      Huntington doesn’t even deserve the 1 star. I have been a customer since 2017 and my accounts were unexpectedly closed recently and for no valid reason. They claim that they notified me of the closure in April which is a lie as no mail was received, and at present I’m dealing with bounced payments all over the place and late payment fees as a result of the bank’s poor handling and incompetent customer service. My life insurance, kids tuition, rental service fees, credit card payments etc were all unprocessed or returned as a result of your actions. This is not how you handle your customers affairs when it comes to banking and you have a responsibility to ensure this is handled delicately. I invite the senior team at Huntington to call me to demonstrate their commitment to client relationship management and reputation.

      I had been banking with Huntington for over 16 years and after careful thought and consideration I have made the decision to close all my accounts. Reasons being I have had several issues over the past few years regarding disputes, inconsistencies between branch locations, failures to provide notice to customers regarding policies, and when I ask for proof of said policy the information is always internal and is never provided. DO NOT bank here. Bank with someone more trustworthy and honest!

      After opening up an account, I tried calling several times to ask a few questions and couldn't get a hold of anyone. After calling several times I finally got a hold of a representative and told him to close my account. I was told that my account would be closed. I am now getting text messages and emails stating it is still open and to deposit money. There is no option to cancel this account on your website.

      Huntington Is a TERRIBLE bank to bank with.. I have fraud done to my account filed a claim for the credits to be reversed.. I received an automatic call from Huntington. I was then notified that that was a fraud they reversed the claims and have yet to reopen my claim I’ve requested 4 times.. now they are telling me if they person chooses not to reopen it I will be at a lost of my money.. it’s unfair because I work for my hard earned money also it’s not fair we are not updated in the many ways people are using tactics to present to be the bank

      Huntington Bank closed our business account without our authorization. How do you close an account that has almost 14 K in it without any explanation. Then because it happened on a Friday they tell me they will have it fixed Monday. Monday came and went Tuesday I woke up to still no money back in my account Later that morning they put the money in my account but had the gall to put it on a hold. Hold for what? My own money did you stole? The most troubling thing is the attitude of anybody I talk to. Excuses like oh it happens is not comforting at all.

      I opened an account online, and used it once. My second transaction (bill pay) never went through, and I got a letter saying they could not verify me. They locked me out of my account. They forced my account closure, and would not tell me why. I was in the branch and they could not help. Absolutely unacceptable. And they charged me for checks that I never used.

      It is very unfortunate that one interaction with a banking associate can destroy a customers relationship with a corporation. I have been with Huntington bank for possibly a decade or more and never had an experience like this before. A complete lack of awareness and consideration for a company's clients at the Twinsburg, Ohio location. Simply wishing to drop off a POA order for my parents account which I had done for two other corporate banks that afternoon without issue. I understand some institutions are different than others, but the experience was what prompted me to write a complaint. After waiting in line for a teller without being asked by 5 employees how I could be helped I was told for this I had to wait for an actual banker. I and 3 other families waited 45min for two bankers, no acknowledgement or consideration to expedite their tasks. A very junior associate attempted to assist me but could not complete any tasks without the banker ******* assistance who was in no hurry to offer assistance and seemed to be fabricating busy work as I sat visibly irritated (Informing us she has a very important call she must make first before she can offer assistance, that being as we overheard her notifying someone a personal item was forgotten). At this point she has no intentions of being helpful, accommodating or sympathetic. Naturally and matter of factly without viewing the account on the computer at all. I'm told nothing can be done without another document. The passive aggressive attitude, non-helpful careless flippant approach I've never experienced at a banking institution. This individual clearly has no regard for the whole of the institution and obviously has no regard for her own accountability. I will not be using this branch again and intend too close said acct. There are too many other banking institutions out there without having to deal with these types of characters. It's sad that we have to write these reviews of which there are many.

      This message is too inform the Huntington bank fraud department that I have filed a recent complaint with the **** ******** ********* ****** in reference to harassment from your bank.
      you are illegally charging me crazy fees and overcharging me twice for a draft where no funds have been deducted out of my account or Huntington's bank.
      in the event that my paycheck does not show up properly I will sue Huntington bank.

      I already left this bank due to how shady it operates but I'd like to share my husband's current situation. I truly believe this bank will set you up to get overdrafted. He has subscriptions that come out monthly on certain days. Huntington will then charge him at random for these subscriptions seemingly when he is low on money and no where near the date they're supposed to process. If we order groceries for pick up, the store will take their money, then the bank will take it BACK and hold it in his account for over a week and it'll randomly disappear again. We had the exact same account types and this never happened to mine. Now he paid our rent by echeck and the payment processed and was accepted by our leasing office. Then the bank TOOK IT BACK and claimed they don't process payments over the weekend. Which is a lie because I paid through echeck plenty of times. It was removed from his account and processed and accepted by leasing office on a Friday mind you. Once they took it back, then all the out of place subscriptions came out. It seems as if they're intentionally farming overdraft fees from people. This bank makes it impossible to budget properly. They should be ashamed of themselves. There needs to be a Class Action case against then at this point.

      This bank purchased my mortgage from the company I originally went with and ever since it’s been an awful experience. There was two months where I was unable to make payments due to job loss but as soon as I started working I immediately started making payments and was trying to work with them on an adjustment to pay off the two missed months. But every time I communicated with them I was lied to. I was making payments as I said and I relieved a call a few months later stating that I was now 4 months behind and I asked how if I have been making payment? They told me that my payments were either in suspension or returned to me. I received no money back from them at all. I would even ask when the last payment they received was and they would say the month that they are calling about. This pattern continued until now where they called me today to say I am now 7 months behind and want to know when I can pay the full amount despite them knowing I’m working with the homesavers program. It feels like they are trying to purposely make me foreclose on my home. I don’t think anyone should trust them or bank with them. I hope they go under completely
