I applied for an Ulta credit card for “instant” approval. I passed, but it took a few weeks to be able to use the card. Instant means instant use.
      2. I authorized card to set up automatic payment. “It’s our fault. Something technical blah blah.”
Note, I have not used it yet.
      3. There’s a note that it can take 1-2 BILLING CYCLES to process automated payment. It’s 2023. I can’t believe how many things have gone wrong with this card. So far, it’s given me nothing promised.
Banks aren’t supposed to rip off the poor anymore with shady business practices. Computers are INSTANT unless you program them not to be.

I have been trying since January 26,2023 to get my rewards that was supposed to be added to my bank account. I’ve talked to multiple people about 9 and spent approximately 10 hours on the phone with them. I was told I had to wait 90 days to be fixed?!? I did and now I was told it was disputed again and I should hear back by 8-25-23 and it’s here and gone and nothing still taken care of. I’ve talked to a senior account supervisor on 8-3-24 and she said they are still checking with the bank? Well my bank as of 8-16-23 has never had anyone from Comenity contact them once ever! Needless to say I’ve been very patient and still don’t have my rewards that is owed to me. This bank has terrible customer service!!! I will never recommend them!

I made the mistake of getting a credit card when I made a purchase at Ultra in Florida. When I left for Illinois for the summer I filled out a change of address form with USPS. I never received a bill. Never forwarded by the Vero Beach post office. To be honest I sold my Florida place and had so many things to do and so much on my mind I forgot I even used it to charge $78.75 at Ulta. I did get calls from Denver, Co. but did not answer them as I do not answer a call if not in my contacts. They can leave a message. They claim they tried to call me 200+ times. Impossible! They finally left a message yesterday so I called them. Told me I owed $190.00. They took off the late charge fee. I paid them the $78.75 + $7.36 interest. However in the meantime because of them all of a sudden my credit rating is down 156 points. My credit rating has always been excellent so when I called Comenity to complain the guy basically said tough luck. Said I signed up to pay whether I received a bill or not. I cut up my card, but would recommend checking the name of the bank if you ever take out a credit card to make sure it is not through Cometity Bank. It is not my fault I never got a bill or a phone message but they could care less that my credit rating has been damaged. ******** ******* ** *******

This has to be the absolute worst company I have ever dealt with. I had one payment rejected and they expected me to send a bank letter saying they can charge my account. I cannot add my checking account to their online system as well. I am going to pay my balance and close this account because they have the absolute worst customer service since I am sure they all run off a script and cannot actually think about how to solve an issue. After hours on the phone I get charged a dumb fee again because their system cannot verify banking when entered. I am done dealing with a company who wants to try and charge you for anything they can since they will not survive if they don't charge fees that make 0 sense and hope someone doesn't notice.

If I could give zero stars I would. I bought one item with their credit card and they charged my bank account twice for it and then said that they never received payment and now it is late and I have to pay again along with an almost 50% late fee. I have never made a late payment in my life. Customer service is not understanding at all, they are telling me that now I need to send documents to them from my bank that the payment went through and that it wasn't rejected. There is no way to do this electronically or online and each representative tells me a different P.O. box to send it to all at my expense.

bank not good at all! recently I applied for a business credit card loan, and they send me a letter stating that they couldn't process my application at the time due to a previous negative experience with the comenity capital bank, just to be clear that I never stood behind my payments not a single time. I just decided to stop business with capital due to inconveniences with them. and my credit reports are over 747 and yet this bank reject me If I really had any negative experience, I should had gotten a letter, right? so, I moved on to a different bank institution and in 2 days I got my loan in my checking account!!! so one star for comenity I tried to give zero star, but this is the worse bank ever!!!

Predatory lending at its finest. Applied for a card to cover the cost of $1000 worth of dental work, was told interest would not accrue if balance was paid off within 18 months. Less than a year later I was hit with a $450 interest charge to cover the cost of interest accrued. Do NOT use this criminal bank. CareCredit is a far superior option.

I also got scammed by this joke of a company, to the tune of $297. I made a purchase and was making $100 monthly payments when only $35 was required. About halfway through the payoff, I made another purchase. Both of these purchases were eligible for 1 year no interest. I continued to make payments on the original balance but they purposely applied them to the NEW purchase, which caused me to slip past the payoff date on the first one. I was on autopay and checked on the balance, only to discover the charge for interest. Now I have paid everything off in full and have asked them twice to fully close the account but they haven't. I just filed a BBB report. At this point, all I want is to never have to talk to these condescending jerks again.

Comenity-AAA Visa card administrators. Mailed checks in plenty of time, way before due date. Charged late fees & interest because they took an additional week to process the bank check. Would not reverse fees. Cancelled my card. Terrible company to deal with. Worried they would ruin my excellent credit rating with their ineptness. Not sure why AAA is associating with them!

Had a couple late fees but then I called and asked to pay off the card completely. A month later I was charged with a late fee of 2 dollars because they didn’t include the interest when I asked to pay it off. I pay off the two dollars. I wrote a letter explaining my situation and what happened with the last late. I explained that the account is completely paid off and asked it be removed from my credit to help with getting approved for a mortgage. They wrote back that they will not remove it.
