I am trying to get a home loan and I need my forbearance papers to give to the my loan officer ***** ***** ************. The Huntington National Bank reported. Inaccurate information regarding my account. So I need (The Huntington National Bank) forbearance department (******** **** or her manager ***** M. ***** to state on company letterhead that I was in forbearance and the mortgage lates reporting were an error for 7/1/21 and 8/1/22. These aren’t 30 day lates, each late is 120 day lates which an underwriter looks at as foreclosure states. In other words I would have to wait an error because I need to prove to the credit bureaus the accurate information so I cannot get pre-approved for a loan for a home. Technically they should be writing the credit bureau but my loan officer is willing to do the extra let work so I can the pre-approval right away instead of waiting until next year. I have been a customer with The Huntington National Bank for many years and sold the home and it every penny I owed on it.. I never foreclosed on the house that's the least they can do. I do give permission for you to contact my loan officer ***** ***** at ************ as proof of my complaint.

Opened up a checking account with Huntington Bank. They offered a service to me called Stand by cash where you can use up to $1000. Never was told they could lower it and report it to the credit report and take a hit on your credit. Never once was I late on a payment, not even with all the credit cards I hold, but they hit my report twice. Went from $1000 to $800 then to $500. Now what I would like to know and believe you may be able to help. How many people's credits are this effecting besides just mine? I have asked them to remove it but didn't happen. Sent them some feedback and got someone calling me from complaint department that told me it is their rules. Well now if I close the account, it again takes a hit on my credit report. I worked hard to keep my report clean sure would like to know how many more are taking a hit on this program of theirs.Business Response

On 6/29 I attempted to access my checking account online was unable to log in. I sent a message via Facebook asking for help resets provided no help… after several hours being run in circles via messager. As well as calls no answers reasons given went to branch no info on acct … unable to assist relieved a rude call stating account frozen will be closed no other account will be opened ever you will receive information in the mail. It’s now 22 days later no letters no communication no anything. Except the following processsed several payments and then returned said payment after frozen?? I have text from then stating such I have been hung up on ignored had my disability frozen have hundreds in fees from bills returned after payment . I have no ability to purchase my medication or pay my bills I need answers I just want to close the account ASAP SO I CAN PAY MY BILLS ! I have tried on three separate days , within 3 weeks, to close and turn in a safe deposit box that the rent is paid for in advance. The first time I was told that the bank officer was on vacation and they set up an appointment for the next week because I would have to sign a form. The next week I could not make it to the appointment as I was tied up at my medical office. I went into the bank at 1:45 that afternoon in hopes to be there after their lunch hour. Again there was NO officer there and I was told that I missed my appointment.
Today I went to the bank at 3:30 and again no bank officer was there. I got the "but you HAD an appointment that you missed from the smug teller. She crossed her arms and said that she could not touch the lock box keys.
I told her that I had family in the banking industry and there is always 2 officers at the bank to provide service and she said that they had no manager.
I had been a customer at that bank location for 33 years and Huntington took over that bank and changed the fees and paid one tenth of the interest that other local banks paid. They also allowed my business account to be hacked and said "o well these things happen when banks get bought out". Prior to Huntington taking over
my bank I had 2 personal accounts with Huntington.
I called Huntington customer Service (************) to discuss this with them and I was told that they have nothing to do with the safe deposit boxes.
So Huntington Bank has nothing to do with this and the bank branch has "no manager".Business Response

Trying to get a lien release for a car loan that I refinanced with another finanical institution. I have called several times with out success. The loan started when I lived in Kentucky and I have moved to Nebraska. I don't know why it was not updated when I changed my address last year but that is beside the point now. I have had three cases opened to resolved this and it seems like they keep trying to release the KY Title, I keep telling them I am in Nebraska, it's a Nebraska title. There is a communication gap somewhere and I am not able to get past it. So I need someone from Huntington to call ***** ****** ********* at ###-###-#### or ###-###-#### and figure out what needs to be done to release the lien and I can put my new financial institution on the title. I have been trying to get the bank to send my title of my RV trailer to the state of Idaho since I moved there in September of 2021. The bank has been inept handling this situation. Due to the bank not getting the situation handled I have not been able to register my trailer since Dec. of 2021, which means I have not been able to use and I am making payments on something I can't use. The bank finally did try and send the title supposedly to Idaho Motor Vehicles in June of 2022 but it was returned to the bank. I placed another phone call to the bank (at least the 10 phone call) and spoke with a manager who was supposed to fix it and overnight the title to Idaho Motor vehicles. The manager told me the would call me back and has not done so. I have left multiple messages with the manager to call me and have not heard anything. I tried calling the bank this morning again and while on hold for a manager I was hung up on. The bank needs to fix this situation. Why am paying interest to them on something I can't use? Maybe a refund of my interest payments is in order?Business Response

I received notice that I had been charged for 2 overcharges to my account. The math didn't add up, so I called my local branch. She attempted to explain that I couldn't see what was on her screen and that her screen and my screen are often different. When it comes to taking money from customers, one would assume we would both see the same information, but I guess not. Upon reading the letters in my message box, I was charged $72 in fees for 2 transactions "overdrawn" by a transaction that wasn't yet processed. That transaction processed 3 days later, and they charged me a fee for that as well, as it "overdrew" my account. How was I charged fees for 2 transactions a few days prior for a transaction that hadn't even processed? And then charged again once it did process? If that transaction didn't go through, then my account wasn't originally overdrawn. Talk about taking money from someone, hoping they don't notice. Those original fees should have never been charged because of a "pending" transaction. Then to charge again because I'm $3 overdrawn...because of their fees....is shameful.Business Response

On June 24, 2022 I have deposited a Canadian Personal Check for $574.00 US from my friend to my account *********** at Huntington Bank Branch at *** **** **** ****** ** * ********.
I was told by the teller it will take about 10 business days.
I came to the bank on Wednesday July 6 to check on the deposit status because nobody replied to my phone inquiry. The same teller told me she had sent the check to the Canadian bank and she would call me next day to advise the status. Naturally she didn't call.
The branch manager ****** (?) called me on July 8 that check just went out and it will take 6-8 weeks to appear on my account.
So my check was sitting in the band for over two weeks without movement and now I have to wait another two month to get my money. I feel it is totally unreasonable time for a bank to withhold my money and demand immediate deposit to my account of $574.00 USBusiness Response

Loan paid off on June 23, 2022. Letter received dated June 24 saying paid in full. Letter received dated July 1 saying bank has released lien electronically. Bank has never completed this. I have spent 4 hours on phone with bank. I live in NC and have NC title with lien. Bank says that the car was purchased in ohio and they released the lien in ohio (which is also false and they have not yet completed). NC said they would mail me the title once the lien is electronically released. I am trying to sell the van and lost 3 buyers since I do not have the title yet.
This bank is incompetent and refuses to help me, keeps transferring to different departments and refuses to help. I need the lien released and title in hand.Business Response
