These guys bought servicing for **** Financial, whom I was making automatic payments every month on the exact same day/time through my bank auto-pay. Comenity sent me a bill, and when I went to change the auto-pay to the new servicer the bill didn't have the full account number visible so was unable to set it up, tried getting on their website to set things up there hit some "we're sorry we're having technical issues" so I set things down to pick up later - when I have time. I never have "time"!! Shoot.
Flash forward to November 1st my autopayment went to Dell. OOPS!
The payment was due 11/1 and TODAY I get a call from Comenity COLLECTIONS department threatening legal action. What a freekin joke.
As soon as the payment gets reconciled I will be closing this account out. I have absolutely no intention of doing business with a company this shady!

Comenity Capital Bank took over financing for **** ***. I received a letter indicating there was a problem with the information on my account. When I contacted them them the problem was they did not believe my first name because it is only 2 initials. Keep in mind I have had an account with ****, and many many other companies, including an excellent credit rating under that name. They actually told me, and this is a quote "we don't believe you". Needless to say, I cancelled my account.

I spoke with 3 people today to try to amend an issue with my bill. Each one told me there was nothing they could do. Two of them agreed to transfer me to a supervisor after 20 mins, placed me on hold, then disconnected me. The third person told me the previous agents didn’t transfer me because they knew their supervisor wouldn’t help me. So essentially, they pretended to transfer me and then hung up. I was told over and over that nothing could be done. I finally gave up. My husband called and spoke with one person who very quickly and easily helped him.
I am not typically a pessimist who assumes discrimination. However, I spent over an hour on 3 different phone calls, 3 different agents. I was hung up on, lied to, and lead on. My husband, a man, made one call and was told within 5 mins that it was a simple fix. I’m so disappointed in the company.

I recently purchased a wedding set for my wife from Zales and Comenity Capital is the finance company that was used. I made a lump sum down payment and my balance was $2500.00. On October 5th I made my first payment of 200.00 and on November 1st I attempted to make another 200.00 payment. It looked like the payment went through so I didn't think anything of it. I remember it being hard to sign into the website and it sent a link to my email a number of times to click on the link to submit the payment. I remember telling my wife it is almost like they don't want you to pay them they make it so hard. Fast forward to today, November 14th.....and my wife gets a text to contact them. It looked like a spam text message. Then around 8:00PM at night she gets a phone call from them saying our payment is overdue and if she doesn't give them her checking account number that we will be subject to late fees. The person said if my wife did not make the payment tonight then she was going to mark the account as refusing to make payment and we would be sent to collections. My wife calmly explained to the woman that she wasn't refusing to make payment just that she wanted to speak to me first. I ended up getting on the Zales/Comenity website and making the payment that same night of the call and then I reached out to Comenity about how rude they were to my wife and how I didn't appreciate it. The first call to them I got someone at a foreign call center who barely spoke English and I just gave him my phone number and asked to speak to a manager at a call center in the United States. He took my information and placed me on hold assuring he would put me in touch with a manage in the US........next thing you know the call dropped. If you are thinking about buying anything financed by this company stay far far away! They have the rudest representatives and it seems like intimidation is their way of contacting their customers. This could have easily been handled instead of harrassment!!!!

I filed a dispute for an order that was not delivered. The customer service team ensured me that they will investigate along with the shipping company layership and; find a resolution. No resolution. I was not satisfied with my purchase and will not be placing any more online orders with this company.

Comenity Bank just took over **** ********* *******s (for consumers, not their business accounts). I was notified in late August that **** would be transitioning over to Comenity and that customers would be receiving a Welcome Letter since auto payments would not carry over and that new account numbers would be issued. I had one last payment of $25 left on my account and the payment was due 10/20. Never received Welcome Letter and just received the 1st statement on 11/7/2023. My name is completely misspelled, not a little but the entire name. They have tacked on the interest of over $300. My purchase was under a promotional plan for 12 months no interest. The transition happened on the 12th month, and here I sit on November 7th and told, so sad so sorry, however you owe us $300 now in interest. Still waiting for the account number, because without it, you can't even get through their website. In addition, they call you on a RESTRICTED number, so when the call drops, you can't get back to the person who called you. "But I'm at fault." WHAT A SCAM. THEY USE DELL TECHNOLOGIES LOGO AND LETTERHEAD, BUT DELL CAN'T HELP YOU WHEN YOU CONTACT THEM, REALLY?????

On 3/25/2022 I have purchased a computer from **** for $1,218.84 on credit/loan with **** ********* Services (simply to improve my credit score). I have signed up for a $150 fixed payment amount each month and got a confirmation over an email. With auto-pay setup - I assumed it will be paid on time and I do not recall such outrageous "deal" where if loan is not paid in 1 year - all interest from that year will be charged at once.
This seems like intentional fraud where auto-pay system is either not working or they change it to minimal payment amounts so that it would run over 1 year, so that I end up owning them all this interest, not to mention - they hide these outrageous conditions on the 3rd page of the statement, written with small blue hard to see letters. I do not recall such conditions when I was purchasing the computer.
      - **** Statement from Spring 2022 (this is all I got and yes it shows minimum payment due, not the auto-pay amount I setup, so I was under assumption the auto-pay system would charge my account $150 monthly): ****************.
      - Same **** Statement downloaded this Fall, 2023 (now it shows all the details, including the conditions on 3rd page, small blue letters): ****************
I decline to pay interest $491.40 as this is obviously made to trick people/rip them off. I only agree to pay the remaining balance: $840.84.
      1) I have setup $150 fixed monthly payment and got a confirmation, which they either changed without my consent or something was broken in their system and this is not my fault: ****************
      2) I do not recall such outrageous conditions, they never appear on the very first statement from DELL/**** ********* Services/Bank. After all, these conditions don't matter much as with the $150 fixed payment I have setup initially - I would not be in this situation in the first place.

Comenity Bank, Your security concerns are bogus. You want copies of my Drivers license, my social security card and bank account. I don't think so. And no one can tell me what the concerns are.
