      Due to the multiple violations of federal ****************** we had to file a complaint with multiple government agencies. They all pointed us to the ************************************. We detailed 14 violations of federal ****************** that Comenity ************ made during multiple disputes as well as detailing how they have not proven the fraudulent charges are valid.Comenity ************ lied to the United States government in their response. Comenity ************ employee ****** **** basically stated they investigated themselves and found that they didn't violate federal ****************** 14 times yet she didn't address any of the violations we detailed with dates and names of employees that admitted the violations.****** **** stated that the ***** *** of ************, the dentist who submitted $13,200 in fraudulent charges, "advised" Comenity ************ that they had in fact done work exceeding the amount they received. ****** **** offered no proof as required by federal law under the ***************** Z but because they were "advised" the charges were not fraudulent that was proof enough. ****** **** stated that they were providing Monetary Relief by refunding the illegal late fees and finance charges that they fraudulently put on our account during multiple dispute investigations that they broke federal ****************** by adding to our account.****** **** stated that in the "interest of customer service" they submitted a request for the credit reporting agencies to remove the delinquency from the consumers account that was illegally added. Comenity ************ violated federal ****************** by reporting the consumer as "past due" during a dispute investigation so this was not done in the interest of customer service at all. It was done to reverse illegal activity and Comenity ************ needs to be held accountable for there actions.We stress that no one should even think about applying for a credit card with this company.

      Comenity Bank has been charging me interest on my Maurice’s card even when I pay my balance in full and early. Their customer service was quick to remove the interest the second I mentioned it like they are well aware of this issue; however, they stated that they can only remove up to $10 at a time. If they need to remove more they will need to send me to a supervisor. It is bad on me for not checking my statements and just trusting the company to not charge me interest illegally but, this is absolutely unacceptable that a huge corporation is preying on their customers and hoping many don’t notice or check. How much money have they made off of people who have just been trusting them and not checking their statements? Millions I’m sure.

      Do not recommend getting a card from any store that uses this bank! If you make a "large" payment on your account, they lock your account for 10 days. But they do not tell you this up front or when you make the "large" payment. And "large" has quotations because they consider a $197 payment as LARGE! I just wanted to pay my card fully off so it would reflect a zero balance! Tried to use the card because I forgot my debit card in my car and my card was declined due to them locking my account because of the payment I made. When I called to see why it declined that is when I was told about the 10 day hold on my account due to making a "large" payment. They have no way to override the hold or allow you a one time purchase on the card during the 10 day period.

      0 stars! ********** ever! Automated payment system never works, so you have to be charged a $9 fee to pay over the phone. However, you can't pay off your debt because they then state your $9 fee will be applied to your credit card. What? Terrible customer service, hard to understand them due to outsourcing to other countries. They call you 8 times a day if a payment is missed and will not work with you. STAY AWAY!

      This company is using predatory tactics to keep people from paying their bills on time to make sure that they get late fees. My card was switched to this bank without my knowledge. I could not set up autopay once it was set up they canceled the auto pay claiming they couldnt send an email despite having numerous emails from them.

      Now its paperless but bc they send me so much c*** I had to turn notifications off and now I dont know when payment is due. No sorry I dont have the reminder. But more importantly making it only one form of payment and charging for any other. Its unfair. Balance will be paid off and account will be closed. Rather drop my credit for a bit than to continue this type of service. Unfair and discriminatory

      they constantly calling my phone harassing me leaving messages. I was nice enough to pay them off with the settlement because I was hacked. My account wascompromised probably through their site and now they wont leave me alone. I told him to close out my account.

      I was given a $500 credit limit for the Ulta credit card and never used the credit card due to not being able to make a payment on their website that always didn't work and being charged a fee to pay over the phone. I had only made an $8 purchase they never sent me a bill I went on their website multiple times over the course of a month and a half to pay my $8 balance off and iwas charged $40 in late fees for an $8 charge on that card. I had to contact customer service to figure out why I could not pay my bill on the website and ended up paying their bad to pay a fee but they did give me a $15 credit since I was having so many issues trying to pay my bill. After I paid my bill off I decided to go to **** to grab a very cheap product and when I went to check out they actually blocked my card suspended it so I could use it after I just paid it off and had a $500 available credit. So then I called customer service to find out why I wasn't able to use my credit card to make a $6 purchase and they treated me like absolute s*** I went on to explain how horrible they were to their customers and the $20 a piece late fees is a little over the top and they just didn't care and I decided to close my account. They actually did decide to send me a statement 2 days after I paid it off nothing prior oddly. I honestly believe that they make it hard for customers to make payments so they can get more money by charging you $20 or late fees. If I were you I would not get this card and do any type of business with commenity bank because there are far better credit card options out there with companies that actually treat their customers with some type of respect.

      Do Not get any store credit cards with this bank! They love to add fees on a closed account and if you dont pay it keeps adding finance and late fees. I had a Maurices account. Paid Balance way before due date. They charged $3 the next month for finance fees. I didnt know I had a balance since I paid off balance. So I ended up seeing the $3 due two days past due. I paid the $3 and called to close acct. Representative said done no more fees. Now Im being billed late fees on the $3 and they dont care. It will just keep going if not paid . Worse company ever. In the end they will lose more because I will not ever shop in their stores.

      They are refusing to close my account. My bank paid the balance in full March 2024 and they created a new balance. I paid that balance after they refused to close my account in August 2024. Now I have a balance of $58 and some change because they are still interest charging me and did not ever close my account. My balance became zero. And I said please close. And now I have emails for a delinquent account I got rid of. I hate this company and their call center with associates that cannot complete basic requests to close an account. Never work with comenity if you are trying to be debt free. That will trap you. I have to go to a lawyer because they are refusing.
