I bought 4 tires with the belief that I would get free tire repair, even though I declined road hazard. When I needed a tire to be repaired they lied to me and told me the tire could not be repaired, even though the area that needed repaired was in the tread. They told me I would have to buy a new tire. They did not honor the free tire repair. I want a free tire repair.Business Response

I went to this Tire Discounters on June 16th to patch a tire. The told me I needed to replace the tire. I authorized the work. They didn't get around to doing it until the last minute, literally 15 minutes before they closed. They damaged my alignment and my wheel. I had to take it to another business to fix. I spoke to Dominic on June 24 and he said he would submit a refund. He then called me back and told me he would not issue a refund and that the best he could do was a credit on future tires. They damaged my vehicle and will not refund the work.Business Response

We appreciate your business and take all customer concerns seriously. Our team is committed to giving every issue fair and thorough consideration. However, when our Regional Manager and Area Operations Manager reached out to assist, their efforts were met with resistance that hindered a productive conversation, which limited their ability to move the discussion towards a resolution.
We genuinely want to give you the opportunity to share your experience and provide any relevant details regarding the concern you raised about possible damage. At this time, we have not received any supporting evidence to help verify the claim. While we remain open to reviewing the situation, we do require documentation or proof in order to proceed further.
As with all customer matters, we value respectful and open dialogue which is essential for reaching a fair and constructive resolution. We remain committed to that approach and hope to continue the conversation in that spirit. Once we receive supporting documentation, we will gladly continue our review of your concerns.Customer Answer

This business misrepresented the conversation that took place between myself the Regional Manager. I accepted their offer of a full refund. When they later recanted that offer, I rejected their new fake offer of a future credit on a purchase. Do I need to have my repair shop I took my vehicle to after these morons damaged it write you a car doctor's note saying they damaged the wheel bearing?

Thank you for reaching
out and bringing this matter to our attention. We apologize for the
miscommunication; please understand that it was never our intention to mislead
you. Attached is a copy of the work
order you signed before any work was done, showing the tires selected and the
$75 discount that was agreed upon. It is
my understanding that, since opening this complaint, you have spoken with the
regional manager of that location. According
to our notes, he made an offer, which is set to expire on 6/28/25, to exchange

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, reasons for rejection are included below.I was told while actively signing the work order that what I was signing was an agreement to work on my car. They were already working on my car as I signed this, which tells me they completely forgot it even exists. I was rushed to sign this. The deception that occured was in that he told me while signing this that I would receive something other than what I received. I wish this was business where I could trust what was being said and did not need to assume I would be told something other than what was written.
I cannot afford any additional rates as I am a recent graduate whose bank account is zeroed out from student debt. Is there anything else you can offer? If not, my complaint with the BBB must stand.

We understand that
choosing new tires is an important decision, and we strive to offer a range of
options to suit a variety of needs, preferences, and budgets. At the time of your visit, three options were
in stock for your vehicle—each with distinct features and price points. After being offered a $75 courtesy discount
on the mid-grade tire, you chose the mid-grade option. As shown in the previously provided document,
you reviewed and signed the authorization for that specific purchase. The tires installed on your vehicle matched
what was listed in the signed agreement.
We aim to ensure every
customer feels confident in their selection, and we’re sorry to hear that you
felt rushed during the process. While we
cannot change the terms of a completed sale, our Regional Manager extended a
generous offer to upgrade your tires to the higher-grade model at a
significantly reduced rate, with our team covering half of the cost
difference. That offer, which was
initially available through June 28, 2025, was declined by you.
Recognizing your
situation, we are willing to extend the offer in good faith. This final offer will remain open until July
7, 2025. Please note that due to ongoing
changes in market pricing and supply costs, we will not be able to honor the
offer beyond this date.
We truly value your
business and hope this solution reflects our commitment to customer care. Should you wish to accept the offer, please
reach out to us before the deadline; Otherwise, Tire Discounters considers this
matter closed.Customer Answer

Brought my car here to get work done. This is the only shop that had worked on my car. I keep my car in the garage so no one else has access to it. They replaced the front two lower control arms, front two ball joints, four tires, did an oil change, a vehicle inspection and an alignment. While my vehicle was there, somehow a radiator hose was disconnected. Business claims they didn’t do it, that they weren’t even in the area to disconnect it. The lower control arm is right next to the hose. Car in question is ** *** ****. The radiator hoses being disconnected has lead to the complete destruction of my transmission. I’m seeking reimbursement for this transaction to cover my cost due to loss of vehicle, and their destruction of my personal property. I’ve already spoken to both the regional manager and the store manager, and both claim that it’s not their fault and they will not refund me.Business Response

6/12/25 I scheduled an appointment with my local tire discounters (new customer) for an oil change and to replace wiper blades- the website mentioned the blade checking was included but I reminded the appointment setter anyway at the location. 6/13/25 I dropped off my ***** ********** for the oil change and wiper check at apx 7:15 a.m. At around 10:45 I received a text from Larry (service manager) advising me my tire was flat and on the rim. I was shocked, I drove it there and it was not flat, I called and spoke with Garrett (manager ?) who started off rude, he began to tell me I needed new tires. I advised I understood but was worried about the flat today, as it was not flat when I dropped it off. He advised he would call me back, he did a little later and advised I had a screw in it, I asked if it was repairable- he told me he didn't know, and would not know until they began to fix it. I told him I would take a quote on tires maybe for the future, he didn't want to hear that, I never heard anything more, until I got a text that it was ready to pick up, i called and got someone else and I inquired about the tire, they were like yep your good to go. So I went to pick up the car- I was checking out it was over 160.00 because I was charged to repair the tire, no one ever confirmed that though- I asked about the wipers, reason or making the appointment, the person asked Larry and he was like no we didn't do any wipers for that car. My concern is that tire was not flat when I drove it there, I am truly convinced it was a ploy to get me to purchase new tires (female dropping off car alone) and then when I didn't bite, they were done with me. Funny also, that on the website (see attached) if they had completed what was supposed to come with an oil change the wipers would have been checked!! Also the person dropping me off will attest to the tire not being flat upon drop off- This location is not customer service oriented or ethical.Business Response

I had a guy with me that can confirm. I watched them drop my tires and wheel off an alignment rack onto the ground. I have plenty of photos of my truck and rims also it on the lift in the shop. I'm surprised they would let me leave like that and not offer to repair any of the damages. For your reference, reasons for rejection are included below. They did this a month ago and nothing happened except the regional manager said he didn’t do anything. He said he would replace 1 lug nut. He was unaware or the work that was actually completed on my truck and wasn’t concerned about my safety at all or telling me what happen. I had to ask about it. He decided to smoke a cigarette instead of helping fix what was destroyed at one of his stores.

After reviewing your
customer service case (**********), our records show that one lug nut was
replaced during your service because the original was damaged while the tire
was being removed. It appears the lug
nuts on your vehicle were swollen, which made removal more difficult. The replacement lug nut was the correct type
for your vehicle, but it didn’t match the others. Our understanding is that our
team offered to replace the remaining lug nuts to maintain consistency, but
that offer was declined.
Regarding the wheel
spacers, we kindly ask that you provide evidence of the damage so we can look
into it further.
Thank you for your
continued patience, and we look forward to resolving this matter.Customer Answer

They did replace one lug nut. They also did not offer to repair any that they damaged during installing my wheels. They also destroyed my wheel spacer by making it smaller to fit a smaller lug nut on, and this still doesn’t change the fact that all my wheels are scratched from the impact marks and the scratch mark from dropping my wheel. That’s definitely does not resolve the issue.

Thursday may 29th I took my car in to get all new tires, I was “apparently” aware that I had 2 broken wheel studs and 4 missing lug nuts. I had no idea end of story. So I go to pick up my car and drive about 400 feet to the store. Where my friend points out that I had those things missing/broken on my car. Tire discounters did not make me aware of any of this which is a liability issue from them. No statement on paperwork I called the unprofessional manager who told me “I thought you knew about that” it’s literally their job to inform of things like that. I didn’t even know you were allowed to put tires on a vehicle with broken wheel studs. This is ridiculous and unprofessional. For a place specializing in tires and wheels it’s a joke. Do not go here. The cherry on top is they then wrote me a quote for them to fix it(also a joke to me) because in what world would I trust a company that doesn’t inform you of literally life altering hazards your car has on it before sending you on your way. The pictures connected were taken directly after leaving in my car about 400 feet or so away from tire discounters at *******. No one let me know anything. I’m enraged these are supposed to be professionals.Business Response

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, reasons for rejection are included below.Regarding this complaint, there is more to add to this. After driving home with broken wheel studs I thought the problems would end there but I should have known better. The employee Jackson of tire discounters I believe that’s his name, proceeded to tell me before I left “did he tell you about that wheel bearing” to which I responded no. Jackson then proceeded to tell me “Nevermind then” and go over the alignment with me. The day after I made it home my car was making a horrible grinding noise. Turns out my front passenger wheel bearing was out and due to that it stripped my axle as a direct cause. I personally had to buy a new cv axle, a new hub, and a new wheel bearing. And get them all replaced. So I called tire discounters to speak to the manager. He then told me that he had “taken me into the shop and showed me” which absolutely did not ever happen. The only paperwork I got was for an alignment. When taking the tire out my wheel hub just came out. This is now escalated to a bigger issue, a liability issue. The employees of Washington court house tire discounters are sending people out with dangerous vehicles and not letting them know. And the only thing they can respond with is “I thought you knew” this tire discounters sent me out in a vehicle that could have gotten me and others injured or even worse killed and all they told me about was an alignment. Then proceeded to offer a quote for a job. This is insanity I have no idea what to say. I am demanding reparations for this because my car was out for multiple days on top of my life being in danger. I don’t just want a refund. I want part cost labor cost and a refund on my tires. They directly didn’t tell me anything because they didn’t want to deal with it themselves. So I bring it to corporate in hopes you have backbone enough to stand behind your company. If not this is a liability issue that can be taken up legally in court. Once again part cost, labor cost and refund.

On 01/2/25 they recommended that it was the sway bar links that need to be replaced. I got the sway bar links replaced with them the same day.
