  I will never use this company again in my life, and I will tell anyone who will listen not to either. They replaced a sewer pipe in my basement after I came home one evening to standing sewage water in my basement and called the first 24/7 plumbing service I could find. They came out that night. They informed me that they would file a claim with my homeowners insurance and asked that I let them handle that, as they have done this sort of thing numerous times and are familiar with my insurance company. The guy filing the claim explained that the company would have to essentially tear my bathroom apart (literally) and clean up any water under the floor or in the walls, as well as clean up the water in basement. They would then replace my pipe under the basement floor that ran from my house to the road. He told me NUMEROUS times that my insurance would cover everything they were doing. I asked him how he knew and he told me multiple times that he has worked with my insurance for the exact same services multiple times in the past and was very familiar with what they would cover. They estimated it would be anywhere from $7,000-$9,000 total, and that I had a $1,000 deductible that I would have to pay. I was told that the only portion my insurance would not cover would be the actually drilling/removal of my concrete floor in basement which would be $1500 approx. I was also told they had a company that worked for them that would come and repair my bathroom to pre- damage condition. So at the end of it I paid around $8,000 plus $5,000 for bathroom repair- totaling $13,000 approx. and my insurance ONLY covered $8,000 approx. THEN, 5 months later I get a call out of the blue saying I have an unpaid bill to Roto Rooter for water mitigation in the amount of over $13,000!!!! That amount is in addition to all I had paid already! My insurance refused to cover stating it was WAY overpriced, and I knew NOTHING about it until 5 months later. They charged $26,000! They are scam artists

  Andrew came out and fix the drain in our kitchen. He gave us up front pricing before starting the work. He was fast, polite, and clean. I would recommend Roto Rooter to everyone.

  Big problem with Kitchen sink. Would not drain. I tried to plunge it. They came out within 2 hours and got it up and running! Lots of black gunk in the drain.

  It is never fun to have plumbing problems less than a month after purchasing your home. It was unfortunate but the speed of service and quality of work performed by Roto-Rooter was top notch. The plumber was professional and explained the repair in detail before performing the work. This work was completed on a Saturday and I was pleased to find out that the flat rate pricing is 7 days a week, no additional fees or hidden costs.
  I would recommend them especially when other companies mention charges for showing up and special rates for evenings and weekends.
