Absolutely the worst service! I'm very upset going back and forward with customer service on the phone and in the branch. I deposited a check, and they put a hold on it which led to them putting a complete hold on my account. Can't log in, can't get any other funds out so basically not able to get any money, and nobody has an explanation, nor will they allow me to speak to the holds department. Same goes for in the branch, tellers don't have the right info, and telling me opposite of what they're saying on the phone. This needs to be resolved immediatelyThe Huntington National Bank

If I could do zero stars I would. I purchased my home through Huntington a couple years ago, that process was a nightmare. At one point they lost all of my documents, all my tax returns, pay stubs and signed disclosures I had provided. I had to provide them again. Currently Im selling my home and sadly the buyer is going through Huntington. The purchase has been going on for almost 10 weeks at this point. ***************** have been the most rude unprofessional loan officers to work with. They do not stay in contact with the buyer, no agents are involved and my ex husband is purchasing the home. Everything should have been smooth however from the get go they messed up. He went in to apply for a purchase and they disclosed as a refinance. He never stated 20% would be put down but the next set of disclosures stated he was. It took over a week to just get that resolved. ***************** are never in the office. They do not return phone calls. Honestly if I was ******* I would be very upset as shes the assistant but me & the buyer have never spoken to ******* throughout this, ******* is taking the heat for all of it. Two weeks ago they were aware how urgent things were. Every time they request something new they dont sent it on to the processors as urgent I had to call and ask. When the last three items they were aware were urgent. Ive received numerous close dates and then no follow up with where we are and the day comes and goes. We have to reach out for any information. We went through 3 loan officers and ended with ******* Never again will either of us do business with Huntington. The level of rude that comes from this ************** lack of professionalism is sad. Never have I encountered such awful people. ***************** should lose their jobs or be demoted for the way they perform. Years after my purchase I wonder how ******* is still an employees as numerous complaints have been made. I am personally a mortgage loan processor and this was all wrong.The Huntington National Bank

I went to Huntington Bank this morning after opening an online account which turned out to be "you must come in and verify your ID" and when I got there, I got the third degree and then finally found out because a debt to Huntington was discharged (prior marriage) ************************************** for life from opening a credit card with Huntington. This is insanity as the debt was long ago discharged and you and I both know they charged it off to bad. Not only was I not allowed to open an account, I felt totally humiliated considering the bankruptcy was that long ago when married to my first husband who is now deceased. Huntington, if this is true, their policy is unfair to those of us who are working so hard to make our credit scores better, what horrible business practices. No forgiveness, it's no wonder there ratings are so low all over the different sites that rate their performance standardsThe Huntington National Bank

1 starI tried to connect my ***** account to my Huntington Bank account. I couldn't, so I called HB customer service, and then their supervisor. They incorrectly held a deposit into my account yesterday. They didn't tell me that my checking account as a whole had been held for a week. So I made another deposit last night. Now all my money is being held! Can't connect to ***** or anything else. The supervisor said she had no power to fix this. She said I "probably shouldn't have made another deposit." AS SOON AS I GET MY FUNDS (more than $1,400) I AM CLOSING THIS ACCOUNT! This bank is dishonest and incompetent.Review fromFrancisco S

Horrible customer service. Horrible conflict resolution. Horrible experience. Everything takes **** business days to resolve. No follow up calls. Many unanswered questions by incompetent staff.The Huntington National Bank

1 starI recently opened an account with Huntington Bank and I have set up direct deposit through my employer. Friday when I got paid I got an actual check because my direct deposit has not been approved yet. Before I used the mobile deposit I called customer service to see how much of my check would be available right away. The person I spoke to said that $500 would be available. I used the mobile deposit thinking I would have some money to get groceries but then I find out that there was a hold on my whole pay check and the hold would not be lifted until 08/04/22. Not only did they put a hold on my check but I cant even get into my mobile app because they are afraid I will try to remove or withdraw the money. I am not able to check the status of my deposit online and I have no money until the hold is lifted. Worst customer service ever!Review fromdaniel d

I deposited a ******** check. This is not the first ******** check i have deposited here. I went to log in to see if the check had cleared and I could not log in. Then it would not let me change my password. I had received ZERO communication about what I am about to write... I called THEM, and was told they decided to close ALL of my accounts because they deemed the check to be fraudulent. NOTE: I have deposited with them from this bank multiple times. The thing that makes me most upset is that they didn't even TRY to contact ME. I had to contact them. I would never, ever recommend using Huntington to anyone. I had accounts there for a decade. It was fine as TCF. Huntington is a joke. How can you close all of someone's accounts and not so much as send an email or call. No one should ever bank here.The Huntington National Bank

AWFUL! Ongoing over a year. $22k (yes, THOUSAND) OVERCHARGE on property payoff. $9k (THOUSAND) MISSING from ***************** and they can't find it. The WORST customer service I have EVER had. Even attorneys are flaberglasted. Above what BBB can do, so on to ************************************* litigation and ************* station to air this debacle . Over ********************* this mess personally, damages, trespassing, FORECLOSURE TWICE! Credit damage severely. They removed the first foreclosure because it was an "accident" on their end. PATHETIC excuse of a bank. FIVE complaints filed WITHIN Huntington. NONE addressed. I could go on and on.The Huntington National Bank

Terrible bank. the app is constantly going down or having issues. I've had nothing but a horrible time banking with Huntington. Multiple times my cards just stopped working. They just suspended my debit card with absolutely 0 notification no email or anything. And I can't get any help until they call me tomorrow. So I have no access to my money.The Huntington National Bank

Awful customer service!!! I HONESTLY BELIEVE ******************** ARE SCAMMERS OR THEY HAVE SCAMMERS WORKING WITHIN THEIR TEAM!! customer care pffft , they neglect their customers and make them starve for weeks with no explanation whatsoever! froze my account without any warning, i get told multiple things by different people,multiple dates,after a series of failures and lies on their part over a check that was deposited and released off hold when it hit my account, but they still had me frozen out of my account with no warning, was told the funds hadnt been received yet although my email stated they was in my account and the hold was released! another week later ( 2weeks 10business days) i phoned to be told the check was being returned back and my bank account being closed for no reason! I got off the phone and received an email they just processed a withdrawal from my account of the same value as the check! THIS IS NOT THE PROCESS FOR A BOUNCED CHECK! I see no reasoning behind Huntington treating me like a criminal! Huntinton litterally make up lies and hold your own money against you!!even after submitting a survey they sent, multiple emails and multiple phone calls, providing all the security answers etc they asked me , just asking for somebody to discuss how this went so wrong and what I can do about it, I just had a rude supervisor basically laugh in my face and tell me no the funds aren't there even though your email says they are and there is nothing you can do about it , i just got to wait for the check to clear and then i will gain access to my account"- I asked for her supervisor/ manager to be put on the phone I was told she was going to have them call me instead.STILL NOTHING, ************** silence, no attempt to make any of it right, no real explanation for their actions or lack of reaction. So i was forced to call again to find out they are shutting my account with money still in it !!! Would never recommend working with this bank to anyone!The Huntington National Bank
