      I have had issues every month for the past few months.
      I get the same deposit every month. It's a paper check, and I have been receiving it for 6 years. Any time I've deposited it into a different account, or at a different branch, I don't get the $500 advance on my check. They held the check for 6 days one time.

      I have two huntington debit cards. One is being replaced, and I've been using the second. The second card is the only access to money I have. Luckily I noticed yesterday that the card wasn't showing on the app last night. I called today, and they reported the card lost/stolen and shut it off. They decided it wasn't important enough to let me know.
      So the only way to find out, is to be in public and let the card be declined.

      On 11/29/2022 I went to Huntington Branch On HeatherDowns In Toledo Ohio, 43614. I initially went through the drive thru to make a deposit. I then was asked to come into the branch. After entering the branch I was addressed by a bank teller. I explained that I would like to make a deposit and inquired about when the funds would be available. I also indicated that I had a family emergency and established a new account with their organization because my other branch back home is 2.5 hours away and I needed a local branch. I was informed that my deposit would be available 11/30/22. After reviewing my account this morning my account did not have the deposit and was in a negative status. I then contacted the customer service center and spoke with a very rude person by the name of ***** who offered me any alternative or resolution. ***** has the worse level of customer service and lack of compassion for my situation. I explained to the representative that I was hours from home and had a sick child and a loss of a loved one unexpectedly. The CSR supervisor did not even extend her condolences or find a solution. This is beyond disrespectful and inconsiderate and less than desirable from an agent. I am
      hereby requesting that funds are verified TODAY a with chase and the hold is released. I expect to NEVER receive this kind of treatment from this organization where I have entrusted my financial needs. ***** was informed that the complaint was going to be imitated and still made no attempt to prevent this formal complaint from occurring. Had I known or been educated that the hold would’ve occurred I would not have made the deposit. I wasn’t given the option to make an informed decision as a result of the teller not communicating this vital information. I will also follow up with consumer protection attorney generals office with my concerns. Please release the hold on my account today.

      I ordered cheque books. I was issued 2 cheque books with cheque numbers 1001 through 1040. The cheque book was lost in mail. Huntington bank cancelled the cheques and sent me 2 new cheque books with cheque numbers 1041 through 1080.

      By error of huntington bank, they cancelled cheque numbers 1001 through 1042 (2 additional cheques from new cheque book). This error was unknown to me since I was confirmed on phone that only the first 2 cheque books were cancelled.

      I issued a cheque for $16,000 to my son who lives in canada. The cheque was deposited in a Canadian bank and converted to CAD (Canadian dollars) at the time of deposit. The account was credited by CAD 20,926.08 as per the prevailing exchange rate. However, 2 weeks later the cheque bounced because of the wrong cancellation by Huntington bank.

      At this time, the exchange rate was different and the account was debited by CAD22,956 which is CAD1,300 higher than the original credit. The Canadian bank is not at fault since they did everything correct as per procedure.

      This is clearly Huntington bank’s mistake which has caused cascading effect and resulted in this loss of CAD1,300.



      When I called Huntington’s customer service, they refused to accept their fault and credit the money to me (so I can in turn pay my son who lost money). The call was escalated to **** ******** - senior supervisor with Michigan corporate office. She reports to
      ********* **** - Manager with Michigan corporate office. **** refused to accept responsibility of the bank and credit the amount to me.



      I would like to complaint to BBB and take this to senior management of Huntington Bank. They owe me the said amount plus damages for the harassment they have caused me.

      I believe that Huntington Bank deliberately withheld the check sent by my bank until after the payment due date to apply late charges to my account deliberately.

      Case in point, I have had Huntington bank for just six months of mortgages, and for the past three months, I have received late fees. My prior mortgages were paid the same way for the past 20 years, and for the last 13 years before Huntington, I have never been late on my mortgage.

      Last October, my bank ***** ***** sent a check out for my mortgage on the 8th of October 2022, and Huntington stated that they didn’t receive it until Oct 17th, 2022. A day later than my due date.
      I decided to change my payment date to a week earlier, so on November 1st, ***** ***** sent Huntington Bank a check for my mortgage. Huntington Bank claims a check sent out a week earlier didn’t reach them until November 17th, 2022. I call that how convenient.

      I believe that Huntington Bank is falsely and deliberately applying mailed checks a day after their due date. As I previously stated, I have been paying my mortgage on time over the last 13th years, and with six months at Huntington using the same payment system, I have four late recorded payments.
      The prior mortgage company I had, I never had to speak with them, but I have been having many different problems with Huntington and the past six months where I needed to call them to fix an issue.


      I have enclosed two documents to show.

      In October, ***** ******s proof of payment shows that I was sent on the 8th of October and cleared on the 19th of October. November’s proof of payment was sent on the 1st of November and didn’t clear until the 16th of November. These inconsistencies are glaring and only benefits Huntington Bank.

      There were some zelle transactions that said that they were delivered on my end, but not received by the recipient, my mother (********** ****). I have had the transactions investigated with no results, but I would like for a mispayment investigation to be completed in order for the funds to be recovered. The transactions and the confirmation numbers are attached.

      My complaint is with Huntington bank. I did not authorize any body or sign agreement for any one to take anything out of my account. They let Turner acceptance or some company ta withdrawal 6. 241. 52 out of my account twice. I went into the bank to get the charges reverse and closed my account and they told me they couldn’t since they already paid these people

      This must be a inside job usually when you do t have enough money in your account to pay people they reject the payment and you owe a over draft fee. How In Gods name will they let payments over 6.000 be paid when I have only ten dollars or less in my account

      This is regarding my second home at *** ** ** ******* ** *********** ** *****

      I sent 1600 for my mortgage payment in Sept.
      I sent 1000 for my mortgage payment in Oct.
      I sent 800 for my mortgage payment in Nov.

      I called on 10/26 and spoke with ******. I asked that my overage be applied toward escrow. Instead she moved 3400 to escrow. As a result the company has been calling, harassing, and mailing threatening correspondence stating my house is in foreclosure. How does this happen? I'm not able to speak with customer service when I call, only the collections department.

      I want my payments properly applied and I want the $1,010 in overage sent to escrow. I need this to be done in order to determine my Dec 1, 2022 payment. I was supposed to be sent an updated annual analysis, instead I'm being told I'm going to lose my home.

      This matter has been escalated via the Max complaints procedure followed by this company, yet I've not received a call back despite my many attempts to have this matter resolved.

      ON AUGUST 27 2022 WE WERE INFORMED BY HUNTINGTON BANK THAT WE HAS A ZERO BALANCE IN OUR CHECKING DUE TO A CHECK BIENG CASHED IN THE AMT. OF $8,000. IT WAS DETERMINED THAT MAIL WAS STOLEN FROM THE POST OFFICE AND THE CHECK WAS ALTERED AND CASHED AT BANK OF *******. THIS WAS CONFIRMED BY HUNTINGTON BANK AND A POLICE REPORT WAS THEN FILEDM. ON AUGUST 29TH OUR ACCOUNT WAS CLOSED AND THE BANK STARTED THE PROCESS OF GETTING OUR MONEY BACK. AS OF TODAY NOVEMBER 22, 2022 WE STILL HAVE NOT HAD OUR MONEY RETURNED. THAT'S ALMOST 3 MONTHS.       Okay so I am about to tell you about my absolutely horrible experience banking with Huntington. So I have banked with them for years and it's always been fine until this week. So this week I decided to transfer some money to my around to a different account because I wanted to make some financial changes. So when I do my Huntington account hits 0 for a day and as the money is being transfer Something else automatically pulls from my account. Now the thing is my account os supposed to be locked just in case this happened but it still gets through somehow. So now im hit with a fee from Huntington and a fee from the other company. And the money transfer bounces because there isn't enough left in my account. So I'm hit with a fee again. So now my money is stuck in limbo. So now My money is stuck in transfer for a few days and during this time more things try to take from my account, which means more fees and more bouncing of charges. And this goes on till I have over 100 dollars in fees! It's insane. All I wanted to do was fund a different account. And support won't fix it.

      I deposited 3 workers comp checks (each check in the amount of 1146.66) into my Huntington bank account on November 13th. Instead of clearing the checks they put a hold on them for fraud. After calling customer service I was told the checks were on hold until November 18th. The 18th came along and while the checks cleared from my workers comp company they still held the funds saying that they would clear today November 19th although my workers comp company informed me the checks already cleared. I called the bank again today and they informed me that they were closing my account and sending my money via a check in 7-10 days which I can not wait for I have rent and many bills to pay. The reason I was given was the checks I was depositing had the same amount (my workers comp was behind on payments and sent me 3 checks at the same time and it’s the same amount everytime). This is unethical I am no longer able to pay my rent, car, etc because of this. They refuse to let me go in to withdraw my money instead saying now that I owe them 500 dollars from an old account that was never settled. It was. Now however I can’t prove that old account was paid since they deleted my banking app account. I even asked the bank to just take the 500 dollars out of the money that cleared from the workers comp checks and let me withdraw the remaining funds so I can at least pay my rent and they refused. Saying that wouldn’t be possible and on Monday they will send out a check that takes 7-10 days minus whatever they deem I owe on the old account. This is illegal holding of my money. So in summary I deposited money, it was held, it cleared, my account was closed and now not only am not receiving my money for 7-10 days put it will be for less then the value of my deposited checks because of money I (owe) them on an old account. This has to be illegal.
