      After cancelling my service with Rumpke due to poor service, they sent me a bill for three months. I called them again about the bill and how I cancelled and never received service and they refused to cancel the bill.They have made a fraudulent claim against my credit that I have an unpaid bill with them.

      Called twice in the month of June that they never picked up was told to keep trash out at curb still never came till July 5th and got it all. Got the bill for $77 and when I messaged them about it I got the run around about they couldnt wheel the garbage can to truck because the wheel was broken yet the trash was never in the barrel it was at curb. Now they wont message or call me back. Very poor service and I just started in April with these guys. Shouldnt be in business if this is how you treat your customers.

      Unreliable trash pickup.. Very poor (I.e., nonexistent) response to notifications of missed pickups and no corrective action. Ongoing, long-term problem.

      We called to have them do a pick up of a mattress. They charged us the agreed $30 fee for additional service. But the crew coming to pick up the mattress just put a sticker on the mattress that was wrapped in plastic per their instruction. They never came back. we left the mattress out for 3 weeks eventually having to dispose of it ourselves. We called and followed up several times and they said they would get back to us but never did and stated that the customer service team "didn't have contact with operations." Then when then bill came they still had the $30 fee on the bill. I called and said that they never picked up the mattress. They said OK and would take the $30 fee off. Then when the autopay happened they still withdrew the $30 fee.

      We have called multiple time because our pickup was missed and receive the same response that they will send someone out to pick it up but it usually doesn't happen. My full trash container has been sitting by the road for two weeks and still not picked up. I can understand missing a new customer once, but three or four times in two months? Very poor management.

      Watch out for this company. They will get you coming and going. Just had my rates go up 61% in a 12 month period of time. Unfortunately their contract penalizes you so much it is not worth cancelling your service. They also refuse to take a cancellation notice now for future end of service. It must be done 180 days out or they will automatically renew your contract and you are in the same bind again. You can't make this stuff up!

      At the start of 2024 my city switched to Rumpke trash service. I live in city which means this is my only option or I'll be fined. At first it was fine. I requested 3 trashcarts because that's what I had before and I have a big family. About 2 weeks ago one of my trashcarts was missing. I contacted Rumpke and they gave me the serial numbers for my carts and I found my missing one at my neighbors. Later she came over and said it was hers and gave me the serial number which was different from what I wrote down but I wrote it incorrectly. So I contacted rumpke again and they told me the serial number and I was like "wait that's my neighbors". So they were charging both of us for the trashcart. I told them to leave it attached to my neighbor and send me a new one to avoid a conflict with my neighbor. It's been 2 weeks so I contact Rumpke and ask why I never got my replacement. They informed me they cancelled my delivery because I have 2 already. I informed them yes I have 2 and need my third replaced. They then tell me "oh yeah it was cancelled in error". I know this wasn't an error this is their employees just doing whatever they want with people's accounts and trashcarts knowing people in city limits are trapped with them. I would haul my trash to the dump myself before I ever willingly paid for Rumpke's services. But again I have no other options.

      This company is a joke! I've called MULTIPLE times over this past year because the lazy ass employees don't do their job correctly by picking up BOTH trash and recycling! My block has their recycling sitting out since Tues night. I've called multiple times since weds. We get fined for keeping our cans out longer than 24 hours in Parma Ohio. You will be paying ALL of our fines if we get cited! I'm also contacting corporate. This is ridiculous!

      I've called MULTIPLE times. Asked for a supervisor at the Cleveland **** locations. They REFUSE to let me speak to one. What a joke. They FINALLY picked our recycling up after me calling multiple times that day asking for a supervisor. But WOULD NOT put a supervisor on the phone.

      You've got to be kidding me. ANOTHER WEEK THEY TOOK TRASH AND NOT RECYCLING! Also just left trash all over the entire block laying around! If THE EVTIRE NEIGHBORHOOD GETS FINED, YOUR COMPANY WILL PAY! WOW! Wtf! Get your **** together! I'm beyond livid right now!

      Every week I have to call Rumpke to advise that either my trash or my recycle has not been picked up. They continue to apologize weekly and say they will look into it and let me know that the route supervisor will ensure going forward they are picked up weekly. Again today after 2 calls over 40 minutes on the phone they have still not been emptied. I'm not comfortable giving them even 1 star as the customer experience is terrible and level of service is non-existent. I have no other bins to put my trash in and it is becoming unsanitary, unfortunately it is not a priority for Rumpke.
