      BEWARE! ! ! Predatory loan practices on their ALPHAEON Credit Card ! ! Their practices are so confounding that it's difficult to find a customer service representative who actually understands them, let alone is able to adequately explain them. The legality is questionable. The ***** of ******** ought to be ashamed and they might be if they weren't counting all the money they were taking from trusting consumers.Do not do business with this bank. Do not do business with Alphaeon Credit ********

      Worst client experience ever.! HORRENDOUS!! I own a store credit card from famous footwear and they are the issuing bank. I made a payment as usual online and for some unknowm reason it was returned unpaid. I began seeing calls all day from *************** and I finally decide to answer the call, the second I said hello, the agent just says my first name, no sort of greeting and where she was calling from. That was so unprofessional, I called back and the second agent made the 1st agent look great! I do not understand how a place of business allows this behavior and lack of professionalism from their staff. Is there a ***************** depr monitoring this calls??? I work for a major bank and this will never slide, not in person or over the phone. Closing out my credit card!!!

      They need to be shut down in order to prevent ripping off any potential customers . Run fast and run far from this company . Judt doubled the amount of money owed because a promtional program i never knew about ran out ? Many $40.00 charges for late fees becuase they did not bill me on time ? Can not speak with anyone that can offer assistance . If you see the name Comenity stop and do not sign . I was suckered in to this by ************ who are part of this scam . Thats what this is .

      I have multiple cards with Comenity. The one I had longest was Ulta. As a single mom, I always counted on that card at Christmas time. I paid that card faithfully and was never late. The card had been paid off for months when I tried to use it last. It wouldnt work. The cashier felt so bad. I showed her my Ulta app and how it said right on it.. I had zero balance and all this money available for me to use. Come to find out, they closed my acct, due to a recent credit check. That made no sense. I was working hard on my credit and if anything, it was better than when they gave me the card!!They didnt close my other acct with them!So fast forward to a couple weeks ago. I decided to reapply. The cashier said Id be getting a letter in the mail. I just received it today. They want me to send a copy of my drivers license, ss card and recent utility bill in the mail. I called them, because who wants to send their ss card in the mail, copy or not? They said thats what Id need to do..Im definitely over it. I only have three stars bc I have no problem with my other cards, but this has been horrible. Ive been a responsible card holder and this whole situation flat out sucks!!

      I made a large purchase on one of their credit cards just to keep them from closing the account for inactivity. I've had the card for 20+ years, originally opened it with BOA.I pay the bill, two days later get an email confirmation that it has been processed. Two days later, log in to my account and see zero balance. After 14 days and the money not coming out of my checking, I log back in to see that the payment was never processed and my balance has returned. I received zero notification of this happening and was nearly past my due date. When I called to ask what happened, they just said "It's something we're working on" and blamed me for not being more on top of my finances. Wow.

      well tell ya what,,. i applied for a game stop store credit card.. i was rejected. they said that i have a credit score of 171.....................lol..i go to expirian and it is 653!!!! honestly do not think they even looked!! were do they get there info.? then they have the nerve to report it to the credit karma.. as a hard inquiry. if my score was that low i would not have applied. i dont think this is fair that they said i have a low score....going to be making a complaint to game stop also..they pretty much lost a customer because of ******************** bank...now known as bread financial.....wich sounds like a scam! thanks for nothing..funny i applied for a ******* credit card and got $1,000 credit....lmao!! so i bought the ps 5 from them..credit is fine!!!

      Awful company. I have a card through Ulta that I have had for years. I hadn't used the card in over a year and when I received the bill, assumed I had autopay set up (as I have set up on every other one of my credit cards). After my payment was missed, rather than receiving an email, I receive multiple calls from a number that comes up as "unknown". After receiving three in the same day, I decide to answer. The person on the other end, tells me I've missed a payment. So rater than give out my info to what seems like a scammy call, I try and login to verify that I haven't missed a payment. I am unable to get logged in and can't even get a password reset email sent to me, so thinking my account has been hacked, I call them.I find out I did miss a payment and when asking for the late fee to be waived, they tell me I can only have a $15 credit, rather than $30 plus the $2 in interest. I explained that was ridiculous, I have been in good standing for years and have never missed a payment. I asked to speak to a manager who then tells me how to use a credit card properly, which felt extremely rude given my history with them and still will not give me the full credit. Safe to say, I will not be using this card again.

      Unauthorized charges on paid balance , deferred loan that was never explain, horrible customer service, make yourself a favor and never under any circumstances work with them

      Id stay away from this company. I opened a credit card at ******** ****** in 2019, had no idea that the transaction charge was on the card because the cashier took my debit card. 11 months later, when i saw my credit score, i learnt that my defaulted transaction with commenity bank is the reason. But there was NO COMMUNICATIONS at all in email, mail or phone calls to let me know about the debt. Unbelievable.

      Actually, NO stars. Paid on time; 0 balance accnount closed without notice or reason. Calls and on-line customer "care" are all automated responses
