      I have been trying to resolve a payment issue with Comenity Bank for around 6 months. My credit card was compromised over 2 years ago through no fault of myself. I was issued a new credit card and not even thinking about it, I continued to make payments (paid in full every month) online through my bank directly to Comenity using my old card number. For over a year, these payments were credited to my account. Suddenly last spring/summer my payments began to be returned. When I contacted customer service, they searched and figured out that my payments were being directed to a closed account, so the payments were returned. I asked why now, instead of a year ago. I was told it was probably due to some system upgrade or something. I asked that the interest and late charges be removed and told I had to deal with the dispute resolution department, online through their website. I began with emails to them, which then turned into letter requests for additional information. Throughout all of this correspondence, they never seemed to understand that I onlly wanted the interest/penalty charges removed, and no record to appear on my credit history. Instead, they keep asking for more information, or the same information, all dealing with proving that the payments were never returned to. I have explained numerous times that the payments were eventually credited to my account when I paid online using the correct account number and that all I wanted was for the interest/penalties to be removed. I am now dropping the manner, figuring that I will just eat the interest charges. My Annual Credit Report shows that no late payments were made to either of the 3 credit bureaus.

      DO NOT APPLY OR GET A CREDIT CARD FOR ANY STORE LINKED TO THIS FRAUDULENT COMPANY.
      Their website is always conveniently down. I was always hit with a late payment.
      Currently website is down again a second time when I’m trying to send them proof that I did a balance transfer.
      The transfer was completed $ was taken from my credit union credit card but Comenity Capital is stating I still owe my balance on my end SMH !!!!

      Fraudulent account set up in my name with charges. I told them verbally that it wasn't me, sent them a letter and disputed to all three credit reporting bureaus. They still call me multiple times per day harassing me about making payment.

      I do not have a card or account or any affiliation with this bank but receive information from them by mail by my name and address. This is potentially fraud because they are advising me that they are sharing my personal information. This should not be allowed. I do not even know HOW they got my information. Stop fraud....these types of companies ruin people and cause unnecessary stress and worry.

      In the world of getting help from a company for a big purchase that will allow you to spread payment over a series of payments, DO NOT CHOOSE THIS ROUTE! Bread Pay, Bread Financial, Stale Bread, Molded Bread, I feel like such an idiot for trusting this trash company. Their "partner" Saferwholesale.com, isn't far from the tree. I made 2 payments, ahead of schedule, then had an unexpected huge financial obligation, contacted saferwholesale.com, cancelled the order since the items were never delivered, contacted Bread Pay to tell them the order has been cancelled and to please refund my money........ NIGHTMARE BEGINS HERE. I placed this order in December, now February, I still have not been reimbursed. This company will send you through circles of hell, give you ridiculous reasons why you can't be reimbursed yet, make you get an email proof of cancelling the order, which THEIR PARTNER WON'T RESPOND TO GIVE EVIDENCE. Then, you are told you have to wait 48 hours. OVER A MONTH LATER I AM THROUGH WITH THE CIRCUS ACT. I AM OWED MONEY FROM THEM TO THIS DAY AND I CANNOT GET THEM TO GIVE ME MY **** MONEY OVER A MONTH, DAYS AWAY FROM 2 MONTHS LATER! ****** *** SETS THE STANDARD, HANDS DOWN. ****** *** IS THE BEST, WITHOUT A DOUBT. BREAD PAY IS A TRASHBAG, SELF-CENTERED, SCAM COMPANY. BEWARE. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. YOU WILL REGRET EVERY ACHING MOMENT.

      I lost 4 hours of work today before finding someone to help me with my bill. This is the worst company and the poorest customer service provider I have dealt with in almost 70 years. I have learned my lesson. Never sign an agreement with an institution until you have read their reviews. I would never refer to this one for anything. This is bad business and very unreliable.

      AVOID THIS BANK AND ALL SUBSIDIARIES. The business is beyond dysfunctional. They missed one of my payments by their own error, so I called to have it fixed and they told me everything was all set, fees waived, account closed. They read me the cancellation disclosure and everything. Not only did the representative not waive my fees or cancel my account without notifying me, it continued to accrue fees without giving me notice. I called back to have it fixed AGAIN and was told it was all set AGAIN. Then, my credit score drops 33 POINTS because of their mistake. I call again and they tell me there is nothing they can do. So I asked for a supervisor who says she took care of the problem but we will see. It will still take months to fix this error on my credit report. How is this place still in business? The worst business experience of my life.

      Classic bait and switch. Charging exhorbant interest, refusing to change payment due date, No notification of promotional plan end. Charging 27.74 interest on balance without notiication of rate inrease.

      To whom it may concern:
      I am appalled by the lack of customer service provided for my continuous dispute as I have been denied restitution for an open credit card and charges that I didn’t perform. You all need to have a better team to review the dispute details as my identity was stolen and you can clearly see that I didn’t open a credit card and rack up charges in New Jersey when I live in Ohio. Your business should be shut down for the lack of effort put forth in the substantial evidence provided to truly believe a customer dispute. I use to have impeccable credit but not anymore due to the incompetence of your dispute department.

      Even though I sent proof of payment for a low-priced item, they are ignoring it. They reported me to ********, etc. I get the feeling that no one knows what they're doing at the other end. I have now asked the business that uses them to help.
