Single worse bank beside ***** Fargo. Their fees are blatant theft. **************** is a joke. If only our government would focus on the theft taking place by our own banks. Disgusting.

This review is directed towards the Huntington fraud department specifically. I deposited a check last week from an insurance carrier as I am a contractor and am doing repair work for a homeowner.The check was issued by insurance carrier and paid to the order of the homeowner and his mortgage company. Both parties endorsed the check, and the homeowner handed it over to me, the contractor. I deposit the check in my account. I initially received an email claiming that the check was accepted. However, the next day I noticed there are 2 simultaneous holds in my account for double the check amount.I go into the bank explain the situation in whole. As I am there, another lady(customer) is there crying out about how ********************** allowed fraud to her account which would delay her husbands funeral! She was offered a $50 gift card by the Huntington bank as an Im sorry!The teller as well as bank manager begin explaining to me how the fraud department of Huntington is the root cause of most customer complaints towards **********************. They informed me of how the department flags an outrageous amount of non-fraud transactions while allowing huge amounts of fraud to occur. Seemed ironically unironic!Anyways, when it comes to resolving my check hold, I am given some proprietary form by Huntington that I need to get the homeowner and his out of state mortgage company to sign (who have both already endorsed the. check). Everyone you speak to at Huntington will just blame their policies and leadership, but no one is able or willing to make any changes in order to maintain a reputable banking system.Luckily I can afford to fund the damage restorations, but what if I couldnt and this hold caused the damages to get worse, costing my client more money? I guess Id get a $50 gift card!?The Huntington National Bank

Ive been a customer since 2021 about the time they merged with TCF. *** called numerous times about getting a debit card sent to my address after I had gotten scammed of 150$ having me deactivate my original card for security measures. (Which is fine, thats not the problem.) the problem is going 5 months WITHOUT a way to purchase necessities at mega corps because you need a card or cash. Why cant they print the cards at the branches anymore like when they did when Huntington merged with TCF? This is crazy. I should have gotten my INSURED money back from the scam and a card to purchase within the first month. The business is just awful. And I didnt like the stories people have said on here about this business either. Go to a credit union of your choosing. Dont waste your time here.The Huntington National Bank

I cant understand why resetting a password has to be an week long ordeal, the process never works online, its really bad practice when i cant access my accounts because of an password. i hace 2 other banks and never have a single problem. I THINK ONE STAR IS TOO HIGH! I CAME CLOSE TO BEING SCAMMED AND FROZE MY ACCT AS A PRECAUTIONARY MEASURE, I WENT IN AND **** HELPED ME IN THE CRANBERRY TWP OFFICE WE OPENED ANOTHER CHECKING ACCT & WITH ***** ADVICE I LEFT A MINIMAL BALANCE IN MY OLD ACCT DUE TO MY SS CHECKS BEING DIRECT DEPOSITED. BIG MISTAKE. THIS BRANCH TOOK IT UPON THEMSELVES TO CLOSE MY ACCT. WITHOUT EVEN GIVING ME NOTICE ITS SINCE HELD UP MY SS MONEY FOR 3 MOS! MY ADVICE IS TO STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS BANK.The Huntington National Bank

Huntington doesn’t even deserve the 1 star. I have been a customer since 2017 and my accounts were unexpectedly closed recently and for no valid reason. They claim that they notified me of the closure in April which is a lie as no mail was received, and at present I’m dealing with bounced payments all over the place and late payment fees as a result of the bank’s poor handling and incompetent customer service. My life insurance, kids tuition, rental service fees, credit card payments etc were all unprocessed or returned as a result of your actions. This is not how you handle your customers affairs when it comes to banking and you have a responsibility to ensure this is handled delicately. I invite the senior team at Huntington to call me to demonstrate their commitment to client relationship management and reputation.The Huntington National Bank

I had been banking with Huntington for over 16 years and after careful thought and consideration I have made the decision to close all my accounts. Reasons being I have had several issues over the past few years regarding disputes, inconsistencies between branch locations, failures to provide notice to customers regarding policies, and when I ask for proof of said policy the information is always internal and is never provided. DO NOT bank here. Bank with someone more trustworthy and honest!The Huntington National Bank

After opening up an account, I tried calling several times to ask a few questions and couldn't get a hold of anyone. After calling several times I finally got a hold of a representative and told him to close my account. I was told that my account would be closed. I am now getting text messages and emails stating it is still open and to deposit money. There is no option to cancel this account on your website.The Huntington National Bank
