I paid in full, never been late, always paid more than the minimum amount but they never updated any of the payments with the credit unions. It shows on my credit a high balance, 18% credit used, and last payment received in April 2023. I called the customer service and I was told that is not their fault even though I told the representative that there is no way that all of them will have an issue, all my other credit cards are being up to date on the balance and usage and I have the same alert on all my credit cards. According to them about 6 credit cards and the credit unions have an issue updating but they are doing everything right. I had to dispute with the credit unions and BBB. I could pay the balance in full from the beginning but I was taking advantage of the no interest for 2 yrs that was not worth it. I didn't wait for the 2 yrs period and I paid it in 1 yr. Don't let them take advantage just because they'll offer you a promotion, it might come with consequences.

Please don't use this bank; they are a bunch of crooks. They charged me a late fee, which was fraudulent. When I disputed it, I was told my check was a day late in the mail after I had checked with them and was informed my check was on time. I wrote a letter and am still waiting for an answer, which I will not get. Meanwhile, I paid the late fee of *****.Two stores I go to issued me store cards from this bank. Even if the store card gets you points and free shipping and returns, it is not worth it, as this bank does not comply with regular banking practices. The Better Business Bureau needs to investigate. They don't deserve any stars.

Longtime customer of **** with large purchases at Christmas and over the summer -routinely. Paid in full by end of month each time.Comenity Closed the account for INACTIVITY!!NEVER sent me a letter. I found out the hard way- standing in the store with a large purchase in August 2024. Apparently, they closed my account in April ********* did not send me a letter or notify me in anyway. In this day and age of data breach and fraud this is inexcusable not to notify the customer. I guess they wouldve been happier if I ran up my bill and didnt pay it instead. I was not only mortified, but frightened that someone had accessed my account fraudulently. When I called, I was told by ****** that their bank doesnt require a notify the customer. Beware do not do business with this bank.

If youre one day late they will start calling you from random numbers, even some that pop up as unknown number, within a 7 day period they had called me 20+ times. While working night shifts, they have somehow bypassed my do not disturb on my phone and have woken me up multiple times and they are extremely rude demanding that you pay in full even when you tell them that you have no money to pay them with at that moment.

My mother, ***** R. *********, born ************ suffered an accident in her **************, ** home in February 2022 in which she suffered various broken bones and loss of a tooth from her fall. The tooth had to be extracted and a denture made. She was taken to ********************* Smile Generation. There they required a ********* dollar credit line and charged ******** immediately. At this time, she was 86 and mentally not stable with potent pain meds and dementia. My issue with this; I feel they took advantage of her because of age and condition. She paid all but ******** dollars of it. I found this credit line amount to be exaggerated and tried to talk to ************** but they dismissed my electronic POA paperwork . They call her multiple times daily. She is on hospice and cannot afford the now over ******** owed to **************. I feel this is predatory lending and elder abuse.

Predatory. Do not get any card with comenity. Instead of telling you if they won't work with another bank they just schedule the payment regardless, wait until after your bill is due and charge you interest and a "return check fee" even though there was money in the account they just don't bother to tell you they refuse to accept the money. Good luck disputing claims also, I got defrauded twice and they did nothing. Stay far away

I was very happy to have a Sallys beauty supply store near by. I had a 800+ credit. The manager offered to apply for a card. This card has been a nightmare! At first, I thought it was great to be able to make a payment in the store on your card. But as ***** happened and several moves. I was trying to maintain my 800 credit score. The difficulty to pay online was something else! Next I get a credit ding! So with-out any notice by mail or email, my card was cancelled. It was only a year with/out using. When you try to call, to get any where... they give 3 different numbers to only be disconnected! I will not consider Comenity Capital Bank again or recommend to Anyone!!! The Worst Customer Service!!!!

I attempted to make a minimum payment towards my balance on 8/19. Comenity's web page gave me a pop up multiple times saying my payment could not be processed at this time. Not wanting to pay the fee for "paying over the phone" I decided to authorize the payment for today, 8/20, instead. Comenity went ahead and charged my bank twice for my minimum payment, and when I called to try and reverse one I was told that they cannot refund any payments that weren't made same day. When I mentioned my payment is still pending and is scheduled for today, I was advised that it was scheduled to draw today, yesterday. Really? Once I pay my balance off I plan on cancelling the card all together, if they are THAT stingy when their website is down a good portion of the time, I'd rather not deal with the hassle.
