      If I could give this company 0 stars I would. This mortgage company failed to meet the sellers deadline because of lack of effort and cost us a higher interest rate and additional payout to the seller. Absolute worst experience. I do not recommend this company.

      I would never recommend this company!!!! 1 star is a high rating. So many mistakes on our morgage down to listing our home at another address. That mistake messed up our insurance policy. 2nd we had to use them for escrow. They sent us and overage check i callled and let them know that didn't seem right. Then tell us a few months later we are negative in escrow. You can't get your questions answered by a live person they want you to use an email to communicate urgent matters. Our loan officer received their check and was never to be heard of again.

      Stay away - first red flags - inconsistencies - constantly calling me AFTER CLOSING asking more banking paperwork to prove my income. Charged me 300% on missing insurance IN THE PAST - was not my fault - i bought a new one as soon as i found out ( Old HOI was cancelled because i did not reply in physical mail which was not even delivered ).

      I had to give a one star or I wouldn't even have given them that much credit. This is by far the worst company to work with. They have constantly added money to my escrow which almost doubled my payment. I've given them all the documents they've required and it's still not fixed. You can not talk to anyone in that department, ever! When you call customer service they just take a message and nobody ever replies. I would refinance my house through my credit union but the interests rates are through the roof right now. So I'm stuck dealing with them.

      Terrible experience with Benjamin ******* in Wilmington, NC he was terrible, condescending tone almost from the very beginning.
      His online slogan is:
      "We are dedicated to answering any of your mortgage questions and will guide our clients through the home loan process to ensure an efficient and personalized loan experience."
      Not true at all!!!
      He was very Incompetent and not dedicated at all to answer any of my mortgage questions and did not guide me through the home loan process. He un-ensured me an non-efficient and un-personalized loan experience about townhomes properties procedures and regulations with my FHA loan.
      Sebastian on the other hand was so great, helpful and pleasant . Very respectful as well as professional. He answered the phone after hours and on weekends. Ben from the very beginning informed me that he stops answering at 5PM and does not answer on the weekend.
      Ben talked down to me on the phone and via email and he even referred to Sebastian (his business partner) as his helper... he rectified after calling him that and switched to " his partner" This tells me Ben feels like he is above other folks. Ben seems to be on edge all the time, kind of scary.
      What a bad reputation Ben is given to Cross Country Mortgage.

      Taylor was extremely helpful and helped us throughout the entire process. No major issues on their part. We got a VA loan so some hurdles to get over but no big expense and we got it done. I would use again.

      Do NOT use Cross Country Mortgage. They listed the wrong month, day, and year for my date of birth on loan documents and then claimed they did not know how to correct it. This caused a delay in closing which they wanted to charge an extra fee for. They delayed closing again and again and charged fees each time to lock in the interest rate. They were ready to close and then demanded more documents over and over again, always needing more fees to cover the delays. They sold my info to others since I immediately was bombarded with calls from affiliated scammers. They are incompetent and a scam. Avoid them like the plague!!!

      This company is horrible they do not care about you at all your a dollar bill to them, if you do not qualify dont even bother trying to get guidance from them also they will just hard pull credit without your consent ecspecially Jennifer Kanaian You DO NOT want to work with her and her team she is god awful and by fart the worst person there

      I cannot say enough good things about this team! We were out of state buyers. Joe kept us informed the whole time & answered any questions we had. It is obvious that the team cares about their home buyers and they go the extra mile to give you a good experience. My husband and I were so impressed. Joe Manglardi does not compare to any of the other lenders we have used. Absolutely amazing.

      I will never recommend this place to anyone again. I have bought 3 homes using cross country mortgage and currently reside in my 3rd home. Never had an issue until I decided to use there forbearance program offered during Covid relief. I was very skeptical at first because I have never used one of these options before. But my wife’s work shut down so I felt like it was the best choice to ensure we were good through the Covid situation. I made sure to ask all about how it worked and the cross country associates ensured me it was very easy and when I come off the forbearance program that I simply can put that amount owed on the end of my loan and resume payments. That was the complete opposite of what happened. I have called the loss mitigation department around 25 times to see what all documents they needed from me in order to complete the process. Each time I got different answers and steered in 5 different ways. I would submit the documents requested and then I would receive a call saying they needed the same documents I submitted. I started to question there communication and organizational skills because magically they would find my documents submitted after I would become frustrated. Then 4-5 days later they would call back and request the same documents. Keep in mind as all this nonsense was going on, my home was getting closer to the active foreclosure as they call it. When I heard this I kept calling asking what they needed from me because a foreclosure can scare anyone. They continued to list the same documents. So I felt like I was being ran in circles. Then I have a Sheriff show up to my door to serve me papers from cross country mortgage about a foreclosure. From here I have never been so mad as I have been trying to be compliment and give them everything they need. And after each associate would tell me different things it just delayed everything and put my family’s home in a foreclosure state. I now have to call there law office they use and figure out
