In 2021 I purchased a washer and dryer from this buisness for a little over $3.000 - my monthly payment was roughly around $500.00 a month. I paid off my washer and dryer. This company sent my information to collections and is stating that I never paid off my washer and dryer when in reality I did. They are stating I still owe them over $2.052. I have owned they for a few years now. I have tried everything to get this off my credit and nothing is working. Do not waste your time trying to buy anything from this company. We want to thank Ms. ******** ********* for contacting Tempoe regarding her previous lease. We understand that there is some confusion with the terms and conditions of that lease. We completed an investigation into the matter and advise Ms. ********* did make all her initial payments. Unfortunately she didn't follow the steps set forth in the lease agreement. Per the lease agreement, once the initial payments are completed the customer has three options: Continue the lease, Purchase the property or Return the property and terminate. If Ms. ********* did nothing the lease would have continued and Tempoe would have attempted additional payments. To purchase the property Ms. ********* would have needed to contact Tempoe and paid the buyout price. The third option would have been to terminate the lease and schedule to return the property.
On 3/03/2021 Ms. ********* called into Customer Support and the three options were explained. Ms. ********* told the agent should would think about her options and call back. She again called later in the day and asked about the buyout option and how much she would need to pay to buyout the lease. The amount was provided and Ms. ********* hung up. On 3/04/2021 Ms. ********* called back and requested to remove her debit card information from the account and stated if any further payments were attempted it would be fraud. No further contact was made with Ms. *********.
Our records indicate that the lease defaulted and was sold to Security Credit Services LLC on 7/27/2021. I never signed a contract when I purchased my washer and dryer. I put $350 down for a down payment. I no longer have the receipt stating I paid my washer and washer in full as this was in 2020.

In 2021 I purchased a swimming pool from *****. At that time, they used WhyNotLeaseIt, which is owned by Tempoe. The lease payments were being drafted out of my bank account as per the lease aggreement. The trouble started when I received a shipping notification from UPS that my package was dropped off at USPS and they would make the delivery. I called my local post office because we were just going to pick it up, and we figured it was pretty large. The lady at the Post Office did not have the package and, after some investigating, told me that the package was at the post office in *********** *******, which is over an hour and a half away from our home. We asked what we needed to do, and we were told to go to the enterprise post office the next day. I called the post office the next day to confirm and told the post office worker that we were getting a truck to haul the package and we'd be there. Then the post office worker informed me that the package weighed less than a pound. I looked up the tracking number and was able to confirm that the weight was indeed less than a pound. The post office worker said that they would return it to the sender if we didn't get it. I told them that was fine with me. I called ***** and got the run around for days, but I finally got the answer that they would process it as a return. We never received our money back because we were leasing the item. They did not replace the item, and never told me why they sent my package to the wrong post office, or why a above ground swimming pool weighed less a pound. After making 5 payments to Tempoe, I stopped paying them. I explained to them what had happened when they started calling wanting their money. I never received my money back for the payments I made. The are harassing and threatened to take legal action . On a matter from 3/2015 - concerning some jewelry that I have no clue of and they are stating that I owe $4,000 that’s ridiculous. Recently I tried applying to an apartment and was denied because I have an outstanding balance from tempoe. At first I was nervous because I thought my identity had been stolen. I’ve never heard or came across this company before in my life. I need this issue to be resolved immediately.

The sharing of my nonpublic information with the credit bureaus has led to inaccuracies on my report, causing immense financial and emotional distress. As per 15 USC 1681 Section 602, I am entitled to privacy rights regarding my information. Additionally, 15 USC 1681 Section 604 A Section 2 stipulates that a consumer reporting agency cannot furnish an account without my written instructions, which has not been adhered to.
Moreover, under 15 USC 1666 B, a creditor cannot treat any payment on a credit card account as late under an open-end consumer credit plan. These discrepancies have greatly impacted my financial standing and mental well-being.

We bought refrigerator from ***** Outlet. We were assured that when we reached the amount financed and finance charges that we would be good. We received an email from them saying that we were free and clear that we have reached our term agreements and were now the proud owners of our refrigerator. A year later it was showing as a collection on our credit report so we contacted them and fought with them over it. They actually ended up charging us nearly double what we owed, refused to give us a refund, and wanted us to pay more or return the product. Obviously we weren't paying more or returning it since we had the email and bank statements proving that they overcharged us. It went away for a while with no resolution, but now they are trying to hit us for another $200 two years later. We are due a refund but they want more overpayment.Business Response

On 10/21/2021, I got approved for a lease to own in the amount of $1,370.00 to purchase a ****** **
*** ***, through ***** online marketplace third party company called Tempoe, LLC DBA Why Not Lease It, and ******** ****** ********* ***. In this agreement a ****** ** *** *** would be shipped out by Why Not Lease It/ Tempo, LLC and delivered to my residence at **** * ******* *** ****** ** *****. Lease requires consumer to make first payment at lease signing, I made my first payment of $60, and reoccurring payments continued from 10/21/2021 through 2/10/2022, a total of 11 payments were made to Tempoe, LLC DBA Why Not Lease It in the amount of $722.73. autopay and were deducted from my ******** account. On 11/11/2021, a package from ***** came to my residence, the recipient that signed for the package was ****** ****. Enclosed was a 9 1/2 × 12 inch flat ***** envelope. I immediately called ***** when I didn’t receive the ****** as expected thinking maybe their was a mistake, they told me they only had the one package for me, it was delivered. I sent an email with pictures of what was delivered and what was on the packaging slip. ***** on 11/11/2021 email response was that my package was delivered at 11:35am with recipient signature * ****. They suggested I contact the seller. I did so by email and to the one that was listed on the return policy document that was shipped to me by ****** ******* ***. A Esther H******* responded by email, asking if there was a tracking #, I responded back and gave her the tracking information and never heard back from ****** ****** **** again. I have made several attempts to resolve this issue. I had to close my bank account because they continued taking payments after I requested they stop and cancel. My credit score was effected. I’m asking to be refunded the money I paid into this lease in the amount of $722.73, and correct my credit report, for breaking the agreement by Not shipping the item of a ****** ** *** ***.Customer Answer
