      Joke of a company! I applied and received a Big Lots credit card and this was the company that issued the card. I attempted to activate the card this morning. I was apologized to and was told by a customer service representative that they were having a technical issue activating the card. I was transferred to this b.s. bank. I was told by someone there it was not activated and I could use it. Sounds great to me. I'll go out and buy some things, take advantage of a coupon for a first time purchase using the card. I went to the store, grabbed some things and went to check out. Card declined! They are having technical problems on their end and can't activate the card. The store manager and I call them and get the run-around on how this won't be fixed until Monday. The coupon I used was applied to the purchase and now voided. But if I paid with any other method, the coupon couldn't be applied because it goes along with the credit card. I spend an hour more yelling at customer service reps who aren't helpful and won't replace the coupon. The store and I were frustrated as I was passed off from one person to another on the phone, who also couldn't do their jobs. I am then transferred to a supervisor, *****. He will credit me the coupon in 11 days, let technical support; to which he doesn't have the number for, know the trouble with activating my card. His company has wasted my time, the store's time, and has no answer of when the issue will be resolved. I told him he could pay for my transaction and he wouldn't. He told me to use another method of payment, or wait the 11 days for the credit to come and try again then. Is this man serious? I'm usually not a complainer, but this was ridiculous. Before you apply for a card with this bank do yourself a favor and read these reviews. As for *****, I hope you choke on your drool while you sleep.

      This is a terrible credit card company. I called because there was a fraudulent charge/purchase on my statement for *****. I called and put in a report when I received the statement on or about 7/9/2022 to the fraud department. The customer service Rep ****** said she will report the fraudulent charge and get back with me. When they contacted me back through the mail they said I was still responsible for a charge I had nothing to do with. I contacted a lawyer she wrote them a letter and they still sent me a statement with a ***** charge. I did not know anything about this charge i never made a charge and I am not responsible for this charge. They went on to say if I don't pay the charge they will report it to the credit bureau. I am writing because this is crazy and these people need to figure out how that charge got on my card.

      I would leave zero stars for this so call financial institution if I could. I paid off my balance and the following month they send me a statement that I showed an additional $100 in interest on a zero balance after it was paid of prior to the billing cycle. Very displeased with customer service there. One of the managers even hung up on me after trying to understand how the process worked.

      I submitted a payment for $50 and they only applied $44 to my account. DO NOT TRUST THESE TERRIBLE PEOPLE. ALSO, I financed some dental work through them, paid my entire **** off ON TIME & IN FULL, only to be told by my dentist that Comenity claimed I still owed them money.COMENITY CAPITAL BANK & BREAD FINANCIAL are NOT LEGITIMATE.

      Lured by great cd rate. After giving all personal information, was told that they could not approve my account at this time. Went to another bank with the same rate and didnt seem to have any problem.Was still bothered why it was denied as the funds were available and our credit rating is excellent. After a couple emails, was told it was not a credit problem, but by law could not tell me the reason. I would think that by law, they would have to disclose the reason.Maybe they did me a favor.

      Company is fraudulently trying to collect in a loan it never issued. The company is not reputable and is attempting to ruin my credit.

      This bank took over our account(s) that were in good standings and were auto paid to the ********* card...we didn't receive any notice until new credit cards had arrived! So when new *** cards came in we assumed we were still with *********...not this huk of s*** bank. We attempted using a card and that's when we were alerted that we were now hostages of Comenity and we tried to switch payment over and after the first attempts and a phone call we got it situated, but we're told couldn't use the cards for aprox 60 days to catch up on payment... call ***** Chase, or AMEX...any of them...**** your hostage negotiation since you report us as a late pay! Say bye to a few good clients you could have had!Unbelievable with horrible customer service! I hope you have all calls recorded where your agent says that you have not reported our account as delinquent....I'd like a copy of that conversation please!!!

      I was approved for a loan through bread and have made every payment on time. I was hospitalized so missed my last payment by a few days and came home to four missed calls PER DAY. Twelve missed calls in a total of two days and my payment isnt even a week late. If I could leave a photo review, I would. Do not recommend doing business with this company. Twelve calls in three days is a bit obsessive.

      Very competitive CD rates BUT **************** is terrible.Online messages are not answered, some reps are impossible to understand, long waits for calls can end in recorded messages.Not worth the aggravation.
