One of corrupt banking business in the country. they are freely overcharge and ripoff their customer and never give up on fabricated charges. looks like government or FDIC has no problem with them. Avoid it.

If there was a no star rating they certainly qualify. I am surprised there is no “Class Action” lawsuit against them. I have endeavored to talk to someone several times in an effort to secure a copy of all transactions. I have paid over the minimum due over 90% of the time. Yet, this amount was NOT applied to the requested account. Once accounts were switched to this company it has been nothing but a fiasco. In response to my complaint and enquiry to correct well over $1,500.00 error on their part, they offered me $10.00 for my trouble. This is a company that definitely needs to be thoroughly investigated for illegal practices.

I told them simply that I paid for a Halloween item from etsy and never received it and that the seller never messaged me back..so they closed the account for insufficient information and wanted me to write them a letter asking them to open the account back up..when I was on. The phone with customer service which made no sense at all

I think they are zero grace! I paid minutes late from the difference of time zones after returning from my mother's funeral and basically they said it is what it is.

LESS THAN ONE STAR - This is yet another predatory Credit Card company. They have unreasonable rates and deplorable customer service. There is no way I would recommend anyone aligning with this horrible organization. I only got the Sephora card because my daughter worked there and she got credit for applications. Closing my account immediately.

I am in process of filing a class action lawsuit against this bank.
I paid balances off and closed two separate accounts out, and the bank called that due to the way the billing process worked I owed a late fee which accumulated interest charges over a period of several months, of which I had been told nothing was due and the account was closed.
I expect this practice was widespread and if you have had a similar experience with this bank contact me and you can join me in this lawsuit as I sincerely believe greed is the only motivation that will motivate this bank to practice business with integrity.

Comenity Capital Bank only cares about the almighty dollar not it's customers!! My Mom, who passed away in August 2023, was a loyal cardholder and paid her bills on time every month. By using Comenity's AAA Visa Signature card, she earned $109.97 in reward dollars. I called on 1/2/24 to cancel her card since Mom passed. I was told by ***** and **** that Mom's reward dollars could be sent to her estate account if I mailed my court docs showing I was listed as her executor. I mailed them on 1/3/24 to Comenity Capital Bank, ** *** ******* ********* ** **********. I included my phone # and email address and told them to contact me with any issues. After hearing nothing from them for weeks, I called them on 1/17/24 and spoke to *** who took the estate account info and was going to send the $109.97 but then he transferred me to a sup named ***** located in Colorado who proceeded to tell me the $ could only be given to the cardholder and since Mom had passed, the $ was technically "gone"... SHAMEFUL !!! That $ belonged to my Mom for using their card... It was only $109.97 not a million dollars... Needless to say, I was very disappointed that 1st of all, they gave me bad info and had me mail them docs they never planned on using and wasting my time having to make a 2nd call.. I hope they are proud of themselves that they got to take the $109.97 away from my Mom's estate.. I will be sure to tell everyone I know to never get mixed up with Comenity Capital Bank. I hope they are able to sleep at night knowing how bad they treat their customers.

Comenity Capital Bank ran my credit when I did not apply for a card with them! Then sent me a finishing processing letter for me to call to continue a credit card account application that I did not start! My credit score will take a hit and I did not initiate an account with them! Bad Business!

Worst bank ever. I was pressured to open an account. I made my first purchase, I paid it in full. Less than a month of having the credit card I get a letter saying it was canceled. I called the bank and they kept saying “the bank closed your account” but then no one could give me an answer on why it was canceled. The least I was expecting was just a reason on why my account was closed. If you can avoid opening up an account with this bank, please do.
