  Very nice rep . Just can’t understand why I was denied the first time . I thought maybe I put my Ss # in wrong at the store I am 100% disabled permanent . combat veteran. Of Vietnam. I’m never late with any of my bills. They can go back 20 years on all my credit cards never ever was late once. And do not have one card that is maxed out. My name is ****** ***** **.   This bank is a total joke -open an account on 6/16 and was closed 11 days later, with no reason of why it was closed. They sent a letter saying you have 14days to reach out to them bed
  Fore the account is closed but guess what it was closed a whole day before the letter was even sent.

  Being harassing by the company after I made arrangements on a due date and late fees went through 4 customers service people to set up a correct payment ! They are scammer ! And need to be banned and arrested for going after people on disability ! They failed their contracts and lied to us ! I’m not late on my payment ! I got records ! So I see no choice to file leagal action again them ! My grandson can handle 1+2 =3 better than them ! I Will pay what I pay by contract only the amount I signed and no more !

  I paid off my account in April 15, 2023, and requested to closed my account with with Comenity Capital Bank. I received a letter saying from Comenity Capital Bank saying my account is closed. But they still billed me, I have no idea until my credit report notified me that I have a late payment on one of my account. They charging me $46.00 on my account.

  This is the Worst experience I ever had with a bank ,I pay off my bill and they keep sending petty balances that somehow become outrageous with interest on a zero balance account...run ppl don't get any credit cards that's with comenity capital bank

  Comenity Bank whom represents Overstock.com. are not operating in the proper business practices that are governed by the US. I canceled an O Membership buy they did not acknowledge my right as a consumer to cancel. I made several attempts to call due to being billed for the $19.99 charge and the customer service was lacking. The representatives spoke very poor English and some sounded as if they were working from a Market Place that was outside. I finally was able to communicate the issue to a rep and was told to mail in proof of the cancelation. None of the reps were able to see that I had cancelled; they could not refer me to a supervisor or manager. I mailed in proof via Certified mail but still they did nothing. They charged me late fees and all. The BBB needs to be aware that this company is not acting in fairness and facts for the consumer. And, they are hiring people that are not able to communicate properly.

  I miscalculated my auto payment from a 0% promotional purchase I had made and when all was said and done, I was short 58 cents. They charged me the full interest of 208 dollars. I called to try to work with them but they refused and I ended up accruing more interest. I paid it today as the manager said there was nothing he could do. I will never do business with them or Big Lots who used them as a creditor. I wish I could give no stars. These folks are shady.

  I was alerted that a credit card was applied for under my name and address yesterday. I never applied for a credit card. After reading the 100s of negative reviews from this company, there is something shady going on at COMENITY CAPITAL BANK.
  I did call Comenity and spoke with someone quickly. No credit card was issued because wrong information was added. They flagged the account. Is the bank innocent or is the bank involved with opening credit cards for people who don't want it?

  Absolute worst financial company to do business with! If I could give 0 stars I would! Had a Floor & Decor card. Paid it monthly through auto pay. Went to pay the balance for the promotional period and was 1 day late. Got charged back interest of $1,100 on a $295 balance left. They will not work with you at all. Even if you have 1 cent left to pay. I would be very careful if applying for a card with this bank. Also, their customer service reps are extremely rude which doesn't help the situation.
