Bread has been blocking my every attempt to get the refund I am due. Ordered a scooter from superiorpowersports (veloz) in May. Got it in June and it was All Messed Up. Forklift driver had punctured the box and it looked like it was dropped out of a c-130. No respect. Catfish game. They show you a scooter and sent you ****. Bread has been told for six months going on seven about the issues. They eventually dump me on a “robot” that reads from a script. Guess what *****  I am not paying a dime more.

BAD--On Oct 12, 2022 my bank sent Comenity a check to pay my J Jill bill. As of Nov 1, 2022 check had no been credited to my account. Discussed this with Comenity and made a phone payment on Nov 2, 2022 as I did not want to be charged a late fee. Then on Nov 8, 2022 Comenity deposited the check that I placed a stop payment on Nov 1, 2022. Now they demand a pay a $25 fee because the check was returned, My bill just keeps going up with interest and I keep sending letter disputing these charges. All I get is form letters from them telling me to call Customer Care Team to resolve my dispute. All they tell me is I must pay my bill. I say there is no reason I should pay them when I did everything correctly to pay me bill on time.

I use the Overstock/Comenity Bank credit card to purchase a product online. I realize I recieve 2 late charge on my billing statement and double my minimum payment. The strange thing I sent the 2 money orders Certified mail and I received the return receipt card. I sent one payment off 3 and Overstock recieve it on the 6 but they claim to recieveit on the 9?. The second Certified mail was sent on Dec 30 and I received the return card on the 3 of January and Overstock/Comenity bank claim they received it on the 17th? My payment is due every 7th of the month. I realize that Overstock/Comenity Bank is scamming there client on late charges for no reason. Plus, I really found out why they are intentionally charging later fee to there customers. Ill be contacting people in higher authority and my certied copies and money orders. All I can say they are going to have a lot of explaining to do and possible facing a class action lawsuit.

******** **** – Now Bread Financial – CLOSED one of my accounts WITHOUT WARNING! This was one of my oldest/longest accounts with a great credit limit. Because ********/Bread Closed this account, it had a negative impact on my credit score. Terrible!!! I did not receive a single call, text, email or piece of traditional USPS mail indicating that my account was going to be closed and for what reason.
When I called the phone number that the Store Credit Page indicated, the message was,
“If you are calling because your credit card account was closed, there is nothing we can do."
What in the name of terrible customer service **** was this message was all about?!?
Shame on you ********/Bread! You can change your name, but you cannot change what you did. Explains the terrible 1.5 out of 5.0 stars on BBB!

The service is very poor. They do not post payments for days after your check is received. I wish I was back with **** for my visa credit card account.

This "bank" issues or BJ'S Mastercard. We have experienced every issue mentioned in the current alert. Should you call and actually get to talk to someone without them hanging up on you they cannot explain charges. We never carry a balance, every statement is paid in full immediately upon receipt, yet somehow they have charged nearly $100 in interest over the last two months. Their explanation: it's the retailers charging for using a credit card.
This is about as close to a scam as you can get. If it were possible to give a negative CSR these people would definitely be the poster child.

The website does not work when you need to make a payment. I repeat the steps multiple times without success. A technical glitch has occurred and there's no way to make the payment. I think it is designed to destroy your credit. I don't recommend it. I did it with ****** credit card but I didn't know that it was this bank. Very bad.

      The late fees never stop.
I used a B&H camera card from Comenity Capital Bank for purchase in July of 2022. I am lucky enough to be able to pay all of my credit cards in full each month. Starting in September 2022, I started receiving text messages (not email) from Comenity Bank to call for a pass do bill. I call an agent who convinced me that I must have missed something, so I agreed to pay about $90.00 in full, all fees included, even though I have not purchased anything since July 2022. Now January 2023, I started getting text messages saying that I still have late fees again; even though my last conversation with a Comenity agent told me that my $90.00 was complete, the late fees just keep coming. From my experience with Comenity Capital Bank, I concluded that it is nothing more than an elaborate fraud platform with the ability to bully their customers into paying made-up late fees, or they will report a negative report to the credit bureau. This is a dire situation for the average consumer.

I have a hard inquiry that showed up on my credit report from a few days ago from this company. I have not applied to any credit cards, or anything at all. I have frozen my credit and am trying to get it removed, but so far no luck.
