I paid my bill in full on May 30th, $3,117.99 from my checking account. On May 31st, the amount of $3,117.99 was withdrawn from my checking account. I reported this error to Comenity Capital Bank on June 8th. I was told that this would be corrected. So far, it has not been refunded to y account. Due to this error, I had a check bounce in the amount of $1,403.00 and charged a fee for insufficient funds in my checking account. I would like to have my monies and any interest gained by the company refunded to me.

I understand that sometimes two companies decide that they can no longer work together, I get that. Today in the mail, I got a letter from Comenity Bank stating that they were severing ties with Overstock. But here is the kicker!!! Any points or credit built up would need to be used before July 17, 2023. In my case $119.53 or 11,953 points. Or come July 18, 2023, All would be lost. However, any amount "Due" on the account on or after July 18, 2023, would be owed to Comenity Bank. So basically, Comenity Bank is trying to force customers to spend the credit they have built up in hopes they will end up owing Comenity Bank in the end. But NOT Comenity Bank sending out refund money for those of us that have credit built up. No way you either use it or lose it. And Overstock is just standing back watching good customers like me get taken advantage of by not stepping in and transferring our points over to their new Credit Card System. Instead, they are happy watching accounts getting closed. Accounts that are in Good or Great Standing.
Not to Mention How Comenity Bank did the same thing to my wife with her ******* Account. the difference there was, every time we thought we had the paid in FULL, Comenity Bank would send another bill saying you forgot this interest payment or this late fee or that fee. Even though according to our records we were never late. But due to how their Bank accepted funds overnight from our bank (especially over the weekend "Friday evening thur Monday morning). It would be late. Even if I paid it Friday Morning. It would end up late.
Long story Short, IF You Are In Business with A Company that use Comenity Bank, GET OUT QUICK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Like the other reviewer, someone tried to open up an account in my name. Thankfully they did not succeed, as the addresses did not match. This company's customer service was horrible! Kept asking for my account number when I repeatedly told them I did not have one. I have to call back to see if I can get further information about this scumbag who tried to rip me off.

Very poor automatic payment policy. They will delay unenrollment of automatic payments by a full billing cycle. Ridiculous frame of time. They recently yook over AAA cards from **** ** *******, and I didn't expect such a poor excuse for a credit card...there isn't even an app to use!!!

I needed an emergency Dental Procedure. I applied for Care Credit only used half of what was approved. Unfortunately, in 2019 I suffered a Heart Attack and had to file Chapter 13. Although I requested that my bankruptcy be dismissed due to unemployment. All accounts in the Case were now starting to come after me. CareCredit owned by Comenity Bank. Sent me a 1099 to report the account to the IRS as income. I have called on two ocassions, latest being 05-30-2023. I not only paid for the balance on my Federal Income Tax return but I also paid fees that Comenity added which was above my documented balance. I called them to remove the bad debt from my Credit report - put in a dispute with Transunion and they refuse to remove this from my credit report. I paid this off plus and I want them to remove the account from my Fico score and report. I am trying to fix my credit on my own and it is unfair credit practices to keep an account as not paid - when I paid plus.

I receive daily voicemails from these people on my cellphone (very strangely no incoming calls, just voicemails). The calls register no return telephone number. Every day different people with Indian accents speak at 90 mph with mostly unintelligible requests for me to call them back on an 800 number. If they're in the collections business, my credit history is excellent. If they're trying to sell me a credit card, I don't need one. I have rarely given the cellphone number out to anyone. I am extremely reluctant to call them back, given what I've read about them and their manner of approaching me. Bottom-line, I'm extremely annoyed with what's happening.

Ordered a scooter for my husband. Company never got order through Bread (which has to issue the order). Called Bread 3 times...got 3 different responses. Last one was that the scooter compay lost the money. *************** is saying they don't have it. Don't do business with them. Sounds like a SCAM waiting to happen.

Comenity bank does not get any stars as far as I’m concerned. Back in oct of 22 I ordered a Christmas blow up for $75.69, from a co that turned out to be a scam… I immediately filed a dispute with comenity and they told me they would investigate… meanwhile 4 different times my dispute was lost out of the computer… the 4th time I was told to send in additional info about my purchase( which I did that cost me over $10 shipping)…… I even sent it return receipt…. I just received another letter that they needed more info….I already paid the $75.69 off because I didn’t want to be charged interest…. All the phone calls that I have made to comenity bank since they took over Bank of America… sorry to say but I could not understand any persons I talked to on the phone…. Where do they find these people with such poor communication skills?? Needless to say I cancelled this credit card…. This Bank is horrible

Bread / Comenity aggressively closes accounts. How frequently would one use an Ikea credit card. Not worth the hard pull. Not worth the aggravation. Avoid this business at all costs.
