS. THEIR ARGUEMENT WAS THE DRIVER THOUGHT IT WAS MY NEIGHBORS. REALLY!!!!!

      I'm so happy there was another option. We have had rumpke for a little over a year. They would either miss our pick up all together, or just take one can, or randomly do their job. We would call and the customer service was nice but they continued to fail miserably. When I asked for the person in charge of the trucks to call me I never got a call. The last straw was when the rumpke truck nearly ran my wife off the road after only taking one can ... again. Canceled their service. They are all proud of being a well run company on their website. My experience has been the opposite. .. ************************************** ****

      They missed picking up my dumpster on 12/3/2024, I called to inquire about a credit and was told that they would look into the problem, of course no one called my back. I called on 12/19/2024 to inquire about a credit and was informed that they had denied the credit saying that the trash in the dumpster was frozen to the bottom of the dumpster. There was over 2 feet of trash in the dumpster, for it to be frozen to the bottom of the dumpster there would have to have been nearly a cubic yard of water. We did not have enough precipitation in the week preceding to end up with two feet of water in my dumpster.
      I also had a large rust hole in my dumpster. It took them two months to replace it. I had to call several times to finally get it replaced. Every time they emptied my dumpster trash was being spilled onto the ground. I had to pay my employees to clean up the mess every week. I asked for a credit on my bill which, of course, was denied.
      When I tried to follow up on these problems, customer service blamed logistics, logistics blamed someone else. No one in the company would take responsibility for the problems. This is what happens when a company has a near monopoly in an ares. The consumer has no choice but to bend over and take it again and again.
      I now have a security camera monitoring my dumpster and will be able to prove that they did or did not empty it. I am also placing a making tape seal on the lids which will tear when the dumpster is emptied.

      Billed 6 months after I cancelled service, immediately applied to my credit report. Had to pay $100 to have them remove. I thought extortion was illegal.

      I've had a horrible experience with Rumpke and it doesn't seem to end. After they've neglected to pick up my trash about a half dozen or more times in the last year I finally terminated the service. Now they're holding a credit of mine and won't release it until the garbage cans have been reclaimed. No different than the trash service, they aren't picking up the cans as scheduled. What can I do at this point? Stay away from this company they are horrendous.

      Horrible Service. Did one billing cycle with them. 7 times they missed my trash and I had to call in to have it picked up. I would watch them stop at the 2 houses prior to mine and get the trash. It was still dark. Their headlights lighting up the big ol Rumpke can at the end of my drive and they would still drive on past. The supervisor assured me at time #5 it would not happen again. At time #6 I said if if happened again I was canceling. the following week it happened again. I have now cancled. It has been 12 days since I cancled and their trashcan is still sitting at the end of my driving waiting to be picked up. I have called about it sitting here at the end of my drive this long and I keep getting told it is on the list to be picked up. I bet if it gets stolen they will charge me, yet they don't get out here and pick it up! This is a horrible company to work with. They blow smoke up your **** to get you off the phone. They do not address issues. The new company I signed up with has been wonderful. Difference of night and day. ***** this company. It is a huge headache.

      The worst trash pick-up service ever. For 3 of the last 7 weeks, the trash has not been picked up from my house. This includes Oct. 24th and Oct 31st. During trash pickup on Thursday, Nov 7th I actually stood outside and gave the trash man $20 to pick up my trash (we are under contract with the city of *******). I said "please pick up my trash".November 14th my trash was not picked up again. I called at 5:50 PM on Thursday, Nov 7th and was told that my trash would be picked up within two business days. I called again on Monday, Nov 18th and filed a complaint and it was escalated to "Operations." Tuesday, November 19th I did not get my trash picked up and I called again. Finally, after no pick-up I called the city manager and he said he would be in touch with them and that this was "unacceptable". I just got off the phone and they said "a guy stopped by today and didn't see the trash." The trash was in the same position it had been since I moved in the house. Still not picked up.I pay good money for trash pick-up and I should at least get a reason why my trash isn't getting picked up. You may think this is funny, but I have had such a negative experience I really believe they won't pick up your trash.And to think I pay for this.
