One of the worst experiences ever had with credit card company.
I applied for the Ikea Project card 3 weeks ago. Waited 2 weeks and did not receive the card. 1 agent told me they can overnight a card if I did not receive the initial card. The 2nd agent refuses to expedite a new card and insists on waiting for 2 more weeks. A completely fraudulent company that does not comply with financial regulations. Stay away from Ikea credit cards.

I’ve had two Comenity/Bread/American Express Cash Back (wonderfully benefitted) credit cards for about four months, obtained within a few months from one another. Aside from Bread's many website glitches and outages, the more important issue is their assumption that there was fraud on my fraud-less accounts; therefore, after many transactions, my cards were locked. After four phone calls to them, and two snail mail letters from them, my rectifying efforts were futile. I was told of ongoing investigations, prompted by Bread.
I cancelled Account #1 a few days ago. Today I cancelled Account #2. They didn’t trust my repeated verbal verifications enough to stop investigating a victimless, non-crime. They wanted me to send them documented ID proof of a sensitive nature. I refused.
On Account #2, Bread cheated me out of $50 cash back. I was $17 short of earning it, and then it was locked. I suspect that Bread is using their tactics to deny earned cash rewards; or, they don’t like customers like me who pay them in full every month. They’re using ‘potential security concerns’ or ‘irregular transactions,’ as excuses to cheat cardholders. I told the rep that if there are security concerns, it’s at their end. As for ‘irregular transactions,’ I’d already asked them to note the type of spending that would be recorded on my accounts.
I’ve complained to American Express (which partnered with them), the Ohio Attorney General, and Federal agencies about this company. I’ve also posted my complaints on multiple consumer sites.

Would rate 0 but doesn’t exist!!!! I opened a credit card with BOSCOV and this bank handles it!!! I opened it in May paid it off by August (made two payments) got a bill saying I owe them $1.00 balance!!! My mistake didn’t read the fine print…..BALANCE MUST BE PAID IN FULL EACH MONTH or interest will accrue!!! I went to BOSCOV spoke with manager telling me he would get it taken off my account but I had to come to the store only for him to tell me when he tried “their” system was down!!! I sent a check of $1.00 on 9/27 and an electronic payment on the 10/5 to receive a letter today 10/7 saying my balance is still $1.00 and I will receive monthly statements until it is paid in full and they have updated the following credit bureaus Equifax, Transunion, Innovis, and Experian with their findings!!!! What about my findings??? I can’t help it if mail is delayed or electronic transfer isn’t fast enough, the balance is due by the 10/10 and with Monday a holiday I’m sure I’m stuck with an interest charge of $31.00 because it will be processed after the due date!!!! I will absolutely never deal with this bank again and I know nobody really cares but if one person reads this I hope they think twice before dealing with this sorry bank!!!! I also got email from BOSCOV saying I have a $1 credit why didn’t they just pay the dollar to this bank!!! Will not do business with either one!!!!

The worst customer service co. They charged my acct a HUGE interest. My balance was $675.00 and the next bill had a $517.66 interest charge. The co said it's a loan so they follow their own rules but my bill is a credit card bill. I can charge anything I want on it.
Stay away from this co. I spoke to customer service and she did nothing to help. The supervisor also said my interest is 29.99% but they charged me over that.

There are very nice people when you call to obtain a pay-off on your account. I did this as their bill was still outstanding on my credit report. The employee are all very sorry and will help but they do not know how or are instructed to keep the account open and for us to continue to pay.
I have just told them My BANK sent the full amount on August 1, 2023. today is Sept 29, 2023. I EXPLAINED the issue and also expressed that they have a very poor reputation in the USA and that the matter needs to be fixed in 30 days. We will check again.
Please do not use them .

Website will not let me send a secure message nor is there an email address listed anywhere to contact company. I paid my monthly payment and got charged yet they didn’t post my payment!!! Meanwhile they harass with phone calls. I see they have done this to countless others. This is illegal and fraudulent and they know which is why they make it impossible to reach them via email, which leaves a paper trail!!!

I have a credit with Comenity Bank. Last Sept. 20th they charged my bank for $165 . It’s my monthly account due. On the Sept. 25th, I paid additional $400. On the 26th, they charged me for $400 again? I called them why they double charged me??? They just say They will issue me a check to be sent to my home address but it will take 7 days before I will receive it. ???? I ask why not just wire transfer back to my account? They say it is not possible????? How easy they can just get it from my account without authorization from me???? If this is not a Scam! What do you call it ?

I recently encountered an issue with Comenity Capital Bank regarding the interest charges on my account. Despite my efforts to resolve the matter with them, I did not receive a satisfactory response. Pursuant to the card agreement, I submitted a formal request to commence arbitration proceedings. However, rather than abide by the agreement, they directed me twice to their internal dispute center. As expected, their investigation yielded a decision in their favor. I made several attempts to clarify the situation with their representatives over the phone, via email and messages through their system, and by sending letters reminding them of their obligation to follow the arbitration process when requested by a customer. Regrettably, Comenity Capital Bank has displayed an absent commitment to fulfilling their agreement.

I paid my bill with a mailed hand-written check. It cleared my bank account but Comenity didn't record the payment. They asked for proof of payment so I sent a screenshot of it having cleared my account (this included the check number and amount and that it was paid to Comenity). They said that wasn't enough and that I'd have to provide an image of the cleared check. My bank informed me that because of the way Comenity processes checks the bank does not get the image and that I'd have to get it from Comenity. When I informed Comenity of this they simply said that because I could not provide a picture of the cleared check they were considering the bill unpaid. I'm cancelling my card.

I received rock bottom credit service. After I had received way to many credit offers in the mail I politely asked them to stop and they refused to comply with my request. This is likely a scam. I called and they said " we serve over 600 customers" this is after I questioned why they wanted me to give them my social security number! This is unacceptable and totally sketchy buisness practices in my opinion. I then called corporate and they also said they could not remove me from their mailing list. This should be illegal if it's not already. I'm pretty sure if I start sending mail to some random person i dont know trying to sell them something, and then they call me and i ask them for their ss#, that I would at least get charged for harassment.
Fact #1 I don't have an account with them.
Fact #2 I asked them politely to remove me from their mailing list and they refused saying they can't including someone that said they are a manager
Fact #3 This company is in Columbus Ohio
Fact #4 They asked for my social security number
Fact #5 Every buisness that I have contacted in the past for this same reason politely removed me from their mailing list.
